Since exploding onto the scene back in 2009, Borderlands has carved itself a niche in a crowded genre of shooters, thanks to its unique art style and trademark unhinged, offbeat comical bits. All of that is back in abundance for Borderlands 3, you'll (probably) be happy to know.
According to Creative Director Paul Sage, no other looter shooter quite manages to deliver the level of irreverence and humour that Borderlands does, and looking back at the Borderlands 1 and 2, The Pre-Sequel, and Tales From the Borderlands, it's hard to disagree with him. It's certainly funnier than The Division.
