  1. Is anyone else having an issue with the time it takes to load a world once created? Started a new (random) map, played for a couple of hours, saved the game, came back to it this morning and it was stuck on the loading screen for 15mins (twice in a row) without loading. Is this an issue anyone else has encountered? Thanks in advance, K.
  2. Hello, I will be on tommorrow afternoon (GMT) and if theres any UK based players (preferably adultsO who want to work towards leveling up, platinums and the odd achievement then let me know. GT: grimscar Please send a short msg beforehand and PLEASE have a mic! K.
  3. Hello, Hopefully a quick question, do you have to have the Navcard table assembled prior to completing the 'Mined Games' achievement (in a similar way to Die Rise) or are the two not interdependant (in a similar way to Transit). Whilst I already have the table, I need to know whether my usual party who chase the achievements will also need it assembled or whether we can crack on with the achievement without it. Thanks, K.
  4. Of the two methods (Time Bomb and the stay on round 1 with chalkes method) I found the time bomb method the easiest and surprisingly less time consuming (apologies for the the pun). All I would do was drop down to the remmington chalk, apply the chalk to the ? next to it, drop down to box and have a pop. If I didn't get the time bomb first try, quit and re-start. It is possible to have two tries at the box, but if you get the time bomb first you can recapture all the early point opportunites (such as the 200pts when you free Leroy). It took 10-15 tries to get the time bomb on the first go, but I think it is easier than running a loop in the cave system to get you to the bar! K.
  5. I'm in the process of trying to resolve each of the navcards at the moment. I have each table built (in a public match so it saves the completed table) on the three DLC maps. The Transit Navcard was accepted in Die Rise. The Burried Navcard was accepted in Transit. I still hold the Die Rise Navcard. (I accept the above may be common knowledge, but is useful to list it out.) Of the above, the Navcard tables were assembled prior to completion of each easter egg, so as Graf eluded to these two elements do not seem to be interdependant at this time. K.
  6. Evening all, This achievement is fast becoming one of the most frustrating achievements that I've had to deal with over the past years! If anyone can offer any helpful tips / ways they have done the achievement (other than those listed on Youtube and the like) I would be grateful. We have punted tens of thousands to get the EMPs, ran out of ammo up at the tower and died countless times running up through the cornfield. If anyone has any helpful hints I would be grateful! Thanks in advance, K.
  7. Hey everyone, Quick questions that I hope someone can throw some light on (and an FYI to anyone who hasn't got the the 2nd island, there may be a couple of spoilers). I have just landed on the 2nd island, got the truck, driven to the town and found the 'undercover German' (for lack of a better description). The next mission prompt is the "kill one of the recruits and replace them" part. I haven't progressed on the story until I know whether 'going undercover' will allow me to liberate the bases on the Southern Island. I was able to liberate a single base on the southern island (a test) but would like to know whether I need to liberate them all before proceeding with the main story. Can anyone throw some light on this please? Thanks in advance, K.
  8. Afternoon all, Considering purchasing The Scorchers DLC for Rage and was wondering whether the DLC is integrated into the main campaign (ie. additional missions within the main campaign) or a seperate 'mini campaign' for lack of a better term. Thanks, K.
  9. Evening everyone, Just wondering if anyone is experiencing problems sleeping on newly generated worlds after the latest update [19-12-2012]. I can place a bed down but am unable to sleep in it (the option is not there). I can sleep on worlds generated during the first release and after the first 'main' update, but am unable to sleep on any newly generated worlds post the latest update. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks, K.
  10. Posty turned up at 11am but no game in sight! Spoke with Amazon and APPARENTLY a second Royal Mail delivery for 4pm has been scheduled. Not sure if being fobbed off but will check back here later on t let you know either way!
  11. It's good to know it wasn't only my game that was 'glitched' in this respect. Completed it all on normal, played one level through on amateur (looking for emblems), then joined a friends game co-op (he set up on pro) only to find I only got the co-op elements completed on amateur. I'll try a quick pro run though on one level tonight before we resume co-op and see if it solves this issue (as suggested in this thread). Ta, K.
