It appears that 2K has an unannounced remake in the pipeline, although, what it might be a remake of is currently unknown. Speculation abound that it could be a full-blown BioShock 1 remake, following the 2016 remastered collection.
Goodness knows the 2007 original BioShock would be ripe for the remake treatment, and with work apparently “ramping up” on the next proper mainline entry in the series, it'd make sense to bring the game that started it all to a new audience.
The LinkedIn page of a Motion Capture Animator (MP1st via Eurogamer) spills the beans, listing two unannounced 2K games, including a sports title (possibly 2K's rumoured take on the FIFA license) and an "unannounced upcoming remake".
While the 2K remake could be anything, BioShock seems the most likely candidate, although I'd love to see a remake of The Darkness.
Achievements are hardly reflective of game quality lol I second Darkness remake though, feel like Bioshock holds up nicely still after last remaster;-)
