You can't move for Star Wars stuff these days, what with Asohka, The Acolyte, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Andor expanding the universe every which way. There are plenty of games, too, and Star Wars Outlaws is the latest one, set right in the original trilogy sweet spot between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Outlaws deals with Kay Vess, a Han Solo-esque scoundrel assembling a crew for a big, ambitious heist. She's joined by Nix, a plucky creature known as a Merqaal she can use to distract enemies. Like Solo, Vess puts her trust in a blaster and is out for herself - when things get too heated, you can turn heel and run.
We had the chance to check out Star Wars Outlaws, and it's shaping up very nicely, enabling you to sneak about or go in guns blazing when infiltrating somewhere you're not supposed to be, and you've a cargo ship that's handy in a dogfight. Can it complete the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs? Probably not, but it's still a bit tasty.
You can check out some new gameplay from Star Wars Outlaws below (this is different to the footage Ubisoft showcased during its Forward stream), and look forward to Vess and Nix's adventure on 30th August.
So instead of a proper Jedi Knight III we get the equivalent to pissing on the side of the bowl to reduce noise. We have a right to be mad as hell, but are we gonna take it anymore?
I'm actually pretty excited for this game. I kind of wish I was just playing as Han (set during a different time, for obvious reasons), but I get it....I guess.
Actually i will be getting one month of ubisoft plus as its the best way to try it on xbox without paying full money.. I did the same with Ass creed mirage and POP also finished before a month itself..
