Not What It Seems Achievement in The Talos Principle II

This is a three-part achievement that takes place during both the Prologue and Act 1.

Prologue - when you head back to the VTOL to actually embark on your expedition, you'll automatically have a conversation with Doge in the hallway on the way to the briefing room. During the conversation, you must choose the dialogue option that you're interested in meeting these people

Act 1 - during the first puzzle area, E1, you'll get a private message from Doge. Open up his message and make sure you consent to have your data shared. Doge will then ask you a series of seven questions. Your answers need to be such that you get matched with Rand later. Here are the answers you need to use:
 

• Knowledge
• Yes, lying can be okay
• Yes, bad behavior deserves to be punished
• The universe is weird, we'll never fully understand it
• Human progress shows things can get better and stay that way
• We should not disregard the wisdom which brought us here
• No, prayer has no effect on the world

Later in Act 1, during the third puzzle area, E3, you'll again get messaged by Doge. Again agree with him along the way, and he'll offer up five people to match you with. I'm not sure if it ultimately matters who you pick for the purposes of this achievement, but to continue working on Rand for A New Morality (30G), choose the scholar. This, along with the responses above, will ensure you get paired with Rand later. That's enough to unlock this achievement though.
