Do you guys think if a friend who doesn’t have the game is playing with me can they unlock achievements or they need to buy game in order to do that as well?

Im thinking maybe you can pickup console the 6th and preload game the 6 but cant actually play till the 7th but would like some sort of confirmation. thanks.
