Shadow of the Erdtree makes some changes to the Elden Ring formula. One of the biggest changes is the way that it deals with levelling and how powerful your character is. Basically, you don’t really need to think about levelling in the traditional way while you are in the Realm of Shadow. Here, you will find out pretty quickly that you are going to get battered fairly swiftly, no matter how high a level you were in the main game.
In the Realm of Shadow, it’s all about something called Scadutree Fragments. These collectibles are strewn across the new map, and you need to hoover them up, go to a Site of Grace, and then select the option there that says “Shadow Realm Blessing.” Then, you will have the option to select Scadutree Blessing and Revered Spirit Ash Blessing. We’ll get into Revered Spirit Ash Blessings later. For now, here all the Scadutree Fragment locations in the Cerulean Coast. You’ll find this one out in the open, on a pretty hillside. It’s right near the Cerulean Coast Cross Site of Grace. Start at the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace and head south over the fields to get to this one.
Cerulean Coast Cave
This one is slightly trickier. Start at the Cerulean Coast Site of Grace and head northwest. Hug the high rocky wall, and you will come to a cave on the right; this Scadutree Fragment is on a corpse in the cave, guarded by a tricky enemy. Beware!
