Two new games are live now for Xbox Game Pass, following the addition of Cricket 24 and The Case of the Golden Idol earlier in the week. Both Tchia and Neon White have also been added to the library as part of July's wave one lineup, offering two very different experiences.
Tchia is the work of indie developer Awaceb, and is an achingly pretty, colourful adventure set within a world inspired by New Caledonian culture. You play as the eponymous Tchia, starting out aboard a raft floating on the New Caledonia seas.
You'll track down hidden treasure and scale treacherous heights, jumping, gliding, and flying across Tchia's open-world sandbox, while using a soul-jumping mechanic to leap into and take control of animals, whether it's birds in the sky, fish in the sea, or creatures on land. Tchia can even hurl her soul into inanimate objects like lanterns and coconuts, enabling her to tackle enemies in fun and inventive ways.
Or you can simply wind down and noodle around with Tchia's fully playable ukulele.
As for Neon White, developer Angel Matrix's speedrunning FPS and twitch platformer is a real treat, seeing protagonist White tackling a range of challenging levels as quickly as possible, using cards to unleash weapons and parkour abilities. To find out more, you can read our Neon White review.
Tchia is now available for Xbox Series X|S and PC, while Neon White is available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. You can check out the launch trailers for both below.
