While wandering the streets of Vernworth in Dragon’s Dogma 2, to the east of the Diviner’s Salon, we bumped into Diana at night, a maid serving a noble family in Vernworth, who seeks your assistance.
Agreeing to help will kick off the side quest, “House of Blue Sunbright,” and the first part of this quest will involve persuading Daphne, from the Slums, to come and house sit for a while, while her doppleganger, Sebastian, takes a trip out to Melve.
However, Sebastian is going to need some supplies to make sure he gets to Melve and back. That’s where we come in.
If you speak to Diana after agreeing to help Sebastian, she’ll say, “The lands around Melve are rife with poisonous flora. I’d hoped to pack an antidote for the young master, but the shops had none to spare. ‘Tis not only poison the plants inflict, but drowsiness besides. Might there not be a curative that accounts for both?”
Meanwhile, speaking to Daphne, she will say, “I hear the safest way to get to Melve is to carry something that reeks of cyclops with you, because it’ll scare all the monsters away.”
So, with that in mind, in order to send Sebastian safely off to Melve, you’ll need to get the following items to give to him:
Detoxifying Decoction (Pitywort + Syrupwort Leaf), which cures blight.
Waking Powder (2 x Grandpetals), which cures sleep.
A Misshapen Eye (from a dead Cyclops).
Once you have all those items, give them to Sebastian and send him off on his merry little way. For completing the House of Blue Sunbright side quest, you’ll receive a Fine Harspud Roborant and 3,000 gold.
