Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is a New Open World Action-RPG From the Developer of Ashen, Launching on Xbox Game Pass

A44, the developer of the critically acclaimed game Ashen, has announced Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, a new open world action-RPG that will launch on Xbox Game Pass on day one. (via IGN)

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn will see players combining axe wielding, gunslinging, and magic flinging, in a “demanding yet rewarding” combat system that will see you fighting undead foes and challenging the very gods themselves. Along the way, you'll be joined by Enki, an AI-controlled fox-like companion that wields its own magical powers on the battlefield.

Playing as Nor Vanek, a member of the coalition army, you'll explore a dangerous open world, from desert sands to cavernous ruins, where the old God's army of the undead roam, after the Door to the Afterlife was opened. Along the way, you'll have to unveil the secrets that lie in the City of Dawn, and put together a team of explosives and weaponry experts, in order to lay siege to the gods.
