05-05-2014 So right now I am currently playing World of Tanks to grind out some achievements but what I want to know is what game are you currently playing/grinding? Also make sure to update every now and again letting us know what you have finished grinding and what you are moving onto next!! Feel free to communicate with other members as the game they are playing might be the game you are too!

just a question because this time last year i only just started, i went over my achievement list and became nostalgic over it... will it ever return?

So, I started this today, and am now in the last memory (I believe) which is a timed one. And boy is this a step up in difficulty from the previous two games. All the timed sequences in this game so far have been borderline sadistic, requiring near perfect timing. At some points, you may even lose before you even know it, getting so far behind the curve early on that you cannot catch up later, forcing a return to checkpoint. The stealth sections are also pretty challenging, with a couple of spots needing perfect timing to get through. Also, there are more instances (even more than in India) where you absolutely need to resort to your Helix powers, which in the first game, IIRC, were completely optional. I'm actually getting frustrated now with the last memory, with at least a dozen attempts at one of the checkpoints now. It's not that I don't enjoy difficult games, it's that I don't enjoy cheap difficulty. There's literally no margin for error in a few parts of the game.

Before I get into this I just wanna say I'm in no way a hater of AC, in fact it's my favourite game series. After the disastrous launch of AC Unity and the quite short (but still amazing) AC Rogue, it seemed clear Ubisoft were buckling under the pressure of their own release schedule. Perhaps it's time to ask, are games like Liberation, Pirates, Memories, Identity and Chronicles: China all just a bit too much? I don't mind having a game every year because they have at least two teams working on the franchise so can do a 2-year release cycle and keep producing games annually, but perhaps all these handheld and little side projects are just proving to be stretching Ubisoft a bit fun and ultimately dampening the 'main' games which bring in the most bucks?

Really doesn't look like the sort of game I would normally play. I am a bit of a graphics whore to be honest so playing something like this wouldn't normally enter my mind. But I also like achievements so an 'easy' 1000 is very appealing. Should I do it??

Complete the sequences, do some viewpoints, complete everything else in the game, and a couple achievements that will likely come during normal gameplay like revive a partner, sabotage alarm bells, etc. I'm sure the secret achievements are for completing the present day missions. I think it's definitely better than Rogue's list. What do you think of them?

As some of the other threads have detailed, 1 vs 100 is gone and doesn't appear to be coming back. This thread just served the basis for someone looking--being able to find this info easily.

Seriously, it only took me a couple of hours to get 1000G on this game and it was so simple. All I did was put the difficulty to easy then turn illegal blows off then play through the career mode by beating every boxer by continually low blowing them. Somehow, even though I was doing the exact same thing for a couple of hours straight, I didn't get bored once and I actually really enjoyed it... Guess I just enjoy hitting other guys in the nuts over and over again.
