Introduction:
Overwatch is a game created by Blizzard, the company that brought us Warcraft, Diablo, Heroes of the Storm and Hearthstone. They make top quality games, and this is no exception. They focus highly on hero characters, and give plenty of them to choose from. This is a first person shooter, with classes, similar to other games you may have played before. The achievement list is quite brutal, with a lot of them requiring luck and skill to obtain them. Because of it being multiplayer, a lot of your achievements depend highly on situations that occur outside of your control. They aren't always around each other. This is not a game where the multiplayer will become obsolete. Blizzard has a high success rate of players who continue to play. This game will last a long time, with many updates.

NOTE: Gameplay and tips on characters can change drastically with updates. Some characters are weakened or strengthened, which could make it easier or harder to gain achievements. When new characters are added, it could also change conditions. This guide, therefore, will never be complete all the time.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Unlike most games with guides, there is only really one step. It is all multiplayer. Every character has 2 specific achievements related to them. The rest of the achievements are based on doing well in matches (specific results). You must earn these achievements through hard fought battles, experience with each character, and an understanding of how all of the mechanics work. Keep on playing until you get all of the achievements. Luck and persistence.

Ana DLC

Introduction:
Ana is the first DLC and new character to Overwatch. Adding to the already strong support class team, Ana has a nice mix of moves to help a team push towards an objective. From healing and doing damage overtime from a distance, she’s also got move that’ll halt or hinder the enemy in one shot.

?Online:
With Ana come two new achievements. One is linked to her ultimate Nano Boost and the other her Sleep Dart. In theory, both of these are not that challenging to obtain but like the main game, it all comes down to how well you can play has her and the team you’re with. You’ll find it a lot easier if you’re with a buddy or a group of friends as you’ll then be able to plan your attacks and link up your moves for a better outcome.

Conclusion:
Overall, you’re really not looking at a hard 100%. "Naptime" should come naturally as long as you listen out for the enemy ultimate signs but "Enabler" will be the one that takes a little more time.

Halloween Terror 2016 DLC

Introduction:
Halloween Terror is a timed event taking place between October 11th to November 1st; starting in 2016. It includes seasonal loot boxes and Junkestein's Revenge, which is a 4-player PvE brawl mode with three distinct difficulties.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
In order to complete all four achievements in this Title Update, you will want to start off by getting familiar with the mode and completing a run on medium to unlock "Survived the Night." You will then want to rotate and win using the other 3 heroes in order to unlock "Four They Were." Those two didn't require too much skill, but up next you will have to complete a full run on Medium without taking any damage to your door to unlock "Not A Scratch." Lastly, you will have to complete a run on Hard to unlock "Held The Door." This can take extremely skilled teams as little as a few hours, but may take some teams significantly longer. Hard will require a lot of skill, so not every team will be capable of completing it.

Sombra DLC

Introduction:
Sombra is the second new character to Overwatch. Joining the offence side of the game, Sombra brings great mix of moves to the cripple the enemy team. She's character that plays from the shadows where she can time her attacks without worry or hinder the other team with her hacks.

?Online:
Sombra's main role is to hack and with that her 2 achievements are linked to this move. Both achievements though can be a little tricky if you're trying to play her actual role of offence, so it's best to stay back and play from the shadows and wait for the perfect moment. Her hack move has a great range, so feel like you have to get up and personal when going for the "Hack the Planet" achievement. For "Power Outage," you're going have be at the right place at the right time or hope you have teammates like Zarya to help bunch up the enemy.

Conclusion:
Overall, you’re really not looking at a hard 100%. "Power Outage" will be the achievement which will take you a little more time as it's partially luck based, but with a bit of practice "Hack the Planet" should come naturally.

Winter Wonderland 2016 DLC

Introduction:
Welcome to Overwatch's Winter Wonderland 2016. The first winter season content of the game which introduced Mei's Snowball Offensive to the mix. This game mode pits 2 teams of Mei's up against each other in one epic snowball fight. There are a total of 4 achievements to unlock during this limited time content.

Online:
Mei’s Snowball Offensive is a 6v6, single-elimination game mode where you must shoot a snowball at the opposing team to eliminate them and win 3 rounds. In this brawl, Mei's Endothermic Blaster no longer unleashes a stream of frost or shoots icicles. Instead, it's been modified to fire a single, super-powered snowball. Taking down an enemy only takes one hit, but a miss can be costly. Once your weapon is empty, your enemies will have the advantage as you search for the nearest snow pile to reload, so don't forget to cover your retreat with ice walls and cryo-freeze to block their attacks—and when the battle starts to heat up, you can activate Mei's Ultimate, which turns her blaster into a semi-automatic snowball launcher, allowing you to fire continuously as your enemies scatter.

The game itself isn't hard but the achievements can be a little trickier as you'll either require a good team or a lot of luck. Some will hopefully unlock naturally and with a bit of planning.

Missable/Unobtainable:
The achievements will become missable/unobtainable once the seasonal event ends. It's worth noting that the events do launch again when the season comes back around the following year but it's not always guaranteed that it'll be the same event/game mode or it'll then be in rotation with a new one.

If the event does not come back around and is fully replaced with something new, then this means that all following achievements could become unobtainable. Though Blizzard does on occasion for their Anniversary events, relaunch previous seasonal events/game modes for you to play, so this will be your chance to unlock them.

Year of the Rooster DLC

Introduction:
Welcome to the Lunar New Year event which is currently either known as Year of the Rooster and Dog. Both yearly events are the same mode which is Capture the Flag game mode. Both years had this event but it was across two different maps, but this does not change anything with the achievements.

?Online:
Both teams have a flag near their spawn room that the other team must capture. A player can pick up the other team's flag after a short capture time, and their team gains a point if it is taken to their team's flag spot. However, the flag will be dropped if the player is killed, uses a special move and it can then be returned to its start if the other team captures it back. Both achievements are easy to obtain, but one will require you to either have a good team and right players in use.

?Missable/Unobtainable:
The achievements will become missable/unobtainable once the seasonal event ends. It's worth noting that the events do launch again when the season comes back around the following year but it's not always guaranteed that it'll be the same event/game mode or it'll then be in rotation with a new one.

Though Blizzard does on occasion for their Anniversary events, relaunch previous seasonal events/game modes for you to play, so this will be your chance to unlock them.

Orisa DLC

Introduction:
Orisa is the third character to be added into the Overwatch universe and works alongside the other Tanks. She's got a mix of moves which consist of helping block attacks and damage being dealt to both you and your teammate. While her other move, helps keep the enemy in your line of sight to get those extra kills.

?Online:
Orisa's moves are pretty standard and not hard to use, but putting them to use for the achievements can be a little tricky and you'll need a little bit of luck. "Overclocked" isn't too bad but you'll have to make sure you use it at the right time when a possible ultimate from another teammate is being used. This will maximise the amount of damage being dealt in one go. "Halt State" on the other hand is a little more trickier but if you can somehow link it again when a teammates ultimate is being used, then this will get you the best results.

Conclusion:
Orisa is one of the trickiest characters to get both achievements on as it requires a good team with some luck of the enemy players bunching up. Keep at it though and luck will prevail.

Summer Games 2017 DLC

Introduction:
Welcome to the Summer Games and the contents event - Lucioball. This futuristic spin on soccer places you in a fast-paced 3v3 match in three special arenas. Players can choose between two modes: Lucioball and Copa Lucioball, which offers a more competitive experience with placement matches, skill ratings tiers, leaderboards, competitive points and much more.

?Online:
There are two teams of three Lucios, with a modified moveset. The objective is to knock the ball into the opposing team's goal. The team with the most points when the timer runs out wins. Lucio's moves have changed a little for this seasonal event, so below is a quick breakdown:

  • Sonic Amplifier: Yo only have access to your alt-fire and not primary attack. This now only works on the football and not other players
  • Crossfade/Amp It Up: Crossfade is constantly on the speed boost and can be amplified by 'Amp It Up'
  • Sound Barrier: Once you trigger your ultimate, you'll be given a massive speed boost for a limited time

The achievements for this event are pretty straightforward and as long as you get involved into the game, they should come naturally. I'd suggest you play through a few games to learn the ropes and on how best to hit the ball to get maximum speed/air out of it. It's also worth just practicing jumping off the launch pads and riding the walls for the "Volley" achievement as this one is the trickiest out of the 3.

?Missable/Unobtainable:
The achievements will become missable/unobtainable once the seasonal event ends. It's worth noting that the events do launch again when the season comes back around the following year but it's not always guaranteed that it'll be the same event/game mode or it'll then be in rotation with a new one.

If the event does not come back around and is fully replaced with something new, then this means that all following achievements could become unobtainable. Winter Wonderland 2017 DLC

Introduction:
Welcome to Overwatch's Winter Wonderland 2017. This second season of content now introduces Yeti Hunter. This 6-player brawl sets 5 Mei's against one Yeti player who utilises Winston’s abilities. There are a total of 2 achievements to unlock during this limited time content.

Online:
The concept of the game is for the Yeti to gather meat to unlock a powerful rage ability adding immunity to freeze and more powerful bonuses. The Mei's try to find and eliminate their woolly opponent before he’s consumed enough meat. The Mei players have a new tool in their arsenal, though - a modified “Yeti Trap” ultimate ability.

The two new achievements are fairly simply and easy to achieve compared to the games previous seasons content. The round starts with 5 Mei's and 1 Winston Yeti. The Mei's have a total of 5 lives in which they must kill the Yeti, while the Yeti's task is to diminish all 5 lives of the Mei's and to help, he can eat the meat scattered about to help him rage and buff his health.

Missable/Unobtainable:
The achievements will become missable/unobtainable once the seasonal event ends. It's worth noting that the events do launch again when the season comes back around the following year but it's not always guaranteed that it'll be the same event/game mode or it'll then be in rotation with a new one.

Though Blizzard does on occasion for their Anniversary events, relaunch previous seasonal events/game modes for you to play, so this will be your chance to unlock them.

Overall Conclusion:
Playing over and over again is the only way to get a full completion. Most of it is based on luck combined with skill. There is no 100% guarantee that you will get achievements by following this guide, or being extremely good at the game. The randomness of situations can slow the progress down severely. Being on a good team helps in some ways, but being on bad teams can help as well. For example, getting four kills with certain ultimate powers. The worse your team is doing, the more likely there are several enemies grouped up on the defence point. This game is a lot of fun, and the challenging, time consuming achievements have enough flavour to have you switching characters to get a full feel of the game.

There are 164 achievements with a total of 2575 points

  • Earn 10 battle pass tiers.

    See "Level 50" achievement description.

  • Earn 25 battle pass tiers.

    See "Level 50" achievement description.

  • Earn 50 battle pass tiers.

Playing naturally, you will eventually unlock this. You will very likely still have many achievements to go for after completing this one. Medals will help a lot. They are awarded at the end of the match and based on your performance compared to your team mates. If you aren't good at shooters, play as Mercy and just heal people. Stay on the objective a lot and you should get 1 or 2 gold medals a game.

Hint: Play with a group or a friend to gain a 20% experience boost.

  • Win 100 games in Quick or Competitive Play.

You can see how many wins you have from the main menu. Choose "Career Profile" and it will show an overview. On the top right, you will see how many wins you currently have. This will come over time as you work towards the other more tedious achievements.

  • Kill 4 enemies with a single use of Reaper's Death Blossom in Quick or Competitive Play.

Death Blossom is Reaper's ultimate. When used, Reaper will spin in circles shooting his guns. It does a lot of damage, but is a close range power. The best way to get this is to use your Wraith Form (lbbut) and get in the middle or near as many enemies as you can. Then use your ultimate and hope that it kills at least 4 enemies.

*Having Ana use her ultimate on you before using your own, will help the damage output. Also, Zarya and Mei can get the enemies in a cluster and you can easily use your ultimate to finish them off.

  • Play a Quick or Competitive Play game in a group with a friend.

To play with a friend, start at the main menu. Press and select the blue square that has an icon with the plus symbol in it. Press to select, and it will show your friend list. If you have any friends playing, you will see their overwatch icon by their names (they are listed first, before all other friends). Press on their name, and choose to invite them to group. Now play a match to get the achievement.

  • Kill 4 enemies with a single use of Genji's Dragonblade in Quick or Competitive Play.

Genji's ultimate is melee with his sword. You have 8 seconds to kill 4 enemies. This can be difficult. It will most likely be best to do this while there are enemies defending a point, so that it is more likely there will be many in one area. Your dash attack refreshes after every kill, so abuse it.

  • Get a 20 player kill streak in Quick or Competitive Play.

Kill streaks do not require you to be the one who actually does the killing. Assists will count as an elimination. Getting this streak can be obtained by any of the characters. Some people having a hard time with this may want to try using Torbjorn. You can lay turrets and hide most of the time, staying back from the dangers of death. Your turret can be rebuilt very quickly, so if it dies you can build another one right after. Junkrat is another good character. You can stay back and launch grenades into the area where enemies are, and your ultimate can take out many enemies from a distance. There are plenty of tactics you can use with other characters as well, but those 3 might make it easier for the average.

This is not obtainable in an overtime match.

  • Destroy 3 of Symmetra's Teleporters in a single Quick or Competitive Play game.

Symmetra has a dual-type ultimate. She can either place a teleporter or shield generator. The telepoter is a gateway for the enemies to quickly come out of from the respawn location. This in theory is an easy achievement, except that you have to play against a team that actually has Symmetra on it, as well as that specific person placing them each time they get their ultimate and not the shield generator.

You also have to find and destroy them, hoping your team ignores them. Giving those circumstances, if can be difficult to obtain. Another thing is that her ultimate can create a shield generator. Playing ranked, the matches can last longer, giving you more time to find and destroy them.

  • Use health packs to heal 900 health in a single life in Quick or Competitive Play.

You will want to choose a character with high life, such as Roadhog, D.Va, or any other character that has more than a few hundred life. You should find a health pickup that is somewhat near an objective. As you take damage, quickly retreat back to this health. You can continue to endanger yourself briefly, then retreat. If the other team is on the defense, they may have a turret. This is a great way to take damage and grab health over and over.

Note: Self damaging characters, such as Pharah or Junkrat, do not count towards the lost health.

  • Complete 50 challenges.

Medals show up in the end game screen, being bronze, silver, or gold. They represent the top 3 in various stats in the game (eliminations, healing, etc). This should come easily as you play the game over time.

  • Collect 50 unlocks for a single hero.

Unlocks are earned from loot crates. You get loot crates as you level up. The crates seem to try to divide what you earn between all characters. You will see all of your unlocks seem to be within 5 of each other per character. For example, I purchased 50 crates with real money and now have around 13-16 per character. This could end up taking a long time if you are grinding these out through leveling up. If you don't mind spending real money, you can speed up this achievement through purchasing a lot of crates.

Also, there is an in game currency that you obtain through duplicate unlocks as well as rewards from the crate itself. You may use the gold to purchase the unlocks you want.

Note: Earning character specific achievements will unlock a spray per achievement. There are many sprays to unlock that actually don't count towards the overall characters gallery. If you see same spray in various character's gallery, it is safe to say it will not count.

  • Kill 2 enemies with a single use of Genji's Deflection in Quick or Competitive Play.

Using , Genji will for a short period deflect incoming projectiles. They will, with usually high accuracy, fly back towards the enemy and hit them instead. High damaging characters, with lower health, seem to work best. Tracer, Reaper, and Hanzo are good enemies to try this against. Sometimes, running into the middle of a group of enemies will work, as you will deflect multiple attacks. You will likely die, but it's worth the try. The deflection can also be used against many of the ultimate powers.

  • Get 3 solo kills with a single clip of Reaper's shotguns in Quick or Competitive Play.

Reaper has a total of 8 shots in a clip. You cannot have anyone assist you in these kills. They must be all your own damage. This means you either get lucky or you really focus on attacking lower health enemies and getting in very close for maximum damage. Attack characters that have lower health and aim for the head.

  • Gotcha

    15

Get 2 killing blows with a single use of Cassidy's Magnetic Grenade in Quick or Competitive Play.

McCree can throw a flash bang to stun an opponent. They stop and are free to shoot at for a couple of seconds. When an opponent goes into a super, you usually know it is happening. Each hero announces it loudly with a special phrase. Some ultimate powers happen quickly, making it hard to time correctly. Be on the lookout for characters who have long ultimates. The easiest is probably Roadhog.

  • Get 4 killing blows with a single use of Cassidy's Deadeye in Quick or Competitive Play.

The ultimate of McCree is a focus fire. Multiple targets on the screen get highlighted, and eventually will have a skull icon above their heads. The time it takes to target them completely is based on their health. If they're already injured and you don't have the skulls, then they can still count as killing blows. This can be tricky as most people can shield, or duck away before you can shoot them. You will need to get to a vantage point and surprise them. Or wait for someone else's ultimate to hold them in place.

  • Kill 4 enemies in a row without touching the ground as Pharah in Quick or Competitive Play.

This achievement is really easy. The game allows you to continue to fly in the air for a very long time. You can launch rockets at enemies and your team will usually finish them off. You can stack this with your ultimate ability. You just have to keep pressing slightly to keep bouncing around in the air, and to launch yourself back higher.

  • Knock an enemy to their death using Pharah's Concussive Blast in Quick or Competitive Play.

Using Pharah's ability allows you to knock enemies back. Look for opportunities where there are cliffs. Shoot the ground in front of them, or even hit them with a body shot, and they should go flying to their deaths. A shot to the wall helps the projection of their bodies. This doesn't work great on all levels.

  • Earn 21 endorsements.

A postgame card is confusing, because they aren't exactly what you would expect them to be. When the match is over, there are a few "cards" displayed, which are really just some bragging right stats. You can only ever get one, but multiple people earn them. They are then voted on. You do not have to get any votes, just the card itself. If you struggle with the game, be Mercy or Lucio (healers). Just keep healing and usually you can get the card. If you want to track how many you have, go to Career Profile in the main menu. Press to move to statistics. Then scroll down, way down, until you see cards.

  • Get 2 killing blows with a single use of Soldier: 76's Helix Rockets in Quick or Competitive Play.

Using the will shoot out rockets, doing a lot of quick damage to an opponent. Usually shooting them with normal fire, then finishing them off with that ability works very well. You can get lucky by shooting them into groups as well, but the actual killing blow must be done by your helix rocket (and not as an assist).

  • Kill 4 enemies with a single use of Soldier: 76's Tactical Visor in Quick or Competitive Play.

The tactical visor is the ultimate for Soldier 76. It locks on to enemies and will shoot them without you having to really aim. It is on a very short time limit and normally, you will get around 2 kills per use. Getting 4 will be difficult, and require a lot of luck and being there at the right time (when a group of enemies are all low in health, and have no healer for example).

You will likely need to count on simply hitting an enemy and switching to another as your team advances. Do not focus on enemies with high health. Shoot them a few times and move to next enemy.

  • Stick 4 of Tracer's Pulse Bombs onto enemies in a single Quick or Competitive Play game.

Tracer has one of the worst ultimate powers in the game. She throws a quick pulse bomb (sticky grenade basically). Aiming is not always perfect, and the blast radius of the ultimate is laughable compared to other explosion based powers. Not that it matters here, because you actually have to stick the bomb onto the enemy. This means getting your ultimate at least 4 times in a match, and landing them all on the enemy. I found the easiest way to get this is to find a stationary Bastion. Teleport quickly towards him, throw a bomb on him, and likely be watching the kill camera soon afterwards because you will likely die in self sacrifice.

  • Keep Zarya's particle cannon above 70 power for 60 seconds in Quick or Competitive Play.

This can be fairly difficult to explain and understand. Zarya's damage is based on the shield she can place upon herself or an ally. If you or a team mate have the shield, and are being attacked, the particle cannon (her main weapon) will grow in power. The power amount can be seen on the reticle. This can be a hard thing to maintain, especially for a whole minute.

My advice is to not just throw your shield barriers out there without paying attention to what's happening on the battlefield. Only place it on yourself if you're getting attacked a lot and taking in lots of damage to help build the meter and do the same for your allies. Wait until your team makes a move or an enemies ultimate is used for major power gain.

  • Capture 4 enemies in a single use of Zarya's Graviton Surge in Quick or Competitive Play.

The Graviton Surge is Zarya's ultimate. It has a decent radius and pulls in your opponents into a cluster to shoot at. The hard part is having 5 enemies near each other. When there is a group at a defense point, or walking the payload to it's check point, you will need to utilize and judge the ultimate at the right time.

  • Get 3 killing blows while wall riding as Lúcio without dying in Quick or Competitive Play.

Lucio is a healer, and his weapon doesn't really do a whole lot of damage. Wall riding seems like a gimmick attached to him at the last minute. Making an achievement associated with this act, and not dying, seems quite the accomplishment. Especially when you add the fact it has to be the killing blow. Good luck wall riding and firing sound waves randomly at opponents, while crossing your fingers at the same time.

The best method available, is to use his secondary and blast an enemy off a cliff. When you do this, quickly start wall riding until you see that they have been killed.

  • Block 900 damage with a single use of Lúcio's Sound Barrier in Quick or Competitive Play.

Supersonic is the ultimate for Lucio. It gives your nearby team mates a really good shield. The best time to use this is when your group is being attacked by multiple opponents. Especially if there is a super involve, use it near your allies. It has a limited range.

  • Restore 150 health for 4 allies without dying as Mercy in Quick or Competitive Play.

This can seem difficult at first. Mercy is a healer and her ability heals very quickly. You will want to remember what players you have been healing. Stick around them, once you feel they have been healed a lot, switch to another character. If you are on a full team of friends, you can better figure out where you are on the achievement by just asking them what their health is at before healing. Use the to heal them, and to fly towards them quickly. This allows you o get to them, heal, then run back.

  • Resurrect 5 allies without dying as Mercy in Quick or Competitive Play.

Mercy has had quite a change in terms of moves. The main change is that her once Resurrect ultimate is now a stand-alone move, that only revives one play at a time and is on a 30 second cooldown. This actually makes the achievement a lot easier than the last version, as you can now take your time and not have to worry about most of your team having to die in one go.

Simply hang back doing your healing duties and once a teammate dies, dive in there and use Resurrect. Remember to only go for the revive if the area is safe or if you can Guardian Angel out of there fast. This should come naturally throughout the game and you'll have more that 6 deaths to choose from.

  • Hit an enemy with 3 beams simultaneously as Symmetra in Quick or Competitive Play.

Symmetra can lay down little sentry drones. She can lay up to 6 of them at one time, though you must wait for the ability to restore for all 6. This will be best to do on defense. Place the sentries on an archway or main area the enemy will be entering. Put them all close together and in a spot the enemy cannot see until it is too late. For the 7th beam, you must use your main weapon as well to gain the achievement. So stay near the placed sentries and help kill the enemy (this will happen very fast, as the beams also slow the opponent).

  • Damage 5 enemies during a single use of Winston's Primal Rage in Quick or Competitive Play.

Winston's ultimate is Primal Rage. It is kind of hard to control, and really just knocks back enemies. Once in this ultimate, you must attack and damage essentially their entire team of 6. Do this while they are guarding a control point. It can be sometimes hard to survive if you go in alone, but also hard to damage all 6 enemies while your team mates are also firing away killing them. There will only be a few rare occasions every now and then. If they have a teleporter, you can also use that to your advantage if let's say you hit 3 of them, but the other 3 were still spawning. You can camp the teleporter and hit them as they rush through (again, a rare occasion).

  • Teleport 15 allies in a single Quick or Competitive Play game as Symmetra.

Symmetra can lay down a teleporter as her ultimate. Putting these close to the objective is usually a good idea to quickly get back into the action. The enemy can destroy these teleporters and are alerted that they are being used. If you put the teleporter only halfway to the objective instead, your team will still use it but the enemies will have a harder timer finding it, as they typically will not wander too far from an objective.

A teleporter will vanish after 6 teleports. This means you will need to use your ultimate at least 4 times to get enough. This will require longer games to achieve. However, you can run through your own teleporter. You can then run back inside your spawn point and do it all over again. This makes the achievement a bit easier to obtain.

  • Restore 1250 health with a single use of Zenyatta's Transcendence in Quick or Competitive Play.

This ultimate achievement requires you to be by a lot of your team, and a lot of them to be low on health. Also for the majority of them to be high health based characters. If there were 5 Tracers on your team, for example, this achievement would be impossible, unless they were staying alive from your heals and all being attacked at the same time but not dying. This can prove to be a difficult achievement unless the right amounts of damage have happened, and you are close enough to the allies. Most likely this will be obtained at a defense point, with a grouped up dying team.

*An update has given this ability a higher heal rate as well as allows your character to move much faster. This makes the achievement a little bit easier than it previously was.

  • Win a game of Assault Maps on defense without losing the first objective.

You should get this naturally. On defense, you will need to stop the team from capturing Point A. This isn't too difficult, as there are plenty of times another team will just not be working together correctly to battle through your defenses. It's all about having the right combination of characters and people. Having 3 snipers, for example, is not a good defensive strategy. Having turrets, a healer, a tank, etc is a good combination.

  • Capture both objectives on a game of Assault Maps without dying.

This is done on assault maps. You have a point A and point B to capture. You can die before capturing point A, but once you have captured it, you cannot die from that point on. Also, you must participate in both captures. This achievement can be extremely tricky, as it doesn't always unlock. If you are D.Va, the game considers that you died, even if it was just your mech that got destroyed. Also, the game may count a death that happens after the match is over and you obtained victory (even when in your stats it does not reflect a death). This achievement is extremely difficult playing solo and very frustrating when you feel you have done everything correctly, yet it refuses to unlock.

  • Push a payload 100 meters without leaving it in Quick or Competitive Play.

This achievement isn't too difficult. Just stick near the payload (it's in a specific game type), and eventually you will get this as long as your team is doing a good job of killing the attackers. Sometimes people like to play as Bastion, and set up as the turret configuration while riding on top of the payload. Easy target, but quite powerful and annoying to the other team. Crouching next to it seams to work best. Can only be obtained on escort maps.

  • Prevent the attacking team from touching the payload for 1 minute in Quick or Competitive Play.

This is obtained in Escort Maps. You must kill the other team before they can get too close to the payload, which stops it from moving. This will be a team effort. Setting up multiple turrets on top of the payload, and using Reinhardt as a shield to them works very well, while a few around try to keep enemies from coming up from behind.

  • Win a Control map without the enemy capturing an objective in Quick or Competitive Play.

A control map is when both team's try to occupy a space (similar to king of the hill). You capture the point, and then a percent ticks until 100% so that you have won that round. Each team fights to gain control to make the percent go higher. For this achievement, in each round the other team cannot capture that point even for a second. This means you will have to be overpowering the opposite team the whole time. It can be difficult, but there are some teams that you will have no problem controlling.

  • Win a Quick or Competitive Play game on 12 different maps.

You should get this over time, while playing the game naturally. You will be spending numerous hours attempting to obtain the achievements. This will be a given, while going for them all.

  • Get 4 kills or assists with Zenyatta's Orb of Discord within 6 seconds in Quick or Competitive Play.

The Orb of Discord is the ability with the purple orb you use on enemies. It makes them weaker to attacks. You can use on on an enemy, and once they die use immediately on another. Or, change targets whenever you choose. 6 seconds is not a lot of time to gain this achievement. It's less than 2 seconds per death that happens. You will literally have to be shooting the orb randomly at groups of enemies, hoping to get the achievement. In an update, they have improved the health of this character and speed of the orbs, which should help a little bit.

  • Recover 400 health using Tracer's Recall without dying in Quick or Competitive Play.

Tracer has a unique ability which allows her to rewind back to a previous spot, 3 seconds before hand. Whatever health she had at that time, she will have again, even after being injured. She has a total of 150 health. So as you take damage, and rewind, you will gain health back. If you are low on health and can't recall to higher health, you can grab health pickups to refill and try again. Typically on attack, when you first spawn enemies will be shooting at your spawn. You can take damage and recall to gain health back. If you get hurt but can't recall, you can go back inside to gain auto health. Having a turret on the other team can also be effective. Show yourself a split second, then recall. Repeat until you get the achievement.

  • Destroy 10 turrets or traps using Winston's Tesla Cannon without dying in Quick or Competitive Play.

Winston has a weapon that works especially well against traps and Symmetra's turrets. They do quick damage, and you just hold the right trigger down. While this seems easy, you also cannot die. Your best bet is to attempt this while there is a Symmetra. She can set up at least 6 sentry bots up at once. Destroying them is very quick with Winston's weapon. You can then retreat and try again. The opponent will likely put them in the same area. If you're lucky, there will be multiple if Symmetra (quickplay only). Winston's weapon is not that great against regular turrets. You will basically have to put down a shield in front of a turret, and kill it while being protected.

If you're playing against Widowmaker or Junkrat, they deploy traps. If you are against Torbjorn or Symmetra, they deploy turrets/sentries.

  • Interrupt an enemy ultimate ability with Roadhog's Hook in Quick or Competitive Play.

Roadhog's ability is a hook that thrusts forward, and grabs enemies, pulling them towards you. You can then use shotgun and melee them, to get quick kills. For the achievement, you just have to hook someone while they are using their ultimate. An easy target is McCree, as he moves slower and usually takes a few seconds to lock on. You do have to be close enough for the hook to work, which you will learn as you use this character.

  • Kill 2 enemies in each of Bastion's configurations without dying in Quick or Competitive Play.

Bastion has 3 total configurations, meaning 6 total kills. The first is the normal running around configuration. You can shoot as you move. The second is stationary. You set up as a turret, and fire at enemies. The last is the ultimate, which turns you into a tank and fires explosive shells. The best way to tackle this achievement is to wait for your ultimate to charge. First, use your normal configuration to kill enemies (as it does the least amount of damage). Then, set up and kill 2 more. Make sure you get out of turret mode, because once enemies know where you are they can kill you a little bit easier than when you surprised them around a corner. Finally, unleash the tank and get the last 2 kills.

  • Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Bastion's Configuration: Artillery in Quick or Competitive Play.

Bastion's ultimate is to turn into a tank and shoot high damaging explosive shells. It usually only takes a shot or two to kill an enemy, and it does provide splash damage. When the enemies are at a defense point, you can roll in while your team is attacking and do some serious damage.

  • Get 3 killing blows with a single use of Hanzo's Storm Arrows in Quick or Competitive Play.

Hanzo's Scatter Arrow move has now been replaced with the more rapid firing Storm Arrows. Unlike the previous move, you can now shoot 6 arrows in rapid succession (by holding down ) or shoot one at a time (by pressing ) but whatever way you choose to shoot, you only have 8 seconds to fire all. For you to get 3 killing blows you're going to have to make sure you hit all 6 shots, possibly 2x arrows per-person unless you get clean headshots. If your team has a Zarya, then her ultimate is a great way to bunch up enemies for some easy kills.

As Hanzo also has the moves Lunge and Wall Climb, it might worth flanking the other team to catch them off guard and make your shots possibly a little easier.

  • Kill 4 enemies with one of Hanzo's Spirit Dragons in Quick or Competitive Play.

The ultimate for Hanzo are spirit dragons. However, with the legendary costume, they are wolves instead! When you use it, a spiraling force pushes forward, doing massive damage to anything in it's path. It can be somewhat easy to dodge for the other team if it is facing them. If you first use the recon arrow, you are able to see beyond walls and surprise enemies by shooting it in that direction while they do not know any harm is about to come to them. On average, you will only kill around 1 or 2 enemies. But of course, there is always the magic of luck and surprise to get you the achievement.

  • Knock an enemy into your Steel Trap using Junkrat's Concussion Mine in Quick or Competitive Play.

You will have more luck to place a trap that is a little farther than just around the corner or in an attacker's immediate path. If you are on a defensive point, place it farther back than normal. When an enemy is in front of you, shoot the concussion mine in front of them and with a little luck, they will fly backwards into the trap. This can be a somewhat difficult achievement because you really have to rely on luck for them to fly in the right direction.

  • Kill 4 enemies with a single use of Junkrat's RIP-Tire in Quick or Competitive Play.

One of the easier achievements for 4 kills with an ultimate, the tire is actually a very good ultimate for killing multiple enemies. You are able to steer it for many seconds, and detonate it when you wish (as long as the enemy team does not shoot and destroy it). I have literally killed 6 enemies plus 2 turrets with one explosion during a payload with this power!

  • Block 1000 damage with a single use of Mei's Ice Wall in Quick or Competitive Play.

Mei can create a ice wall, and that wall will block enemy attacks and movement. Typically, an enemy will not waste their time shooting the wall if they can just run around it. You need to place it in a spot where the enemy feels compelled to destroy it. The amount of damage the wall can take before breaking is the same as required for the achievement. So if the wall gets destroyed, it unlocks. The best luck I have seen for getting an enemy to destroy it, is while you are defending, place it in front of the front door of the attacking spawn point right when the match starts.

  • Knock 2 enemies to their deaths with one use of Roadhog's Whole Hog in Quick or Competitive Play.

Roadhog's ultimate is designed to push enemies back. It can have somewhat hard to control recoil. It can be gained faster if you are in fights being injured, and healing yourself. Otherwise, it is quite slow to obtain. This is best done on levels where you can pop around a corner and use your ultimate to shove enemies off a ledge. Having Ana give you a boost will actually make the achievement harder, because you will likely kill enemies before they fly off the cliff.

  • Freeze 4 enemies at once with Mei in Quick or Competitive Play.

Usually you can freeze one, maybe two enemies at the same time with Mei's normal gun. Her special, on the other hand, freezes enemies in a large circumference. You can use this on a defense point or payload, as well as trying to freeze other enemies that are lingering out of it's range. The ultimate is fairly quick and most enemies will not be able to react in time.

  • Absorb 500 damage with Torbjörn's Overload without dying in Quick or Competitive Play.

As you damage enemies and get kills (as well as turret kills), there will be scrap metal that drops on the ground. You can collect up to 200 scrap at once total. Each scrap collected is worth 25 of this 200. You will need to max out at 200, then wait for more scrap to be available on the ground. At the chance where your team is nearby and the other team is spawning, throw all your armor out, collect the rest of the scraps, and throw more. Do not collect it yourself, as you do not count towards this achievement. This is a tough achievement solo, if you have a full group you can let them know to pick it up.

  • Kill 4 enemies using Widowmaker's Venom Mine during a single Quick or Competitive Play game.

This can be accomplished fairly easily. Use to shoot a mine. It has a pretty quick timer on it. It damages enemies that get in too close to it. Place it frequently on points of interest, such as a payload or capture point. You do not have to get a final blow, just an elimation. Also, this is throughout the entire match, not all at once.

  • Kill an enemy with a scoped headshot while airborne as Widowmaker in Quick or Competitive Play.

While scoped in, you cannot jump or it will interrupt you from being zoomed in. Instead, you will have to be falling from a height or launching yourself in the air. In most parts of the maps, you get to a higher location by using Widowmakers Grappling Hook. If you manage to find one, then get into position, wait for a enemy player to be in the perfect position and jump off. Once you've jumped, scope in and aim for that kill.

The alternative and best way is to launch yourself with the Grappling Hook. Have a look around the current map you're on and look for a high spot and area where you have good lines of sight for a kill. Aim at the part you want to grapple to and just as you come to the edge of the wall/ledge etc press . This will cancel your grapple, but it'll use the momentum of your launch to fling you into the air. It's a lot easier doing this method, as your air time is much more and you kind of float for a second in midair giving you more time to aim for that kill.

  • Prevent 1250 damage with a single use of D.va's Defense Matrix in Quick or Competitive Play.

The use of the gives D.Va a forward facing shield. You might be surprised on how much damage can actually be deflected from this powerup, and it can be very useful. Doing it at the right time is key for that amount of damage. If there are 3 or 4 enemies for example, use it as soon as they all start firing at you. Or, if a high power ultimate such as Reaper's is being performed, you can use it here too and hopefully a few extra shots are coming in from another enemy. You should do this when you have it at full power and keep it held until you run out.

  • Kill 4 enemies with a single use of D.va's Self Destruct in Quick or Competitive Play.

D.Va's ultimate is self destructing her mech. You can either just use it where you are, or thrust forward and use it, setting it flying forward. The explosion is a fairly high blast radius that kills anything close enough instantly. However, it does take a while to actually explode, giving fair warning to everyone around it. This gives the enemy a chance to escape. Your best opportunity is when there are capture points, and the whole team is there. This can be one of the more difficult achievements, because people can hide behind things in the environment to be safe from the blast.

In an update, detonation time is reduced to 3 seconds and now does not kill D.va.

  • Block 7500 damage with Reinhardt's Barrier Field without dying in Quick or Competitive Play.

Reinhardt can block up to 2000 total damage before his shield needs to recharge. Keep hanging back, allowing enemies to shoot your shield (especially turrets). Once your shield breaks, back away and let it recharge. This can be a pretty difficult achievement because it is a long time for you to survive. Getting this naturally is highly unlikely, and you will have to actually focus on being safe and avoiding death.

  • Land Reinhardt's Fire Strike and Charge after an Earthshatter stun in Quick or Competitive Play.

This achievement is one of the easier ones. Once you get Reinhard's ultimate, find an enemy and use it with . This will knock them on the ground. Now, press followed by to finish them off. A low health character may die before you actually are able to perform the full combo, but actually doing the combo is quite easy.

  • Kill 4 enemies during a single use of Torbjörn's Molten Core in Quick or Competitive Play.

Torbjorn's turrets are quite accurate and you can get them to level 2 shortly after building one (done by switching to his hammer and hitting it). When there are multiple enemies around, use his ultimate and join in on the hail of fire with your basic gun attacks. The ultimate can last long enough for you to normally get a few kills, if not the entire 4 that you need for the achievement.

DLC: Ana

There are 2 achievements with a total of 30 points

  • Get 4 kills or assists with a single use of Ana's Nano Boost in Quick or Competitive Play.

Ana’s ultimate, Nano Boost, gives anyone of your teammates a 50% defence and attack buff. Once attached, it’ll last for 8 seconds and within that time frame, you’ll need to make sure you get a combination of kills and/or assists.

This is best used on a teammate that already has a high level of health like a tank. It’s also worth noting that when combined with a teammates ultimate, the likely hood of getting this achievement increases. Players like Reinhardt are good or combined with Soldier 76s ultimate make the perfect combination.

  • Interrupt an enemy ultimate ability with Ana's Sleep Dart in Quick or Competitive Play.

Ana’s Sleep Dart move is perfect for stopping an enemy player in their traps and it’ll cancel out most characters ultimates. All you’ll need to do is to stay close to your team when in a game and listen out for the battle cries of the enemy team players for when one is going to use their ultimate.

    Examples are:

    • McCree: It’s High Noon!
    • Hanzo: Ryuuga Wagateki Wo Kurau!
    • Roadhog: Fire In The Hole!
    • Zenyatta: Pass Into The Iris

After you’ve heard a battle cry, hopefully you’ll be in the right place at the right time to use your Sleep Dart move on them. If the move is either in the process of launching or currently being used, as long as you hit them with the Sleep Dart the achievement will unlock.

DLC: Halloween Terror 2016

There are 4 achievements with a total of 60 points

  • Win Junkenstein's Revenge using each of the 4 heroes.

Refer below to "Held the Door" for more information.

  • Win Junkenstein's Revenge on Hard difficulty with no damage to the door.

Refer below to "Held the Door" for more information, and prioritize Zomniks & Shock Tires.

  • Win Junkenstein's Revenge on Hard difficulty.

Refer below to "Held the Door" for more information.

  • Win Junkenstein's Revenge on Legendary difficulty.

    General Tips:

    • For Medium with no damage to the door - Focus on Zomniks and tires, then heroes and Zombadiers.
    • For hard - Focus on heroes, then Zombadiers, then tires and Zomniks.
    • ------------
    • Use the fodder to quickly recharge your ultimate when necessary.
    • Communication is key. Talk to your teammates if you want any chance. Call out strategies, tire locations and when you need help or health.
    • Study the map and learn the enemy movements and patterns. There are 3 "sides", and enemy behaviors will almost always be similar.

    General Strategy:
There will be 4 total members on your team, and each person is allowed to use 1 unique hero. You'll want to select the players and heroes of your team based on skill and experience with those heroes.

    Heroes:

    • McCree - McCree will focus on the left hand side stairs and walkway since he can see the entire map, which is important. Since McCree has the highest damage ultimate, he will focus on bosses as they spawn.
    • Hanzo - Hanzo will take the right side of the map; mostly focusing on enemies spawning out of the gate. He will use his ultimates to help damage bosses when necessary and cause a general area of affect attack at the same time against the other smaller enemies. Hanzo's ultimate ability is to cause great damage with headshots, so this player should focus on that when possible as well.
    • Soldier 76 - Solider 76 is in charge of the middle alley and the left side part of the water. He can help support Hanzo on the right, and should try to drop health whenever necessary. Because he doesn't cause much damage, his focus will be using his gun and ultimate to kill smaller enemies and taking out Zombadiers when bosses are active.
    • Ana - Ana is absolute crucial to strategy, she needs good aim and timing. She will also be the hero that must communicate the most. She will tend to stick near the middle, so she has a good view of all the other players. Her role is to heal as a priority, and damage enemies as only when free. Her most important role will be putting the bosses to sleep using her dart though.

    Enemy Types:

    • Zomnik - These are the basic goons. They spawn and travel in a direct path towards your gate. They won't stop for you, or damage you. Their sole purpose is to explode at your gate to damage it. They have little health and usually spawn in groups.
    • Zombadiers - These are the slightly larger blue goons. Their sole purpose is to damage you as heroes. They will generally stay close to their spawn locations, and they tend to pick on McCree and Hanzo because of their locations. They can cause a large amount of damage on hard, but have no threat to your door.
    • Shock Tires - At timed intervals, shock tires will be released from one of three sides (left, middle, right), and they will travel straight for your door in an attempt to explode and harm it. They move quite quickly but don't tend to have much health.
    • Heroes/Villians - At timed intervals during the session, bosses will spawn including Reaper (The Reaper), Roadhog (Junkenstein's Monster), Junkrat (Dr Junkenstein) and Mercy (The Witch). They all behave differently and the strategies needed will be explained later.

This entire strategy can be seen in action in the video below and only minor tweaks need to be made in prioritization if going for no damage on medium. The original strategy was created by Xbox Live user "Eurydace":

    Timeline:

    • 7:00 - At the start, take position listed under Heroes.
    • 5:40 - Shock tires will spawn for the first time.
    • 4:45 - Repear spawns.
    • 3:55/3:40/3:25 - More shock tires spawn.
    • 2:45 - Roadhog spawns.
    • 2:25 - More shock tires
    • 1:45 - Junkrat spawns.
    • 1:35 - Reaper spawns again. (McCree can hit both active bosses at the same time).
    • 0:50 - More shock tires.
    • 0:35 - Reaper again. Ana saves her ultimate.
    • 0:25 - More shock tires.
    • 0:00 - Mercy spawns. Roadhog and Junkrat are revived.

    Specific Tips:

    • Reaper - 4:45, 1:35 & 0:35 - He's quite easy to take out with timing and communication. As he spawns, he will teleport to the middle of the map. As soon as he teleports, Ana uses her dart to put him to sleep and then uses her ultimate to boost McCree. At this point, McCree uses his ultimate and locks on to the target. He holds the ultimate to the last possible second in order to do as much damage as possible. If done correctly, Reaper will be killed from McCree alone, and will be an easy kill because he's asleep. Mop him up as a team if this fails. As this happens, Hanzo should focus on smaller enemies attacking the door, and Soldier 76 can use his ultimate to quickly eliminate Zombadiers in the back, making sure to not accidentally hit Reaper which would wake him up.
    • Roadhog (Junkentstein's Monster) - 2:45 & 0:00 - In preparation, Hanzo should come to the middle. As Roadhog spawns, the goal is similar to Reaper. Use Ana to put him to sleep when he's in the open and then immediately boost McCree. (If Ana misses her sleep dart, just keep going). McCree uses his ultimate and locks on to the target. He holds the ultimate to the last possible second in order to do as much damage as possible. As McCree wraps up his ultimate, Hanzo uses his ultimate hopefully up the middle where Roadhog is. This will damage him and mop up extra enemies. At the same time, Soldier 76 can use his ultimate to cause the little bit of extra damage needed, or for mopping up extra enemies and Zombadiers. Soldier 76 should also put his health down in case Roadhog gets up and starts attacking. Keep your distance from Roadhog at all costs. Be efficient when taking him down.
    • Junkrat (Dr. Junkenstein) - 1:45 & 0:00 - He can be quite deadly, so watch out for his grenades and keep moving. Hanzo and Solider 76 should try to ultimate him causing good damage as soon as he spawns. Hanzo should then focus on headshots, and Soldier 76 should mop up and use his double helix to help take him out. McCree will use his ultimate for Junkrat's first instance only after Reaper spawns 10 seconds later to take out both bosses.
    • Mercy/Reaper/Roadhog - 0:00 - Put everything you've learned together. Have McCree move to a point where he sees all bosses at once if possible. Ana should put Roadhog to sleep and ult McCree. McCree will use his ultimate as long as possible to hit all bosses if possible. Hanzo can ult up the middle to help out and then can focus on Junkrat going for headshots. Soldier 76 should ult to help out with mopping up bosses. If done correctly, Mercy will be dead very quickly, and Roadhog should have little health. At this point, the priority is to stay alive, keep moving, and stay away from Roadhog. As a team, focus fire on a boss to take them out and then kill whoever is left to end the round. If you recharge your ultimate at any point, use it. Staying alive and keeping the door safe is priority here. Once all bosses are killed, the round ends.

DLC: Sombra

There are 2 achievements with a total of 30 points

  • Hack 15 enemies without dying as Sombra in Quick or Competitive Play.

Sombra's Hack move disables the enemies abilities for 6 seconds. The range on the move is quite far to, being around 15m. Combing the range of Hack and then mixing in her Stealth/Translocator moves will make this a lot easier. Although you EMP ultimate is a glorified version of Hack, it does not count towards the achievement. It has to be done with the Hack move.

Throw your Translocator down in a good hidden spot, now run towards the enemy while using your Stealth move. Making sure you don't get revealed, try and sneak behind the enemy lines and even a player if possible. With some time still left on your Translocator, find your target, use Hack and then teleport back to your Translocators position. Repeat this for the good safe method but you can also hang back with your team and while trying to hack from a distance.

  • Hack 5 enemies at once as Sombra in Quick or Competitive Play.

The only way this is possible is by using Sombra's ultimate EMP which is just a bigger area effect version of Hack. For this, you're going to need to play the waiting game. The range on this ultimate is the same as Hack (15m), it goes through all objects but it's done by an area effect bubble, so anything within that bubble and range will be hacked of their abilities.

There's two ways to do this. The first is by having a teammate like Zarya use her ultimate at the right time, so that hopefully the enemy team are bunched up and ready for your EMP. Any people outside of it, will hopefully still be close enough to get his by the EMP. The other is being on a map where the objective has to be captured. These maps attract playings because to either win or unlock a payload the point has to be captured, so players are more likely to bunch up. Remember to use your Stealth/Translocator moves to get you the advantage of getting close to the enemy without dying.

DLC: Winter Wonderland 2016

There are 4 achievements with a total of 60 points

  • Kill 3 enemies while they are picking up snow in a game of Mei's Snowball Offensive.

Throughout the map, you'll see small piles of snow on the ground in random locations. If you've fired your snowball (be it a hit or miss), then you'll need to reload by finding on of these. The reloading of your weapon takes about 3 seconds and you have to stay still for the whole time for the reload to take effect.

The best way to to this is to find an enemy player or some of the team and either be lucky to not get hit - use your ice wall/block moves - or hope they don't have ammo and are looking for the snow piles. You could also be lucky and simply stumble across someone reloading as you turn a corner. Once you're in this situation, head up to the other player, make sure you have that one shot in your barrel and then shoot and hit them.

This does not have to be done all in one round. You'll have a total of 3-5 rounds to attempt this depending on the team scores, so just keep your eye out and make it your only priority.

  • Kill 4 enemies without missing in Mei's Snowball Offensive.

This can be tricky but the safest way to get this is to either hit someone who is reloading or making sure you're close and not taking those long shots. Make your shots count and don't risk it if you don't have to. Remember you'll have a total of 3-5 rounds to attempt this depending on team scores. So if this means you only take one shot in one round, then do it.

  • Win Mei's Snowball Offensive without losing a round.

Taking the above into account, this comes down to skill, luck and your team. Pick your shots well and don't potshot into the distance because you'll probably get picked off while reloading. Remember to use your ice wall/block to help escape and dodge the enemy and their snowballs. To win the game you'll need to win 3 rounds.

  • Whap!

    15

Kill an enemy with a snowball from 25 meters away in Mei's Snowball Offensive.

There's no way of telling how far 25m is in the game but there's two ways to attempt this. First being at the start of the round. Head up the slope to your left or right depending on starting point and hope another enemy player is thinking the same. The distance from your platform to their side is roughly the distance you'll need. If all goes to plan, aim up, shoot and hope it hits the other player.

The second, is catching someone off guard reloading from a distance. If you spot them and have a clear shot, aim and shoot. Feel free to line yourself up and start walking backwards to create extra distance just in case you're not sure. Remember though, a reload is about 3 seconds long, so you don't have all the time in the world.

DLC: Year of the Rooster

There are 2 achievements with a total of 30 points

  • Win Capture the Rooster with a score of 3 to 0.

For this to go your way, you're either going to need a group of people who know what they're doing and full team of the right players. This is now a little more tricky, as with the release of 'Year of the Dog', you can no longer use your powers to your advantage, but this shouldn't hinder you in winning 3-0.

You can have a mix of people defending and attacking but I'd also make sure you have flag capture protectors as well. For the positions listed, the best options are the following:

    Defence

    • Torbjorn
    • Bastion
    • Symmetra

    Attack (Killing/Distraction)

    • Soldier: 76
    • Parah
    • Junkrat
    • McCree
    • Reaper

    Capturing Flag

    • Tracer
    • Lucio
    • Sombra

  • Recover a flag in a game of Capture the Rooster.

Once your teams flag has been captured, you'll be notified and the flag icon on your HUD will start moving in the direction it's been taken by the enemy team. All you have to do it catch up or find them and get the kill. Once that player is downed, the flag will drop in on the floor in their position and be ready for you to return it.

Simply head over onto it and stay within it's small capture area for 4-5 seconds while the return circle fills up. Once it's filled, the flag will return and spawn back at your base.

DLC: Orisa

There are 2 achievements with a total of 30 points

  • Knock an enemy to their death using Orisa's Energy Javelin in Quick or Competitive Play.

Orisa's ultimate, Supercharge, is an item that allows anyone within range to get a 50% damage dealt increase. It lasts for around 16 seconds, so during this time you and your teammates will need to do 900 single damage before the your ultimate runs out or is destroyed. The only way that this can really be achievement is by linking it to one of your teammates ultimate's which will net you the best result.

Remember to listen out for your teammates ultimate battle cries or if possible, voice chat with them so that you can coordinate between yourselves. Try and place your Supercharge in a position where is can't be destroyed easily by the enemy but is also in a spot that can link to your team without being blocked. Placing your Barrier down to protect it and your team is a good method as well as using your Halt move to bunch the enemy up which will increase the likely hood of greater damage from a single person.

  • Kill 3 enemies with a single use of Orisa's Terra Surge in Quick or Competitive Play.

This can be unlocked in the same way to the "Overclocked" achievement, but just without having to use your Supercharge ultimate (though you can get both in one go). Similar to the above, your best best it to link this with another players ultimate which can deal a lot of damage in one go - D.VA is your best bet. It's the only way you'll be able to deal that much damage in one go.

The way to use Halt is to launch it into a group of enemy players or the general area. As the Halt bubble goes towards them, look out for the green links that come out from it. Every link means it's attached to another player and can pull them in. Once you've got enough players ready to pull in, use Halt again to stop the bubble and all enemy players will be pulled into the centre. Combining this with an ultimate is the best way to guarantee that the enemy players re bunched up and the 1000 damage will hopefully be dealt.

DLC: Summer Games 2017

  • Score a goal, a save, and an assist in a game of Lúcioball.

Pretty straightforward, but depending on how the game is going and your team, it could take a few tries. Here are some tips:

    • Goal: When you're looking at the ball and about to hit it, don't aim straight but look up a little. Doing so will launch the ball into the air meaning the other team will have to jump up high for it which makes it harder for them to hit and save. Don't be afraid to melee the ball to if your primary attack is recharging. Remember to use your ultimate to your advantage and get across into prime positions fast and before the opposition.
    • Save: Just stay in goal for the whole game until the announcer says "SAVE!" 3 times. Remember you're standing on a launch pad when in goal, so be careful not to jump when the ball is rolling on the floor.
    • Assist: You must be the last person to touch the ball before a team member scores. I'd try and stay in the back of the pitch, maybe the middle and hope you have another team player higher up than you. Now just keep looking up and launch the ball in the air and hope they get a goal.
  • Score 3 saves in a row in Lúcioball.

Like the above, just stay in goal for as long as it takes to get three saves. You have to be within the launch pad attached to the goal area for this to count. Remember that the announcer has to say "SAVE!" for it to count.

  • Volley

    15

Score a goal in Lúcioball with a shot taken from at least 3 meters in the air.

There's two ways to get three metres or higher in the game and that is to either jump off one of the launch pads or wall ride. Both do require a bit of skill when also trying to hit the ball and then score. The best way to go about it is to simply hover around the launch pads and hope that the ball comes your way.

Personally the best place to hang is within your goals launch pad area. This is one place you know the ball is going to come from the other team. Once the ball has been launched by the other team, jump off the launch pad then hit and return the ball in the direction of the oppositions goal. You'll be surprised how easy it is to score from the other end of the pitch.

  • Trap the Yeti as a Hunter in Yeti Hunter.

As Mei's you have everything you normally would to help "capture" the Yeti. Though her ultimate is now a Yeti Trap which you can place down - think of it as the exact same as Junkrats. Play the round as normal and as you bump into a find the Yeti player, attack him to gain some of your ultimate bar until it's full.

There's now a few ways to attempt this. The first being to simply wait and hope the Yeti player attacks you so that he is close enough and more likely to land in your trap when placed. Your best option is to wait for this moment, let them get close and as he is heading towards you and close and then place the trap down hoping that he simply walks into it.

Another, is to drop the trap over one of the meat spawn locations. As the Yeti is going to want to be in rage form to survive the Mei attacks, this will the most common spots they'll go, thus increasing your chances to trapping him. There's no perfect location, but look around and find a meat spawn that feels out of the way where the Yeti would use cover.

The final way is if the Yeti drops his bubble shield. They'll most likely be using this as protection and be inside it, so quickly run in, drop it and hope he again walks over it.

  • Eat 4 meat as the Yeti in Yeti Hunter.

The Yeti meat spawns all over the map but they are in set locations. The spawn rates just vary once the game begins but you can easily find and eat 4 within the first minute of the game starting. Just look out for the little fire pits scattered about the map. Some will have a circular timer letting you know how long until the meat spawns, while the others will have a hunk of meat floating above it.

Once a piece of meat has spawned, the location of it will show up on your HUD in red indicating it has spawned.
