Dragon’s Dogma 2 - Where is the Jadeite Orb?

When you get into the Checkpoint Rest Town in western Vermund in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you’ll run into a spritely chap called Offulve. Offulve seems to have, rather illegally, it seems, gotten his hands on a valuable gem called the Jadeite Orb.

While the Jadeite Orb doesn’t belong to Offulve, he will ask you if you can kindly return it to him so he can sell it to start a new life for himself, away from his master, Everard. This will prompt the beginning of the side quest, “Hunt for the Jadeite Orb.”

Here’s the thing though, as not too long after this encounter with Offulve, you’ll bump into Everard, who will ask you to retrieve the Jadeite Orb for him. So, you have a choice to make.

First things first, what’s the location of the Jadeite Orb? Well, it’s actually not too far away. You can actually buy the real Jadeite Orb from Ibrahim’s Scrap Store, which is just around the corner in the Checkpoint Rest Town, although it will set you back 7,500 gold.

Now, you have three ways to finish the “Hunt for the Jadeite Orb” side quest:

• You can give it to Offulve, and receive 3,000 gold and an Elite Camping Kit.
• You can give it to Everard, and receive 12,000 gold and a Ring of Skullduggery.
• Or, you can get Ibrahim to create a copy for 2,000 gold, and then you can return the fake to Offulve, and the real one to Everard (it has to be this way, as Everard has the authenticity checked). That way you can get the best of both worlds, although you will have to live with the guilt that comes from screwing over poor Offulve.

Either way, that’s where to find the Jadeite Orb, and those are the different outcomes to the side quest, “Hunt for the Jadeite Orb.”
