While Diablo has pretty much been setting the bar for action RPGs for some time now, many games have attempted to carve its own niche within the genre, like Victor Vran or The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. Neocore Games is hoping to go one better with Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr, taking the "next step" for the action RPG.
But what does that mean exactly? You'll have to watch our interview with Neocore's PR & Marketing Manager David Martha to find out, while gleaning other pieces of information on the game including what the game's slightly unwieldy title is all about. There's a very good reason for it, obviously.
For more on Neocore's take on the Warhammer 40K universe, give our interview video a look below. Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr will be heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 5th June. If you'd like to check out some gameplay too, hit this here link.
