Introduction:
Welcome to Vampire Survivors, a very minimalistic dodge-em-up roguelite game. If you've heard good things about this game, don't be put off by the old school graphics - this game has a lot of fun to offer and can be very addicting (as is the case with the roguelite loop in many games). The gameplay is one of the simplest there is: all you do is move with the left thumbstick. All your weapons activate automatically, so you're mainly dodging enemies and picking up drops as far as gameplay. That being said, there are many characters to unlock, each with their own weapon and traits, there are lots of weapons and items to unlock, evolutions to discover, secret stages and bosses to find and beat, and more. There is a solid amount of content here, so let's get started.

Abbreviated Walkthrough:
Before getting into the walkthrough, I just want to say up front that nothing is missable, and most achievements will come with natural progression. Feel free to just jump right into this game make a ton of progress yourself, then consult specific achievements to see how to unlock them, where to find relics, what evolutions you're missing, etc. Candybox (5G) has a completed Grimoire showing all weapon and item combinations and evolutions, Queen Sigma (100G) has the entire Collection, and Cappella Magna (5G) lists out the best build (in my opinion) in the game. Those will be your main things to consult, as well as where to find certain relics (each relic has an identical achievement name). The rest of this walkthrough just talks about things in more detail with some guidance on being efficient.

Step 1: Unlock Stuff, Collect Relics, Buy Upgrades, Open Coffins
As dumb as it sounds, start off by just playing the game. As you do various things naturally while playing, such as leveling up, surviving, leveling up weapons, etc., you'll unlock more stuff, allowing you to survive longer, level up new weapons, etc. The main thing you want to do here is collect relics once you get past the first stage (immediately move on to the next stage when you unlock it) in each new stage you unlock. The Grimoire will help you track weapons and how to evolve them, but the Milky Way Map is by far the handiest, to see where everything is on the map of every stage. Most important of the relics though, is the Randomazzo found on Stage 4, Gallo Tower. Once you unlock that stage, make it a priority to go north on that map and grab this relic. The reason is that getting this relic, for one, opens up many more achievements in the game that you can unlock, but two, enables the use of Arcana cards, which add extra benefits to your run, making it way easier to survive.

The other main thing to do here is to get as much money as possible (you'll really only be getting it from treasure chests initially) so you can buy upgrades between runs. Top priorities should be:

  • Damage
  • Cooldown
  • Extra amount
  • Area
Don't bother with the extra money and XP, and avoid the Curse entirely. Their benefits aren't worth it early on.

Lastly, once you get the Map relic, make sure to open the coffin in every stage (indicated by an obvious question mark on your map). Each gives you a new character. The coffin in the first stage, Mad Forest, unlocks Pugnala, who is probably the best regular character in the game. Her starting weapon is great, and she has a great passive trait as well. Once you unlock her, feel free to use her to keep progressing.

You'll likely spend an hour or two in this step, just getting better at what you're doing and moving on to each level.

Step 2: Start "Beating" Stages
By the time you've gotten enough upgrades bought and weapons/items unlocked such that you're making it to level 60 and unlocking Gallo Tower, you're likely strong enough to start surviving until the end of the first stage, the 30 minute mark. Head back to the first stage and start working on surviving until the end. You really only need to get to the 25 minute mark for the boss to appear, then beat the boss. This unlocks a secret stage and the Hyper version of that stage (there is no need to play Hyper mode for any achievements). Do this on the first four stages, which will be progressively harder, with Gallo Tower being the toughest. Once you're strong enough to get to the boss of Gallo Tower and beat it, you'll unavoidably get to level 80 and finally unlock the final, fifth stage.

To start surviving longer, you're going to need to make the transition from the weapons that originally seemed better for getting going in a level, to ones that are much better in the long term for huge swarms. For example, the following weapons likely seemed good initially to help kill off enemies when you start levels:

  • Whip
  • Magic Wand
  • Knives
These weapons and their evolutions are absolutely terrible for long term survival. They don't do much damage and only hit a small amount of enemies at once. You instead need to start using weapons that don't seem great initially, but their max level and evolutions are amazing for swarms of enemies:

  • Santa Water
  • King Bible
  • Axes
It might be a little rougher getting going with those weapons, since you won't be able to attack enemies directly, but once you get a few levels on the Water and Bible, you can just let enemies come to you and die.

Step 3: Collect the Rest of the Relics, Get the Final Fireworks
At this point, you should have most or all of the bonus stages unlocked. Now you should go through them, survive until the end if you can (the first three aren't any more challenging than the first three normal stages), but focus on getting the relics in each. Your goal here is to unlock The Eudaimonia Machine (5G), which is the name of the final secret stage. Refer to that achievement for getting all of the relics you need.

The hardest part of this step, and possibly the hardest part of this completion, is getting the Great Gospel at the end of the fifth stage, Cappella Magna. I cover this in Game Killer (10G). This will require the best build and gameplay you can muster to make it to the end of this challenging stage and beat the final boss. The good news is that completing it not only gets the hardest achievement out of the way, it unlocks the best relic, the Great Gospel, which lets you limit break your weapons (i.e. level them up beyond max level), making it far easier to survive longer for all achievements you have left.

Once you get all the relics and unlock the secret stage The Eudaimonia Machine, refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) for getting all of the rewards out of it, and then beating the final boss there.

Step 4: Reach the 31 Minute Mark on Normal Stages, Survive to the "End" of Bonus Stages, Get Candybox (5G)
Now that you've unlocked Endless Mode from The Eudaimonia Machine, you can knock out the few achievements related to reaching 31 minutes in each normal stage. Despite what you may read online and various other sources, you DO NOT need to defeat Red Death to unlock these achievements. Not only that, but you DO NOT need to defeat Red Death for ANY achievements. It does unlock Red Death as a character, who is quite strong, but is not necessary for anything. Refer to XX - Silent Old Sanctuary (5G) for how to easily reach the 31 minute mark on the first four stages.

For the bonus stages, you just need to reach the end of them, if you haven't already. Those should all be quite easy to do at this point. The main thing to focus on while doing these achievements is to finish off any remaining weapon evolutions and unifications you're missing to unlock Candybox (5G). Refer to that achievement for a screenshot of the completed Grimoire to see all the combinations you need to make. Make it a point to do one or two in each run just to wrap up whatever you're missing, so that you unlock the Candybox as soon as you can.

Step 5: Complete the Collection, Mop Up Arcana and Miscellaneous Achievements
First and foremost, while you're mopping up the rest of your achievements in the Unlocks list on the main menu, keep on the lookout for the Candybox in every run. This is the rarest weapon in the game, and the only way to add it to the Collection is to find it during a run. If you see it during a run, grab it immediately no matter what else you were working on, because you don't want to be stuck doing runs at the end just to try to find this very rare drop.

The rest of this step will likely consist of you going through your Unlocks menu to take care of the rest of the items there. You'll probably have a ton of Arcana cards left to unlock (getting characters to level 50). You can check your Collection on the main menu whenever you want and compare it to my screenshots in Queen Sigma (100G). Use that to see what else you're missing in the collection and to take care of it.

This will be a long step since there are a lot of achievements and items to add to the Collection. Once you're finally done, you'll unlock Queen Sigma, the strongest character in the game.

Step 6: Victory Lap
With Queen Sigma unlocked, you should only have one achievement left, for getting 100,000 kills in one run while playing as her. Load up any stage, turn on Endless Mode to be safe, jack up the curse during the level to increase the number of enemies, and watch how powerful you can get. Once you get 100,000 kills, you may just need to quit because you'll likely never die. That'll get your last achievement and wrap up this completion.

Tiny Update DLC

This title update adds to relatively simple achievements. The first, for banishing ten weapons/items in a run, is something you'll need to first unlock all five "Banish" achievements for, but then it's simple enough to do right at the start of a run. However, it's also quite easy to combine with the second achievement: getting to level 80 in Inverse Mode Gallo Tower. You'll unlock Inverse Mode when you get Gracia's Mirror during the base game completion. Load up Gallo Tower, turning on Inverse Mode, and use your strongest character with your best build. If you have Queen Sigma at this point, getting to level 80 in Gallo Tower will be a piece of cake. To ensure you get the build you want, you can banish stuff you don't want, and can easily banish ten things in this run to get Seal (5G) along the way to getting Tiny Bridge (10G). So, a single run should be plenty to knock out both of these DLC achievements.

Legacy of the Moonspell DLC

The first paid DLC (only $1.99!) brings with it a new level, new characters, new weapons, and new Arcana, as well as 17 new achievements. The achievements themselves will look very similar to base game ones in that they involve surviving 15 minutes with each of the new characters, evolving each of the new weapons, and completing the usual tasks on the new level of opening the coffin, beating the boss, and collecting a new weapon on the map.

However, one important thing to note here is that you actually need to follow a set progression to unlock everything in this DLC, because you don't start with any new characters or weapons or anything, just the new stage. So, start up the new stage, Mt Moonspell, but bring your strongest character and build because it's pretty intense. Your goals in this first run are to open the coffin in the northeast part of the stage for Miang (5G), to collect the Night Sword in the north of the map for Night Sword (5G), and to survive until 25 minute and beat the boss that appears for Hyper Mt.Moonspell (5G). It should be simple enough to do all three in one run since the coffin and Night Sword are pretty close to each other on the map. Opening the coffin unlocks the first new character, Miang Moonspell, and now you can start the following progression for achievements:

  • Survive 15 minutes with Miang on any stage and evolve her starting weapon. The latter unlocks Menya
  • Survive 15 minutes with Menya on any stage, but play with Endless Mode turned on, and evolve her starting weapon. Don't stop until you reach 100,000 kills, then quit out. Evolving her starting weapon unlocks Syuuto
  • Survive 15 minutes with Syuuto on any stage, but play with Endless Mode turned in, and evolve his starting weapon. Don't stop until you reach 100,000 kills, then quit out. Evolving his starting weapon unlocks Babi-Onna
  • Survive 15 minutes with Babi-Onna on any stage and evolve his starting weapon. Quit out once you've done both. The latter unlocks McCoy-Oni
  • Survive 15 minutes with McCoy-Oni, then quit out. There's no evolution of his starting weapon
  • Load up the new DLC stage and head to the northwest corner of the map where the Attractorb is on your map, and you'll reach a frozen lake. This is the best spot to farm Kappas. Hang out in that area getting kills until you've gotten a solid 10-15k in that area. That should be plenty to ensure you killed 6000 Kappa for the achievement. Doing so also unlocks the final character, Gav'Et-Oni
  • Start any stage with Gav'Et-Oni and just evolve his starting weapon, quitting out when you're done. That should be your last achievement

That's the quickest and most efficient way to knock out all the achievements in this DLC. For quick reference for how to evolve the new weapons, here's how:

  • Silver Wind + Level 5 Pummarola = Festive Wind
  • Four Seasons + Level 5 Candelabrador + Level 5 Spinach = Godai Shuffle
  • Summon Night + Level 5 Duplicator = Echo Night
  • Mirage Robe + Level 5 Attractorb = J'Odore
  • Mille Bolle Blu + Level 5 Spellbinder = Boo Roo Boolle
  • Night Sword + Level 5 Stone Mask = Muramasa

That's it for this DLC. Refer to the guide if you need any specifics for any achievements.

The Chaotic One DLC

This free title update brings with it a new stage, two unlocks, and three new achievements. To access the new stage, Bat Country, you'll need to start by unlocking EXTRA: Bat Country (10G). If you've already completed the base game, this will be a piece of cake. Start a run with Sigma, turn on Hurry, Hyper, Inverse, Arcana, Limit Break, and Endless, and you should hit level 80 by around the 12-minute mark. Meeting that achievement's requirements also unlock the extra stage Bat Country. Once you have it unlocked, start a run on Bat Country. There's nothing difficult about this stage; it's just all bats, with a little extra twist that you'll discover for yourself when you start it up. You'll need to survive until the 9-minute mark and then the 18-minute mark for EXTRA: Apoplexy (5G) and EXTRA: Chaos Malachite (5G), respectively. At each minute mark, you'll see a green arrow pop up on the screen pointing toward a new item that spawned. Simply head to the arrow and touch the item to collect it. Once you've gotten the item at 9 minutes and the second item at 18 minutes, that wraps up this short title update.

Tides of the Foscari DLC

The second paid DLC (only $1.99 as well) brings with it a new level, new characters, and new weapons, as well as 21 new achievements. The achievements themselves will look very similar to base game ones in that they involve surviving 15 minutes with each of the new characters, evolving each of the new weapons, and completing the usual tasks on the new level of opening the coffin and beating the boss. If you're going by Unlocks in-game, remember that stuff doesn't show up on that list until it's obtainable (i.e. until you unlock the characters and levels needed first), so don't be alarmed if you don't have a full list of Unlocks for this DLC when you start it.

Like with the 'Legacy of the Moonspell' DLC, an important thing to note here is that you actually need to follow a set progression to unlock everything in this DLC, because you don't start with any new characters or weapons or anything, just the new stage. So, here is the order you need to do things to unlock all achievements:

  1. Start up the new stage, Lake of Foscari, but bring your strongest character and build (Sigma, obviously). Your goals in this first run are to open the coffin in the northwest part of the stage for Eleanor Uziron (5G) and to survive until 25 minutes and beat the boss that appears for Hyper Lake Foscari (5G). Opening the coffin unlocks the first new character, Eleanor Uziron. The other thing you can do is spend most of your 25 minutes in this stage in the area where Sammies are, to also unlock Happy Birthday (5G). Refer to that achievement for their location. Doing that now as well will not only be very easy, playing as Sigma, but also will save you another 20-30-minute run later.
  2. Survive 15 minutes with Eleanor on any stage and evolve (unite) her starting weapon. The latter unlocks Maruto, the second character
  3. Survive 15 minutes with Maruto on any stage and evolve his starting weapon. Evolving his starting weapon unlocks Keitha
  4. Play the new stage, Lake of Foscari, with Keitha. Head to the northeast to find the Seal. Evolve her starting weapon again, and use it to break the seal for Abyss Foscari (5G) and a new level with the same name. Refer to that achievement solution for additional help. Once you break the seal and access the new stage, you can just quit out or die. You can't really do anything achievement-related on that stage, even though it starts automatically
  5. Play this new stage, Abyss Foscari, with Maruto. Evolve his starting weapon once again and head to the question mark on the map (straight down until you're even with it horizontally, then head left). Once you get to the seal with your evolved weapon, break it open to unlock Luminaire Foscari (5G) and a new character of the same name. With the seal broken, go ahead and quit the run
  6. Play Abyss Foscari again, but with Eleanor this time. Once again evolve (unite) her starting weapon, and head to the question mark on your map (it's a new one). To get to it, head straight down and then west, just like going to the previous seal, but head west past it until you can go north again, and you should be able to head right up into it. With her evolved starting weapon, hang out near the seal to eventually break it and unlock Genevieve Gruyère (5G) and the associated new character. Breaking this seal also immediately triggers a boss fight, which can be beaten now to also unlock Hyper Abyss Foscari (5G). Refer to that achievement for more tips
  7. Load up Abyss Foscari with the new character, Genevieve. You likely still need 6000 Rotting Ghouls. They are only in the Abyss level, so this is a good time to take care of it. On this run, make sure you use Endless Mode if you haven't already been. Evolve her starting weapon like usual, and then the goal here is to kill 100,000 enemies in a single run. It'll take a while but shouldn't be challenging at this point in the game. You will unavoidably kill 6000 Rotting Ghouls over the course of your 100,000 kills, so that takes care of those two longer achievements.
  8. With that done, all that should be left is a bit of mop up. You'll need to survive 15 minutes as Luminaire and evolve her starting weapon if you haven't already. If you're still missing anything else, refer to the achievement guide to see how to quickly get them.

That's the quickest and most efficient way to knock out all the achievements in this DLC. For quick reference for how to evolve the new weapons, here's how:

  • SpellString + SpellStream + SpellStrike = SpellStrom
  • Eskizzibur + Level 5 Armor = Legionnaire
  • Flash Arrow + Level 5 Bracer + Level 5 Clover = Millionaire
  • Prismatic Missile + Level 5 Crown = Luminaire
  • Shadow Servant + Level 5 Skull O' Maniac = Ophion

That's it for this DLC. Refer to the guide if you need any specifics for any achievements.

The Whimsy One DLC

This small title update includes a single achievement for banishing 20 weapons in one game. Simply load up a game with Sigma (feeling free to play on the first stage on the easiest difficulty levels), and then just banish 20 things in a row as you level up. Despite the description saying weapons, all items and weapons count towards this. The only real way to track how many you've banished is just to see how many Banishes Sigma starts with, and subtract off 20. Once you've done it, you can quit the game to unlock your achievement.

Overwhelming Update DLC

Note: Two achievements in this free update require paid content to unlock: Mt.Moonspell Map (5G) requires the Legacy of the Moonspell paid DLC, and Lake Foscari Map (5G) requires Tides of the Foscari paid DLC.

This free update adds a new stage and a few new relics. If you've already completed the base game and unlocked Sigma, this will be a very short DLC completion. Here is all you need to do (in any order you prefer):

  • The new stage, 'Astral Stair', has three relics to collect, and that's it. Refer to EXTRA: Astral Stair Map (5G) for a map of this stage, since it can be a bit confusing at first. With Sigma (or any powerful character) you can essentially ignore enemies and just go to each relic to collect them. Once you have all three, you can quit out to unlock those three achievements.
  • Load up 'Inlaid Library', make sure inverse is turned on, and use Sigma. You can also turn on Hyper and Hurry to speed this up. You just need to reach level 80, which should only take around 10-12 in-game minutes. Once you hit level 80, quit out to unlock EXTRA: Astral Stair (5G).
  • Load up 'Mt. Moonspell' (paid DLC needed) and collect the map relic that is now available. Mt.Moonspell Map (5G) shows where this is located and how to reach it. Once you pick it up, quit out to unlock the achievement.
  • Load up 'Lake Foscari' (paid DLC needed) and collect the map relic that is now available. Lake Foscari Map (5G) shows where this is located and how to reach it. Once you pick it up, quit out to unlock the achievement.

And that's it for this free update. Using Sigma, you can knock out all of these achievements in 20 minutes or so.

Whiteout Update DLC

This free title update adds a new level and a new weapon, as well as a new Upgrade item to collect and add to the Upgrade menu. Like most other DLCs, there is a specific "path" you'll need to follow to unlock all achievements:

  • Assuming you've done all other DLCs and the base game, load up Tiny Bridge as Sigma (or any strong character) and head all the way left (following the green arrow) until you get to the egg-like item pretty far over. Pick it up, then you can end your game. That'll unlock EXTRA: Chaos Altemanna (5G), and presuming you've already collected well over 20 Orologions during your time with this game before this update, you'll also retroactively unlock EXTRA: Whiteout (5G), which unlocks the new level Whiteout as well
  • Start up the new level Whiteout with Sigma (or your best character), and turn on Hurry and Hyper modes if you're confident and want to speed this part up. You can also choose Mad Groove as your first Randomazzo card to save a bit of time. When the level starts, you'll want to get the new spear-like weapon on the map. If you use Mad Groove, it'll immediately pull to you and be to your right as you start. Pick it up, and this is the new weapon, the Glass Fandago. You now need to play until the 20-minute mark. Along the way, also grab the Wings item from the map, and then level up the Glass Fandago to level 8 and the Wings to level 5. Opening a chest will then allow the Glass Fandango to evolve to the Celestial Voulge (frankly, a pretty epic weapon)
  • Lastly, follow the green arrow south to the Antidote, also marked on your map. Head into the cave where it is and pick it up

And that's it for this completion. A quick 2-minute run of Tiny Bridge to get the new relic there, and then survive until the 20-minute mark on Whiteout, collecting the Antidote and evolving the Glass Fandango along the way. That'll wrap up this completion.

Space-54 DLC

This title update introduces a new map, two new weapons, a new character, and a new relic. The completion is pretty quick if you've already managed to kill 161616 bats over your time with this game. If you haven't already gotten five Gold Fingers, load up Astral Stair and grab them there (there are five on the map) to unlock EXTRA: Space 54 (5G) and the new map. Now, load up Boss Rash (and turn on Hurry mode to speed this up), and grab the Atlas Gate that appears in the center of the arena (it appeared for me at 8 minutes) to unlock EXTRA: Adventures (5G). Now you can get all of the rest of the achievements in your final level. Start a run on Space 54 (using Sigma, obviously, and Hurry to speed this up). If you've already killed 161616 bats to unlock EXTRA: Pako Battiliar (5G), make sure to select to Pako Battliliar as one of your weapons. Just above you when you spawn is the Phaser weapon you can pick up. Do so to make it one of your weapons. Now you'll also want to get the Hollow Heart and Empty Tome items. Max out the levels of all four (Pako Battiliar, Phaser, Hollow Heart, and Empty Tome), and then you can evolve each new weapon with chests. Lastly, at 18 minutes you'll see a green arrow appear on the HUD pointing to the Brave Story relic. Head to it and grab it. Now just stay alive until you hit the 20-minute mark. At that point you can end your run and unlock all remaining achievements, wrapping up this completion.

Laborratory DLC

This free title update adds a new stage, new weapon and evolution, new accessory, and new powerup, as well as seven new achievements. As with other DLC, there is a little bit of a path to follow for this one. First, you need to actually unlock the new level by cumulative collecting 33 Rosaries to unlock EXTRA: Laborratory (5G). If you've played all other content, you probably already have enough. Start a run on any stage and immediately quit to force the game to check and unlock that achievement. Now start up a run on Laborratory with Sigma and turn on Hurry mode to speed things up. You can get all remaining achievements in this single run. The main thing to be aware of is EXTRA: Seal III (5G) for banishing 40 things. You obviously need to do this before filling up all six weapon slots and six accessory slots, so make it a point to banish things constantly.

Now, while in the stage, there are a few things to do. This is a horizontal level with almost no vertical movement. Along the top of the level are continual automatic glass doors. Head inside one and flip the lever(s) to spawn an item. You're looking for Arma Dio for one achievement and Santa Javelin for another. Maybe I got incredibly lucky, but those are the first two items I got. Once you have them, leave one weapon slot and one accessory slot open so you can banish mostly everything else. With Sigma, you need to get down to 78 Banishes remaining to know you used 40. Lastly, along the bottom of the map is a train track, and levers are placed periodically to activate it. The levers reset, so just cycle back and forth between two to keep using them on enemies. You need to do over 25,000 damage with the train and there's no way to track damage, so just use it a solid ten times, especially on bosses. And finally, you need to evolve the Santa Javelin (done with a level 5 Clover) and survive to 20 minutes (easy with Sigma). Once you hit 20 minutes, assuming you've evolved the Javelin and gotten down to 78 Banishes remaining, quit the run to unlock all remaining achievements.

Overall Conclusion:
Vampire Survivors is an absolute blast of a game. It starts off a bit slower, like pretty much every roguelite game, but you'll quickly find yourself getting stronger and stronger, and swarms of enemies that seemed absurd and insurmountable quickly become nonissues as you blast through massive mobs in seconds. Beyond the admittedly massive list of achievements, there are many other secret characters to unlock, some with their own weapons, that you can continue to check out after the completion. Hopefully you enjoyed your time with this game, and hopefully we get a bunch more content down the road.

There are 211 achievements with a total of 1575 points

  • Reach Level 5.

Refer to Crown (5G) for more information.
  • Reach Level 10.

Leveling up is done by collecting blue (and eventually green and red) crystals that enemies sometimes drop after killing them. You'll essentially need to lure enemies around in circles, more or less, so that you can circle back and pick up the crystals they dropped, allowing you to level up. Once you reach level 10 in a single game, this will unlock. Leveling up to level 10 is a pretty low goal compared to other achievements, so you will likely even get this in your first or second game.

  • Get Magic Wand to Level 7.

Refer to Spellbinder (5G) for more information.
  • Get Peachone to Level 7.

Refer to Spellbinder (5G) for more information.
  • Get Runetracer to Level 7.

All of the achievements related to leveling up weapons and items require you to level up in a run and/or collect treasure chests dropped by special enemies/minibosses. You then need to rely on some luck that the weapon/item you want to level up keeps on showing up as one of your options each time you get a choice. Focus on one or two items/weapons each run to ensure you can level them up enough to unlock their respective achievements before you die.
  • Hold 6 different weapons at once.

As the description says, each time you level up or collect a treasure chest, pick a different weapon instead of leveling one up. Once you unlock enough weapons, you'll be using six different weapons in every run.
  • Destroy 20 light sources.

This must be done in one run. Light sources are, for example, torches in the first stage, and you'll find them dotted around the map. You'll need to line up whatever weapon(s) you currently have to destroy them. They only take a hit or two, and they always drop some sort of resource, so it's in your best interest to destroy them anyway. After destroying 20 in a run (which will likely happen without you even trying to do so), you'll unlock this achievement.
  • Find 5 Floor Chickens.

This must be done in one run. Floor chickens (horribly worded, I know) are the cooked chickens on a platter that sometimes drop from destroying light sources or from enemies rarely. They give you decent health when you pick them up. Pick up five in one run to unlock this achievement. This is another achievement that'll unlock without really trying for it.
  • Find a Little Clover.

Refer to Cross (5G) for more information.
  • Find a Vacuum.

Refer to Cross (5G) for more information.
  • Find an Orologion.

Refer to Cross (5G) for more information.
  • Find a Rosary.

Each of these items to find are little powerups that have a chance to spawn in any level. It's completely random, so just keep on the lookout for items lying on the ground. You'll likely end up getting all of these achievements without trying, since you'll likely be focused on enemies and inadvertently pick up each of these at some point.
  • Defeat a total of 5000 enemies.

Refer to Krochi (10G) for more information.
  • Defeat a total of 3000 Skeletons.

This is cumulative across all runs. Skeletons show up in most levels of the game, and you'll see them as early as the first stage. Once you start being able to survive beyond 10-15 minutes, you'll see significantly more skeletons, and eventually the entire screen will be full of them at one point during the first stage. By the time you're surviving to 20 minutes in the first stage, you'll easily kill 3000 skeletons, possibly in a single run.
  • Survive 20 minutes with any character.

As the description says, this can be done with any character, and it can be on any stage. You likely will need a bunch of powerup upgrades before you're able to survive this long. I highly recommend fully upgrading damage, cooldown, and area of effect, as these three will really help with being able to keep the horde of enemies at bay during runs, especially as you progress past 10-15 minutes and start getting swarmed by stronger enemies. You will likely need to put in a couple hours of gameplay to get money for upgrades and to unlock more weapons, but this will eventually happen naturally, and relatively early in your time with this game, potentially in the first couple hours of gameplay.
  • Defeat the giant Blue Venus in the Mad Forest.

Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for more information.
  • Defeat the Hag in the Inlaid Library.

Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for more information.
  • Reach Level 20 in Mad Forest.

Refer to Cappella Magna (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 5 minutes with Gennaro.

Gennaro is unlocked from the start but will need to be purchased for a couple hundred coins. He starts with a knife, making it relatively easy to get going compared to other characters. Five minutes should pose little problems once you get a few upgrades to damage and get a handful of weapons.
  • Find a Stone Mask.

The first place you'll be able to find and pick up a Stone Mask is on Stage 2. One always spawns on the map on the right side of the level, at the top of the screen. Once you acquire the Milky Way Map relic on Stage 2, you'll get a map when you pause the game. Do so on Stage 2 and you'll be able to see the Stone Mask on the right that you can then track down and pick up.

  • Unlock Hyper mode for 2 normal stages.

Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for more information.
  • Recover a lifetime total of 1000 HP.

This is cumulative across all runs. There are three ways to recover HP during runs:

    • Buy and upgrade the powerup between runs that grants you HP recovery
    • Find and choose the Pummonia item during runs, which grants HP recovery
    • Evolve the Garlic. Its evolution grants life steal every time it hits an enemy
    • Evolve the Whip. Its evolution grants life steal every time it hits an enemy
All of these things will progress this achievement, but you'll find that the first time you evolve the Garlic, you will probably unlock this achievement that same run. The evolved Garlic has a huge radius and steals HP like crazy, so if you haven't unlocked this achievement by then, evolve the Garlic and you'll get this achievement very quickly.
  • Earn 5000 coins in a single run.

While this may initially sound like a huge amount of coins to earn in one run, after a handful of hours of gameplay (getting coins to upgrade stats between runs, and unlocking new weapons and items) you'll find yourself consistently able to survive to the end of stages (the 30-minute mark), Many times when your runs last until 30 minutes, you'll end up earning close to 5000 coins. However, as you fully upgrade your Greed stat, and especially if you get a Stone Mask that run, you'll be far exceeding 5000 coins in each of your runs. In later runs, I would average 8,000 to 10,000 coins per run without actively trying for coins. So just give this one some time until you've gotten most of the permanent stats, and you'll find you're meeting this criteria regularly.
  • Krochi

    10

Defeat a total of 100,000 enemies.

This is cumulative across all runs with all characters.

While 100,000 enemies may sound like a huge amount, after your first couple runs to get your bearings and know what you're doing (plus some upgrades), you'll be killing thousands (and even tens of thousands) of enemies per run, making this achievement one of the earlier ones you'll unlock, actually.

  • Defeat a total of 3000 Lion Heads.

This is cumulative across all runs.

Lion Heads can only be found in the Inlaid Library (Stage 2). They look like pinwheels, but have a lion head in the middle. Initially, it will probably take two or three runs to kill 3000 cumulatively, but ultimately this will come pretty quick and early in the game. Just replay Stage 2 over and over until this unlocks.
  • Lama

    5

Survive 20 minutes with at least +10% Curse.

Note: This achievement does NOT require you to purchase the Curse stat upgrade (although it's not really an upgrade) from the Powerups menu between runs. You don't need to waste money on it, and you don't need to permanently curse yourself.

Aside from the Curse stat upgrade mentioned above, which is a completely viable way to get this achievement, there are a few other ways to unlock it:

    1. Play with a character who starts with at least 10% curse. When you are choosing your character, check the stats for each on the left side and look to see if any characters has a curse that they start with. Numerous characters do. Simply reaching the 20 minute mark with one of them will unlock this achievement.
    2. Unlock Torrona's Box (see Torrona's Box (10G)) and then select it during a run when you level up.
    3. Pick up a Skull O' Maniac powerup from the ground on a stage. There is one northwest of where you start on Stage 1. Having the Milky Way Map will make this much easier to spot.
For the second and third options, you do not need to get the curse and then survive for 20 minutes after getting it. You just need to hit the 20 minute mark with the curse. This means you can wait until 19:59 on the clock and then pick up the item, if you want.

This is cumulative across all runs.

Milk Elementals are only found in the Dairy Plant, Stage 3. They are the white head/blob enemies that show up throughout the first ten minutes or so of the level. You'll likely need at least two or three runs of this level to get this many kills, since they don't show up in huge numbers throughout the entire stage. Just replay the stage as needed until this achievement unlocks at the end of your run.
  • Fill 70 entries in the Collection.

Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for more information.
  • Skip 3

    10

Survive 30 minutes in The Bone Zone.

The Bone Zone is a little different from other stages in that enemies get stronger as time passes. Additionally, there are just far more enemies in this stage than other stages. As a result, you will definitely want to have an optimized build to survive for 30 minutes. Game Killer (10G), which in my opinion is more challenging than this, has a build that I used. If you can get to the 30 minute mark in Cappella Magna, it should be no problem in The Bone Zone.

As with all relics, simply follow the green arrow on screen until you get to the relic, then pick it up.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Concetta.

Refer to Bracelet (5G) for more information.
  • Unlock Hyper mode for 4 normal stages.

Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes in Moongolow.

Each of the Skip achievements is for surviving until the "end" of a bonus stage. Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for unlocking all of the bonus stages.

The first three bonus stages (Molise, Moongolow, and Green Acres) don't have anything special about them that impacts how you play them in any way. The fourth (Bone Zone) and fifth (Boss Rush) are a bit different, and are covered in their own achievement solutions.

Since these aren't really much different from normal levels, all the same strategies apply for surviving until the end of the bonus stage: get your three best evolved weapons (Santa Water, King Bible, and Axes), as well as the evolved Lightning Ring, Spinach, and whatever your starting weapon is, and you shouldn't have any issues surviving until the end of each of the first three bonus stages.

Note: The Yellow Sign relic is obtained in Moongolow by reaching the end of the stage while playing as a normal character. It's therefore most efficient to do your 15-minute run of Moongolow while playing as a non-secret character. My recommendation is Pugnala, as she's fast, strong, and has good starting weapons.
  • Find and buy the Glass Vizard.

This "relic" is located in Moongolow, the second bonus stage. Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for unlocking bonus stages.

Before you can get this relic, you'll need 8000 coins. You don't need to earn that much in a run, you just need that much available between runs. Once you have that much, start up Moongolow with any character, and you'll start right next to the Glass Vizard, who is the merchant. Touch him and then choose the top right option to allow him to show up in any stage, which costs 8000 coins. This unlocks this relic and this achievement.
  • Reach Level 50 with Pasqualina.

Refer to XXI - Blood Astronomia (5G) for more information.
  • Reach minute 31 in the Gallo Tower.

One important thing to point out is that all four achievements for reaching minute 31 can't be unlocked until after you obtain the Randomazzo relic. I'm not sure why that bit of the achievement description was removed in the port over from Steam.

There are two ways to reach the 31 minute mark in a stage: the easy way and the hard way.

    • The Hard Way - This is the way I've seen discussed in most places, and I have no idea why it seems to be the primary method. To do this, you need to survive the attack from Red Death at the 30 minute mark. The only way this is possible is to first obtain the Yellow Sign relic (refer to I can't see anything... (50G) for getting it), then during the stage you're playing, collect the four new items on the map (Silver Ring, Gold Ring, Metaglio Left, and Metaglio Right). You then need to also get the Clock Lancet and Laurel, both of which count as weapons and therefore fill weapon slots. You then need to get all six of those things (both weapon and all four items) to max level, then open chests to evolve the Clock Lancet into the Infinite Corridor and evolve the Laurel into the Crimson Shroud. Now, when Red Death shows up, the Crimson Shroud prevents you from taking much damage, and the Infinite Corridor freezes Red Death and can more easily kill it. However, it is possible to kill Red Death too quickly, ending the run before you reach the 31 minute mark. So, you need to survive, not kill Red Death. As you can imagine, this is quite stressful and challenging to do, and I don't recommend bothering with this method for any reason
    • The Easy Way - First unlock Endless Mode (refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) for doing so). Then, play each stage with Endless Mode turned on. In Endless Mode, once you hit the 30 minute mark the enemies revert back to the start of the stage, but the clock keeps counting up. Simply survive another minute which should be a piece of cake with just the simple starting enemies of a stage, and then you can quit after 31 minutes and get your achievement. This is far, far easier, and definitely the recommended way to get these four achievements for reaching minute 31.
  • Fill 90 entries in the Collection.

Refer to Queen Sigma (100G) for more information.
  • Find the Yellow Sign.

This relic is located in Moongolow, the second bonus stage. Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for unlocking all of the bonus stages.

This relic works much different than the others. You must play Moongolow as a non-secret character and reach the 14-minute mark in the stage. Any of the first few rows of characters will do, but my recommendation is Pugnala. Once you reach the 14-minute mark as a non-secret character, you'll be teleported to a new area, called the Holy Forbidden. It's basically a simple long hallway you need to follow to the end. You lose everything you had from the previous 14 minutes, and just have your basic starting weapon. Enemies don't drop anything along the way, so this is mainly a task of dodging enemies as you progress rather than trying to kill anything. This is another reason I recommended Pugnala, as she has good movement speed.

You have a couple minutes of walking along a winding corridor and dodging enemies to get to the end. Fortunately, if you die, you can select Holy Forbidden on the level select screen to try it again without having to do another 14 minutes in Moongolow. Once you get to the end, the enemies will disappear. Follow the path into the beam to be awarded the Yellow Sign, completing the level and unlocking this achievement.
  • Obtain the Infinite Corridor.

  • Obtain the Crimson Shroud.

Refer to Candybox (5G) for more information.

  • Reach minute 31 in the Mad Forest.

Refer to XII - Out of Bounds (5G) for more information.
  • Hold 6 different weapon evolutions at once.

As the description says, you need to have six evolved weapons at once. Six weapons is the maximum you can have, so in order to do this, you'll obviously need to be playing as a character whose starting weapon can be evolved. You'll then need to carefully pick your weapons and items such that they all pair up for evolutions, and then level up to around level 50-55 to get all six of your weapons to level 8 so they can be evolved.

This can be done on any stage and with any character whose starting weapon can evolve. I recommend playing on Inlaid Library, and you can play as any character in the first few rows. The best weapons to get to ensure survival long enough to evolve your six weapons are definitely:

    • Santa Water + Attractorb
    • Axes + Candelabrador
    • King Bible + Spellbinder
    • Lightning Ring + Duplicator
    • Runetracer + Armor
    • Fire Wand + Spinach
However, feel free to choose the first six weapons offereed to you when you level up, rather than ones on this list. If you need any help remembering which weapons pair with which items, refer to Candybox (5G) for a completed Grimoire of all combinations.
  • Omni

    10

Get Torrona's Box to Level 9.

Refer to Torrona's Box (10G) for actual unlocking that item first. Once you've unlocked it, you need to find it during a run. It adds a little bit of curse but a bunch of buffs as well. The unique thing with Torrona's Box is that it has nine levels instead of eight, and the ninth level (max level) adds a huge amount of extra curse. So, be aware that when you get Torrona's Box to level 9, you're going to need to be quite strong to survive the very buffed enemies you're going to make.
  • Reach Level 80 in the Gallo Tower.

Each normal stage in the game is unlocked by reaching a new level milestone on the previous stage. So, Stage 1 you need to reach level 2, Stage 2 you need to reach level 40, Stage 3 level 60, and so on.

You'll likely find that, when you start the game, you don't struggle much to get up to level 20 and then level 40. Getting to level 60 will likely take a few more upgrades between runs. Getting to level 80 will be the hardest, as it'll require you surviving until close to the 30 minute mark, and Gallo Tower is pretty challenging early on, especially its boss at 25 minutes. To get that far, this is the build I recommend (same as the build you'll see in other achievement solutions):

    • Evolved Santa Water (Santa Water + Attractorb)
    • Evolved Axes (Axes + Candelabrador)
    • Evolved King Bible (King Bible + Spellbinder)
    • Evolved Lightning Ring (Lightning Ring + Duplicator)
    • Evolved Runetracer (Runetracer + Armor)
    • Song of Mana, or starting weapon (not evolved)
    • Spinach
This is a reliable build for pretty much every stage, especially close quarters ones like Inlaid Library, Gallo Tower, and Capella Magna.
  • Find and open the coffin in the Cappella Magna.

Each of the five stages has a coffin to open, and they all work the same way aside from Gallo Tower's (which I'll discuss below). First get the Milky Way Map before attempting to open any coffins. That way, when you start a stage, you can pause and see the coffin marked on your map (it's the big question mark). Then, you'll need to work your way to the question mark. When you get to the coffin, a ring of enemies will spawn around it. You must kill all of these enemies to open the coffin, not just create a path through them. You should therefore level up a bit before heading to the coffin, just to make sure you can quickly kill the surrounding enemies while regular enemies are still swarming you. Once all the enemies are dead surrounding the coffin, walk over it and hit it to open it up and obtain a new character (and the associated achievement).

The only exception to this is the coffin in Gallo Tower. As you head north to the question mark, it'll be off screen out of bounds to the right of the level. To access it, just south of the question mark, on the left side of the map, is a silver mirror hanging on the wall. You need to walk up and into this mirror. You'll be transported to a small side area where the coffin is. Head down to spawn the ring of enemies around it. Now you need to quickly kill those enemies, because you don't have much room to move around, and they gradually pulse outward farther and farther away. It's possible for them to get too far away such that you can't reach them if you take too long to kill them. So, definitely level up a bit before heading through the mirror to ensure you can quickly take out the coffin enemies before they spread too far apart. Then, just open the coffin like normal.

Refer to Candybox (5G) for more information.
  • Defeat the Trinacria in the Cappella Magna.

Refer to Boss Rash (5G) for more information.
  • Defeat a total of 6000 Stage Killers.

This is cumulative across all runs.

Stage Killers only spawn in the last few minutes of Stage 5, Cappella Magna. They are the enemies that look like all of the main starting characters you can play as. It's possible but unlikely you'll get this many kills of these enemies in a single run of this stage, so plan on a solid two (that's how many it took me) runs to the last minute or so of Cappella Magna to get enough cumulative kills on these enemies to unlock this achievement.
  • Reach Level 50 with Porta.

Refer to XXI - Blood Astronomia (5G) for more information.
  • Reach minute 31 in the Dairy Plant.

Refer to XII - Out of Bounds (5G) for more information.
  • Fill 100 entries in the Collection.

Refer to Queen Sigma (100G) for more information.
  • Reach Level 80 with Sir Ambrojoe.

There are five secret characters that each require you to reach level 80 with them. This can be done on any stage, and in my opinion the easiest one is Inlaid Library, Stage 2. Each of these five characters has a unique starting weapon, one that cannot be evolved.

If you want to ensure you reach level 80 with each character, you should unlock and enable Endless Mode just to be safe. Refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) for unlocking Endless Mode. Enable Endless Mode on whichever stage you play just to be safe, so you don't have to worry about Red Death ending your run before you get to level 80.

By this point, you likely already have a build you like to use that'll get you to level 80 without issue, but once again, here is the one I recommend:

    • Evolved Santa Water (Santa Water + Attractorb)
    • Evolved Axes (Axes + Candelabrador)
    • Evolved King Bible (King Bible + Spellbinder)
    • Evolved Lightning Ring (Lightning Ring + Duplicator)
    • Evolved Runetracer (Runetracer + Armor)
    • Starting weapon (not possible to evolve)
    • Spinach
  • Find the Grim Grimoire.

This relic is found in Stage 2. Start up the stage and simply follow the arrow on screen all the way to the relic. Grab it quickly, because very strong enemies will spawn around it and kill you very quickly.
  • Find the Ars Gouda.

This relic is one of two found in Stage 3. Start up the stage and simply follow the arrow on screen all the way to the relic. Grab it quickly, because very strong enemies will spawn around it and kill you very quickly.
  • Find the Great Gospel.

Refer to Game Killer (10G) for more information.
  • Defeat the final enemy in the Cappella Magna.

While the achievement description doesn't specify anymore (it originally did on Steam), this can't be earned until after you obtain the Randomazzo relic. Refer to Randomazzo (10G) for doing so.

This is one of the hardest achievements in the game.

Unlike the other normal stages, the final enemy (aka boss) doesn't show up in Cappella Magna until the 30 minute mark. Surviving until the 30 minute mark is much more challenging than other stages. The main issue is the appearance of the various forms of Death while you're playing this level. Green Death and Purple Death can each randomly show up and just chase after you. You can't damage them, from my experience, and instead just need to avoid them until they leave. Most problematic, however, is Blue Death, who creates an infinitely long damaging barrier below you, preventing you from going south at all. Blue Death continuously ascends, forcing you to constantly retreat north while still fighting enemies like normal. Unlike the others, Blue Death can and should be killed to get rid of the headache it causes. It unfortunately will always dodge you if you try to approach it though, so you're mainly forced to damage it with incidental contact from your weapons. It'll easily take a minute or two to kill it, but the best you can do is continue strengthening yourself so you can move up through enemies without issue while you wait for Blue Death to die.

Things get really intense over the final few minutes, where the screen is just full of boss-level enemies. I recommend the following build:

    • Evolved Santa Water
    • Evolved King Bible
    • Evolved Axes
    • Evolved Lightning Ring
Since your starting weapon likely isn't one of those four above, obviously get it to max level, but consider getting the Spinach instead of whatever would evolve your starting weapon.

For a sixth weapon, there is actually a trick you can use to get nine weapons instead of the max of six: if you've unlocked Glass Vizard (see Glass Vizard (5G)) and have enough money (total outside of your runs, not just within the run), you can wait until you have five weapons, then go to the Vizard and buy all four weapons he sells (Celestial Dusting, La Rumba, Cherry Bomb, and Cavello). Now you can do the normal evolutions above and also get these four weapons to level 8 too. Having nine weapons instead of six will make you far more powerful going into the final minutes of this stage.

Once you hit the 30 minute mark, you'll be transported to a new arena where you'll fight an amalgamation of all of the Death characters. The main challenge with this boss isn't the boss itself (it just throws scythes at you, which are pretty easy to dodge). The challenge are all of the column and rows of beams that can do significant damage to you if you stand in them. They also restrict your movement and arena space, making it harder to dodge the boss's attacks. By this point, you've gotten plenty of firepower, so all you should really be focusing on is dodging the beams and attacks from the boss, letting your weapons do their thing. It'll likely take a couple minutes, but eventually the boss will die, dropping the Great Gospel. Pick it up to unlock Great Gospel (20G) as well as this achievement.
  • Unlock Hyper mode for all 5 normal stages.

Each of the five normal stages (Stage 1 through Stage 5) has a boss that appears at the 25-minute mark. Once you survive that long, a bigger and much stronger enemy will show up. However, the boss itself, other than its size and HP, is no different than a normal enemy, really. They don't have any attacks or anything, so you'll just need to kite it around and avoid it until it finally dies from all of your attacks. It's easiest to just do tight circles around the boss to keep the horde at bay around you while you whittle down the boss's health.

Once it's dead, it'll drop a treasure chest, and you've essentially "beat" the level. Once you end the run, you'll unlock the achievement for beating the boss of that stage, and you'll unlock an achievement for unlocking a Hyper mode version of that stage. You'll need to do this for all five normal stages to unlock this achievement.

If you're struggling to accomplish this, obviously you'll want to first just get enough money from doing runs to upgrade all of your permanent stats between runs. During a run, by far the best three weapons are:

    • Evolved Santa Water
    • Evolved King Bible
    • Evolved Axes
Just having those three evolved together will make you able to resist a significant amount of enemies. You should aim for those three weapon evolutions in every run of every stage. For your other three slots my recommendations are as follows:

    • Evolved Lightning Ring - The best part about this is the Duplicator item you need to get to evolve it. The Duplicator adds extra projectiles for every weapon, making you significantly stronger
    • Evolved Runetracer - This is ideal for narrow stages such as Inlaid Library and Gallo Tower, but not as great for others. It bounces off walls and explodes, so it's great with the nearby walls of those two levels, causing tons of explosions
    • Song of Mana - If you don't want to evolve it because of the curse required to evolve it, at least consider its base form for verical levels, such as Dairy Plant, Gallo Tower, and Capella Magna. This one only shoots vertically, but it's quite strong when leveled up to level 8
    • Spinach - If you aren't set on a fifth or sixth weapon, consider at least getting the Spinach item, as it'll add an extra 50% damage across the board when maxed out
  • Skip 5

    10

Survive 15 minutes in Boss Rash.

Boss Rush works a bit different from the other bonus stages. You're in a small arena, and as expected, bosses will continually come at you. There are normal enemies at times too, to help level up, and as you'd expect, each boss you beat drops a treasure chest, so you can try to evolve weapons too.

The main issue/difficulty with Boss Rush isn't the bosses, because they behave just like normal enemies, so you can just kite them around the arena while you kill them. The main source of difficulty is when the columns and rows of attacks start popping up on screen. These often force you into small tight areas that make it far harder (and sometimes impossible) to dodge enemies, bosses, and projectiles. As a result, one of the best items you can get during this stage is the Laurel, with second being the Pummonia. Being strong is great for taking out bosses, but it doesn't help you recover from the obstacles on screen. The Laurel will provide much needed invincibility as you navigate around the arena, and the Pummonia will accelerate your healing when you inevitably do take damage.

I personally ended up using the Pentagram on my first run, and it took out nearly every boss on screen every time it activated. While it did erase the treasure chests, it also eliminated all enemies, making me just need to focus on dodging the obstacles rather than worry about killing bosses and dodging them. I wouldn't say it's required though, and would more focus on survivability for this stage rather than DPS.
  • Reach Level 50 with Dommario.

Refer to XXI - Blood Astronomia (5G) for more information.
  • Reach Level 50 with Pugnala.

Refer to XXI - Blood Astronomia (5G) for more information.
  • Find the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane.

This relic is found in the Bone Zone, bonus stage 4. Refer to Boss Rash (5G) if you need any help unlocking bonus stages.

This stage and its relic work different from the others. The stage features enemies that gradually get stronger with each minute that passes. This relic is one of the only one dropped by a boss instead of just lying on the ground to pick up. On your map, you'll be able to see a question mark south of your starting position. This is the location of the boss. It's a ball that rolls around and absorbs enemies (their health especially) that it runs over. Hitting it doesn't give the same indication of damage as with other enemies and bosses, but it's still damaging it. Basically the gimmick and strategy here is that you need to kill it as quickly as possible to prevent it from rolling up so many enemies that its health becomes so high that you can't kill it.

I personally had no problems killing this boss quickly; it died in around 5-6 seconds once I tracked it down. I used Leda for the extra Might (refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) for how to unlock her), but she's not really necessary. What's extremely helpful is XX - Silent Old Sanctuary. This Arcana gives you +20% Might and -8% cooldown for each empty weapon slot. Therefore, if you just stay with your starting weapon, it's going to do double damage and have half the cooldown time. I started a run, picked that Arcana, leveled up just enough to get the Spinach and Tome to maximize my DPS (I used the extra Skips and Banishes from the above Arcana to help me get what I wanted). I then went down to the question mark (the boss is rolling around, so you might have to chase it down) and then just focused fire on it. If enemies are swarming, take care of them first so the boss doesn't absorb them. I was expecting a more drawn-out fight, but as I said, the boss died in only a few seconds. I went down around the 3-4 minute mark and got there around 5 minutes in, just as a point of reference.

Alternatively, you could turn on Endless Mode, play through a 30-minute run getting six weapons maxed out and their items, plus evolutions, become extremely powerful, and then when the run resets back to the first enemies at 30 minutes, then head down to the boss and beat it then, when you have a huge amount of firepower.
  • Reach Level 50 with Christine.

Refer to XXI - Blood Astronomia (5G) for more information.
  • Complete the Collection.

The Collection is viewable from the main menu at any time. There are 126 items you need to acquire to complete the Collection. Almost every single achievement is tied to an item in the Collection, so completing all other achievements will very nearly complete the Collection (making this the second-last achievement you'll get in the game), but there are a few that require a little more beyond the achievement, which I discuss below.

Below are three screenshots showing my completed Collection. Under each, I discuss the entries in each screenshot, pointing out any entries that won't come with natural progression or don't have clearly stated unlock conditions.

This first screenshot is almost entirely just standard weapons and their evolutions. Most of this is just everything already shown and discussed in Candybox (5G), which shows all weapons and how to evolve/unify them. Here are the exceptions:

    • On the sixth row, from the Bone to the egg-looking weapon (La Rumba), those are all starting weapons for secret characters. Each of those characters has an achievement tied to them though (all of the "Reroll" achievements). Completing those five "Reroll" achievements will unavoidably add those five weapons to the Collection.
    • The final entry on the sixth row are the Greatest Jubilee fireworks, unlocked with Greatest Jubilee (50G). What's important to point out here is that unlocking that achievement does NOT add the weapon to your Collection. Once you unlock that achievement, you then need to find and use the fireworks in an actual run. If you want, you can start a run with any character, level up, and then you use (hopefully 10 by this point) rerolls to look for the fireworks weapon. If you don't see it, quit and start a new run, and try again. It shouldn't take more than a run or two for it to show up as an option.
    • On the seventh row, the fourth entry is the Candybox. This is the biggest pain to add to your Collection. Like with the fireworks, unlocking Candybox (5G) doesn't add it to your Collection. You must find and use it during a run. Unfortunately, unlocking the secret character Trouser, who starts with the Candybox, does NOT work. It doesn't add it to your Collection. You must find it during a run. The Candybox is the rarest item in the game though, so this could take a while. It can only show up in two places: randomly when leveling up (extremely rare), or from a 5-reward chest after you've already maxed all your weapons and items (so, the point where chests would be giving you just money bags). The latter is a guaranteed Candybox spawn, from what I've read at least, but will require playing a run long enough to max everything and then hope for a 5-reward chest to appear. There is unfortunately no way to speed this up, so definitely grab the Candybox as soon as you see it in any run once you've unlocked it.
    • In this second screenshot, the first row and most of the second row are just the standard items you'll get in runs.
    • The last three items of the second row and the first two items of the third row are only unlockable once you unlock I - Gemini (5G). Once you have that Arcana card, you need to use it in a row and also get the weapons listed. This is easiest done by playing as Pugnala, start with the Gemini card, and then get Peachonne, Ebony Wings, and Gatti Amari in a row, and you'll unlock all of those items in the collection.
    • Also in the third row, the gold ring, silver ring, and two red arrows are only available once you get the Yellow Sign relic. You'll be getting all four in order to complete Candybox (5G)
    • All of the green-back items are standard map drops you'll get unavoidably as you progress
    • The pink-backed items are all of the relics. Each has an achievement for it aside from the Mindbender (the glasses and nose), but this one unlocks once you get 50 entries in the Collection

The end of the Collection is just all of the Arcana cards. They each have an achievement tied to them (all of the achievements that start with a roman numeral) and can't be obtained until you collect the Randomazzo relic. They all require getting to level 50 with various characters, which is summarized in XXI - Blood Astronomia (5G).
  • Defeat 100,000 enemies in a single run with Queen Sigma.

This will be your last achievement in the game, as it first requires you to unlock Queen Sigma. Refer to Queen Sigma (100G) for doing so. Once you have her, as the description says, you need to get 100,000 kills in a single run.

The easiest and most stressfree way to do this is to enable Endless Mode and play on one of the easier first stages of the game. This will likely take 1-2 hours though. The much faster way, assuming you're very well versed in the game, are fully upgraded, etc., is to play on The Bone Zone, where there are far more enemies. I would still enable Endless Mode just to be safe (so you don't reach the 30 minute mark and have the run end and you're not quite at 100,000 kills). During the run (whether you play on an earlier level or the Bone Zone), you can add some curses to yourself to speed this process up. Curses increase the amount of enemies, making this achievement go quicker. If you choose the Skull O'Maniac when leveling up, and/or Torrona's Box, these will add some curse to you. Additionally, you can choose the Arcana card that increases curse every level, and changes curse at set intervals. Having all three of those things together can make this achievement go by in 15 or so minutes. You'll obviously need to have a build strong enough to account for so many more and extra enemies, but the standards of evolved Santa Water, evolved King Bible, evolved Axes, evolved Song of Mana, and especially evolving Queen Sigma's starting weapon with the Torrona Box, will make this very easy to survive.
  • Reach Level 50 with Suor Clerici.

Refer to XXI - Blood Astronomia (5G) for more information.
  • Reach Level 50 with Poe.

All of these achievements that start with a roman numeral CANNOT be unlocked until you obtain the Randomazzo relic. Refer to Randomazzo (10G) for doing so. The original Steam achievements specified "Reach Level xx with [character] after obtaining the Randomazzo," but for some reason the final bit of the description was removed when the achievements were ported over. You therefore won't be able to unlock these achievements until you progress through most of the main levels, unfortunately.

As far as reaching level 50 with each character, by the time you reach Stage 4, Gallo Tower, and get the Randomazzo, reaching level 50 should be a relatively simple task. It can be done on any stage with the character in question, so my recommendation is to use Inlaid Library. Enemies only come from left and right, making it far more manageable. Once you get the hang of it, you should be able to hit level 50 by the 15-minute mark. As I've mentioned numerous other places, grabbing the evolved Santa Water, evolved Axes, and evolved King Bible will make it very easy to survive in this stage. However, if you're grinding out these achievements towards the end of your completion and are therefore fully upgraded, weapons unlocked, and know what you're doing, you should instead grab the Crown and Attractorb as soon as possible to make these achievements go as quickly as possible.
  • Discover every standard evolution and union.

All weapons are evolved in the same way. First, you need to get that weapon to its max level (level 8 for almost every weapon). This is done either by leveling up or opening a treasure chest. At the same time, you also need to acquire the corresponding item/weapon needed to evolve or unify that weapon (more detail below). The item does not need to be leveled up at all to evolve a weapon. Only weapons need to be at max level. Items just need to be acquired at all.

Once you get it to its max level and have the corresponding weapon/item, it can now be evolved. However, the only way to evolve it is to have its evolution show up in a treasure chest; you can't evolve it from leveling up. You'll therefore need to last long enough to level up multiple times, hoping the item/weapon you're after shows up enough to upgrade it to level 8. Then, you need to wait for special enemie to show up that drop treasure chests when defeated, such as glowing bats. And then, you need to hope that the chest gives you the evolution of your level 8 weapon.

Once you collect the Grim Grimoire relic (refer to Grim Grimoire (5G)), you'll be able to pause the game and see the progress you've made on discovering each evolution and union. To remove the trial and error/guessing from it, here is a screenshot of my completed Grimoire, so you can see which items you need in order to be able evolve or unify each weapon in the game.

The first column and the first five entries in the second column are very straightforward: get the weapon on the left to level 8, and find the item on the right (doesn't matter what level it is), and then open a chest and hope to get the evolution from it.

The sixth entry in the second column is the first unification, which is of Peachonne and Ebony Wings. Unlike the others, here both weapons need to be at level 8. No item is involved, so get both weapons, get them both to level 8, and then open a chest and hope for the unification.

The seventh entry requires three things. This one is far easier to do by playing as Pugnala, because she starts with both weapons. Then, you need to get both of those weapons to level 8 and also find the Tiragisu item, so this one requires a little more leveling and work.

In the third column, the first three entries are back to the normal formula, but each of those weapons is only available once you unlock the characters that start with those weapons, namely Giovanna, Poppea, and Concetta for the Gatti Amari, Song of Mana, and Shadow Pinion, respectively. You can simply play as each of those characters to start with the weapons you need to evolve, but after surviving 15 minutes with each character, you'll unlock their starting weapon for use by any character.

The next two items in the third column are for the evolutions of the Clock Lancet and the Laurel. These aren't possible (and won't be displayed in your Grim Grimoire) unlock you acquire the Yellow Sign relic. Refer to I can't see anything... (50G) for getting it. Once you get the Yellow Sign, every stage you play will now have four new items on your map that you can track down and pick up: Gold Ring, Silver Ring, Metaglio Left, and Metaglio Right. For these two evolutions, you need to get all three items pictures to max level. So, for the Infinite Corridor (the Clock Lancet's evolution), you need to get the Clock Lancet, Gold Ring, and Silver Ring all to max level, then open a chest and hope for the evolution. Same goes for the Laurel and its evolution. This is most easily done for the first time on the Inlaid Library, since it's just left and right you need to travel, rather than all around a map. I highly recommend doing these there.

The sixth entry in the third column is the union of the Vento Sancro with the Bloody Tear. To unlock the Vento Sancro, you'll need to play as Zi'Assunta. His starting weapon is the Vento Sanco. Once you survive 15 minutes with him, the Vento Sancro will be available to all characters. For this union then, you need to get the Vento Sancro and get it to level 8, but then you also need to get the Whip, get it to level 8, get the Hollow Heart item so you can evolve the Whip, and evolve the Whip to the Bloody Tear. Once you have the Bloody Tear and a level 8 Vento Sancro, now you can open a treasure chest and hope for the union of the two.

Lastly are the Bracelet evolutions. You'll first need to unlock the Bracelet, as no character starts with it. Refer to Bracelet (5G) for doing so. Once you have it, this weapon just evolves once it's at max level; no item or other weapon is needed. So, you'll need to get the Bracelet, get it to max level, open and chest and evolve it to the Bi-Bracelet, then get the Bi-Bracelet to max level, and finally open another chest to evolve it to the Tri-Bracelet, which will complete that entry.

There are other evolutions and unions in the game, particularly those of secret characters, but they are NOT required for this achievement. Only the ones pictures in the screenshot above are required.
  • Survive 30 minutes with either Gallo or Divano.

All of the achievements for surviving a set number of minutes with a specific character can be done on any stage. In my opinion, the easiest stage is Stage 2, Inlaid Library. While the enemies in general are a little tougher than the first stage, the layout is far easier: enemies only come from the left and right, making it far easier to keep the horde at bay.

I know I've mentioned it in other achievement solutions, but here is the build I used on virtually every run to guarantee success. First are the three must-haves:

    • Evolved Santa Water (Santa Water + Attractorb)
    • Evolved King Bible (King Bible + Spellbinder)
    • Evolved Axes (Axes + Candellabrador)
Just those three will do the vast majority of the work needed to survive up to 30 minutes. To finish off the build, especially on Inlaid Library where it is tight corridors with close walls, I highly recommend the following:

    • Evolved Lightning Ring (Lightning Ring + Duplicator)
    • Evolved Runetracer (Runetracer + Armor)
The sixth weapon slot can either be your starting weapon (if different from the above five) or a sixth of your choosing. Unless you have a specific sixth weapon you want to evolve, choosing the Spinach as your sixth item is a great choice for the huge extra damage it'll add when maxed out.

This build can easily be used for all character-specific survival achievements to make it to 30 minutes without any issues, especially on the Inlaid Library.
  • Evolve the Bracelet and then the Bi-Bracelet.

Refer to Candybox (5G) for more information.
  • Obtain all standard relics from all stages.

This achievement requires you to collect the following relics. Each relic has an associated achievement (with the same name as the relic) that has more detail on how to obtain each relic. The bonus stages are unlocked by beating the boss of normal stages (and Boss Rash (5G) has more info on that). Once you obtain all of the following relics, this achievement will unlock, as well as the final secret stage.

    • Grim Grimoire - Stage 2
    • Ars Gouda - Stage 3
    • Milky Way Map - Stage 3
    • Sorceress's Tears - Stage 4
    • Randomazzo - Stage 4
    • Great Gospel - Stage 5
    • Glass Vizard - Moongolow bonus stage
    • Yellow Sign - Moongolow bonus stage
    • Magic Banger - Green Acres bonus stage
  • Obtain the Seventh Trumpet.

Refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) for more information.
  • Obtain Gracia's Mirror.

Refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) for more information.
  • See the final fireworks.

First, you'll need to obtain all standard relics in the game to unlock the stage The Eudaimonia Machine. Refer to The Eudaimonia Machine (5G) for doing so.

Once you have all the relics needed and unlock that achievement, The Eudaimonia Machine appears at the top of the stage list. Pick any character, start it, and head up and into the black blob. After some fast dialogue, you'll be presented with two options.
Make one choice, and you'll get your relic and its achievement, plus the new mode. To get this stage to show up again from the level select screen, you need to play any stage with the new mode you unlocked. So, if you chose Too Easy and unlocked Inverse mode, start up any stage and turn on Inverse mode. Now feel free to quit out. Back at the level select screen, The Eudaimonia Machine stage will be back at the top of the list. Pick it, head up to the black blob, and choose the other option to unlock the other relic, its achievement, and the other game mode. Repeat the same process agian, starting any stage with the second game mode you unlocked (feeling free to quit out as soon as it starts if you want), and now The Eudaimonia Machine will be back on the stage select screen for the third and final time.

This time, when you go into The Eudaimonia Machine and walk up into the black blob, you will fight the true final boss of the game, the Directer [sic]. During this boss fight, no chests drop, so you won't be able to evolve any weapons. You will fight regular enemies though, so you will be able to level up. You therefore want to play as a character with a good starting weapon, and only choose weapons that are appropriate and still good without being evolved. The fight is described below in more detail.

The first, and most important, thing to mention about this fight is that there are multiple scripted instances of White Death showing up to kill you. Don't worry - these are meant to happen, and you don't need to have revives saved up to get through them. You can't do anything about them. They're just there to sort of troll you.

Throughout the entire boss fight, the Directer is on your left, locked in a set distance from you no matter where you move, and moves back and forth closer and further from you. As a result, you'll need weapons that shoot to the left. There are relics that will be swirling around the boss's head, and those are what you need to shoot to defeat it. Therefore, many weapons will be pretty useless here, such as the King Bible, Song of Mana, Shadow Pinion, Whip, etc. In my opinion, the best characters for this fight are Leda, Red Death, or Pugnala. Leda starts with the upgraded Magic Wand (and therefore automatically targets the relics above the boss), Red Death starts with the upgraded Axes (and therefore shoots scythes in a pattern good for hitting the relics), and Pugnala starts with both guns that shoot out at diagonals. They are by no means required, so feel free to use anyone else, but here is how to unlock each.

    • Leda is the best by far for this fight, and if you haven't unlocked her (there are no achievements tied to her), she's actually pretty easy to unlock: in Gallo Tower, head south very far, way past the the Metaglio and Ring items on the map, until the outside of the map starts getting dark. You'll eventually find a round, balloon-like boss enemy to fight. I use the word "boss" loosely here, as not only did she not attack me, she didn't even chase after me like other bosses do. She did have a ton of health though, so be prepared to sit there for a while until she disappears, at which point you'll unlock her after the run
    • Red Death is another good choice. This character is unlocked by, unsurprisingly, defeating Red Death at the 30 minute mark on any stage. The only way to do this is to have the Infinite Corridor and Crimson Shroud at the same time when Red Death shows up. Refer to Candybox (5G) for getting them. Then, you just need to hang out around Red Death until it dies, at which point you'll unlock this character. Easier said than done though, as it can be stressful to do this for the first time
Whoever you play as, you can't avoid the boss and can't change your alignment to get a better angle, so you're essentially going to be hitting the boss incidentally throughout the fight. Instead, focus on the regular enemies, especially for the first few minutes of the fight, so you avoid them and kill as many as possible to level up. In terms of priorities when you level up:

    • I highly recommend getting the Laurel, if possible. It doesn't pop up often in general, but it can really help cut down on damage you take, especially during the phase where the columns and rows are shooting out quickly.
    • Spinach will really help cut down the length of this fight, because it can really drag on otherwise, especially depending on which character and weapons you have
    • Tome will also make it way easier to get rid of the enemies coming through, allowing you to level up more
    • Spellbinder increases area of effect, making it way easier to actually hit the boss
    • Duplicator is a significant help to any weapon(s) you have, and should be a go-to on every run
There isn't a whole lot else to mention with this fight, as you're essentially going to spend the fight dodging enemies and the columns and rows of damage that pop up in the later phase. You won't have much control over hitting the boss, so you'll just have to let that happen and stick to dodging. Hopefully, if all goes well, after a few minutes you'll finally beat this boss. The fireworks will then trigger and this achievement will unlock.

DLC: Tiny Update

There are 2 achievements with a total of 15 points

  • Seal

    5

Banish 10 or more weapons in a single run.

Before you can unlock this achievement, you'll first need to unlock Banish 1 (5G), Banish 2 (5G), Banish 3 (5G), Banish 4 (5G), and Banish 5 (5G), and then actually purchase all five Banishes from the Powerups menu between runs. Once you own five ranks of Banish, you now have the ability to banish 10 times per run.

As the description says, you now need to do so. However, to clarify, it doesn't need to only be weapons that you banish. You can banish items as well. This is easy enough to do by first getting four or five weapons and/or items you want, then banishing any new ones that you don't want. If you solely want this achievement, you can even banish upgrades for weapons and items you already have. Just use banish ten levels in a row to get this achievement.
  • Reach Level 80 in Inverse Gallo Tower.

Refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) for unlocking Inverse mode. That needs to be done first before this achievement can be attempted.

Once you unlock Inverse mode, all stages have an option to turn on Inverse mode when you start them. Inverse mode, in addition to mirroring the level vertically, gives all enemies 200% health, +5% health each minute, and +1% movement speed every two minutes. Note that the vertical mirroring of a level is purely visual; the items that would be present in a level are still in their normal locations, not in mirrored locations.

As you might suspect, this mode will make things a little tougher, since enemies are stronger and get stronger as you progress. However, with a proper build, there won't be much of a noticeable difference at all when playing in Inverse mode. Before attempting this, it should go without saying that you already have all the permanent stat boosts purchased. The character you play as doesn't make a huge difference, but in terms of normal characters, Pugnala is a great choice since she gets +1% Might per level, which really helps offset the increase in enemy health. As for builds, you should always go with the standard evolved Santa Water, evolved King Bible, and evolved Axes. Since Gallo Tower is a close quarters level with lots of walls, the evolved Rune Tracer is great. Additionally, the Song of Mana, even if not evolved, is great for a vertical level like this. If you don't want to evolve the Song of Mana, then at least grab the Spinach so its damage increase helps offset the extra enemy health even further. For a sixth weapon, I'd recommend the evolved Lightning Ring just because the Duplicator you use with it is so good for all weapons you have.

Once you get that build going, you shouldn't have any issues getting to level 80. I do recommend being as aggressive as possible though, in the hopes that you can reach level 80 before the 25 minute mark, because the crab boss will have a huge amount of health in Inverse mode. That, coupled with Blue Death, can make the end of the stage pretty intense. If you stay aggressive, you could reach level 80 before the boss though.

DLC: Legacy of the Moonspell (Store Link)

There are 17 achievements with a total of 95 points

  • Find and open the coffin in Mt.Moonspell.

Like all coffins, the coffin in Mt Moonspell is marked on your map as a big obvious question mark. Getting to it, however, is more annoying this time, as the northern part of the new map is, frankly, quite annoying to navigate. To get to the coffin, from your starting point, head just north a bit until the path splits into left, right, or straight up. Make a right to head over to an area with a giant building. You need to enter it on the south end and work your way through the mini maze upward to find the coffin in the center. I personally didn't see the usual ring of enemies come out of the coffin like in all normal stages, but just kill all the surrounding enemies in the area until the coffin opens when you walk over it, granting you a new character.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Miang Moonspell.

Refer to 108 Bocce (5G) for more information.
  • Evolve the Silver Wind.

Refer to Boo Roo Boolle (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Menya Moonspell.

Refer to 108 Bocce (5G) for more information.
  • Evolve the Four Seasons.

Refer to Boo Roo Boolle (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Syuuto Moonspell.

Refer to 108 Bocce (5G) for more information.
  • Evolve the Summon Night.

Refer to Boo Roo Boolle (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Babi-Onna.

Refer to 108 Bocce (5G) for more information.
  • Evolve the Mirage Robe.

Refer to Boo Roo Boolle (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes with McCoy-Oni.

For all of these achievements for surviving 15 minutes with each character, they can be done on any map. Feel free to be as conservative as you'd like, doing it on one of the first stages and gradually waiting 15 minutes. However, you can speed it up by turning on Hurry Mode so time goes quicker, making all these achievements much faster.

Also, just to make it clear, the first character is unlocked by opening the coffin in Mt. Moonspell, and all subsequent characters with 15-minute achievements are unlocked by evolving the starting weapon of each new character.

  • Defeat 100000 enemies in a single run with Menya Moonspell.

Refer to Megalo Syuuto (10G) for more information.
  • Defeat 100000 enemies in a sinle run with Syuuto Moonspell.

For both of these achievements for defeating 100,000 enemies in a single run, they can be done on any stage. So, feel free to be as safe/conservative as possible, picking, for example, Inlaid Library and activating Endless Mode, and just waiting it out until you kill 100,000 enemies. However, if you want to knock these out as quickly as possible, start up The Bone Zone with Hyper and Hurry activated (as well as Limit Break and Arcana, of course). Pick the Arcana to increase Greed, Growth, Luck and Curse every level, and consider also picking up the Skull O'Maniac and Torrona's Box, upgrading both. This will drastically speed up how quickly you get these done, assuming you're confident in your build. You should be good from the base game, but just to reiterate:

    • Santa Water + Attractorb
    • Axes + Candelabrador
    • King Bible + Spellbinder
    • Lightning Ring + Duplicator
    • Song of Mana + Skull O'Maniac
    • Starting weapon evolution (see Boo Roo Boolle (5G) for how to evolve it)

Optionally, if you have tons of money built up, get five weapons and then buy all five weapons from the Vizard to have nine weapons. Once all are maxed out you'll be unstoppable.

Once you reach 100,000 kills, you will likely need to just quit since you'll probably never die.

  • Defeat 6000 Kappa.

Kappa are a new enemy in the new map only. They spawn only in two known locations: directly south by the Gold Ring on the map, and in the northwest corner of the map where a frozen lake is. From my experience, they spawn very slowly in the south, so definitely go to the northwest corner. To get there, from the spawn, head up and then take the left path, eventually going up, through a cave, out the left of it and left through a very narrow path, and that eventually opens up into the frozen lake area. There will be a giant skeleton enemy in the middle, but if you stay on the lake Kappa enemies will spawn nonstop around you the entire time. They unfortunately don't swarm in huge numbers, so if possible, I recommend getting some curse to speed up the process.

You unfortunately can't tell during the run whether you've killed enough, but make a note of your kill count when you get to the lake and then kill an additional 10,000 enemies or so. That should be plenty to reach 6000 Kappa and unlock this achievement.

  • Find a Night Sword.

The Night Sword is located directly north in Mt. Moonspell, and is clearly marked on your map. It is, quite frankly, a bit of a pain to get to. Navigating the north end of the map can be annoying with all the paths that wind around, rather than being an open space like all the other maps. To get to it, you need to head directly north from the starting area, up and through a cave with very strong enemies, and you'll eventually get to a little snow shrine with the Night Sword and a huge skeleton enemy guarding it. Simply pick it up for this achievement though, and then you'll be able to get it when leveling up with any character in any stage.

Alternatively, start the stage with the Mad Groove Arcana. This brings all items on the map to you immediately, including the Night Sword. Then, you can simply pick it up right next to you.

  • Evolve the Night Sword.

Refer to Boo Roo Boolle (5G) for more information.
  • Defeat the Orochimario in Mt.Moonspell.

Like all bosses in the game, this one shows up at the 25 minute mark. Also like all other bosses, this one just hangs out and tries to chase after you slowly, so you just need to whittle its health down and kill it. Nothing special here - just get a solid build together (you should be well versed after the base game, and have the strongest characters and weapons unlocked) and survive until the 25 minute mark, and you should be able to lay waste to the boss very quickly.
  • Evolve the Mille Bolle Blu.

Here is the combinations needed to evolve all of the new weapons in this DLC. Note that, unlike the base game weapons where you needed to max level the weapon and only have the corresponding item, these require you to max out the weapon and the needed items.

    • Silver Wind + Level 5 Pummarola = Festive Wind
    • Four Seasons + Level 5 Candelabrador + Level 5 Spinach = Godai Shuffle
    • Summon Night + Level 5 Duplicator = Echo Night
    • Mirage Robe + Level 5 Attractorb = J'Odore
    • Mille Bolle Blu + Level 5 Spellbinder = Boo Roo Boolle
    • Night Sword + Level 5 Stone Mask = Muramasa

DLC: The Chaotic One

There are 3 achievements with a total of 20 points

  • Reach Level 80 in Inverse Mad Forest.

Mad Forest is the first level of the game, and refer to Greatest Jubilee (50G) in the base game for unlocking Inverse mode.

As the description says, you need to reach level 80, so turn on Endless to be safe. If you've already completed the base game by this point (and have Sigma unlocked), this should be pretty basic by now. Start a run with Sigma (or your best character), and if you've very confident, go ahead and turn on Hurry and Hyper to really speed this up. Utilize your best weapons/evolutions, such as Santa Water, King Bible, Axes, Spinach, etc., and you should be able to hit level 80 around 12 or so minutes into the level. Simply quit out after hitting level 80 to end the run and unlock this achievement, as well as the new stage, Bat Country.

  • Find the Apoplexy at minute 09:00 in Bat Country.

Refer to EXTRA: Chaos Malachite (5G) for more information.
  • Find the Chaos Malachite at minute 18:00 in Bat Country.

Refer to EXTRA: Bat Country (10G) to first unlock the extra stage, Bat Country. With it unlocked, start up a run with your best character. There's nothing really difficult about this stage at all, since it's just different forms of bats. Use your usual tactics to survive. Feel free to turn on Hurry mode to speed this up, since it's a pretty easy stage.

At the 9-minute and then 18-minute mark, a green arrow will pop up on screen pointing you to a new item that spawned. Follow the arrow to a little glowing item and pick it up. You'll get Apoplexy at 9 minutes and Chaos Malachite at 18 minutes. There aren't any bosses in this stage or anything else to do, disappointingly, so once you collect Chaos Malachite at 18 minutes, quit out of your run to unlock both achievements.

DLC: Tides of the Foscari (Store Link)

There are 21 achievements with a total of 105 points

  • Find and open the coffin in Lake Foscari.

Like all coffins, this one is marked on your map with a question mark, in the northwest of the map. To reach it, head northwest and you'll eventually reach a lake. Head east along the lake shore until you get to a path you can take north that cuts back to the west. Here, you can head straight to the coffin. Like all coffins, get near it to trigger all the enemies around it, then kill them all and walk over the coffin to open it, unlocking this achievement and the new character with the same name.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Eleanor Uziron.

Refer to Shadow Servant (5G) for more information.
  • Get SpellStream to Level 6.

When you reach level 10 with Eleanor, SpellStream will drop on the ground near you (keep an eye out for it in case there are a lot of enemies). Touch it to pick it up. Now simply level it up to Level 6.
  • Get SpellStrike to Level 6.

When you reach level 20 with Eleanor, SpellStrike will drop on the ground near you (keep an eye out for it in case there are a lot of enemies). Touch it to pick it up. Now simply level it up to Level 6.
  • Unite SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike.

Refer to Ophion (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Maruto Cuts.

Refer to Shadow Servant (5G) for more information.
  • Evolve the Eskizzibur.

Refer to Ophion (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Keitha Muort.

Refer to Shadow Servant (5G) for more information.
  • Evolve the Flash Arrow.

Refer to Ophion (5G) for more information.
  • With Keitha, break the Seal of the Lake.

Refer to the roadmap for the progression of how to unlock Keitha.

With Keitha, start up a run on Lake of Foscari. You'll need to reach the Seal with her evolved Flash Arrow (refer to Ophion (5G) or the roadmap for how to evolve all the weapons). The Seal is located in the northeast of the map, and is marked with a question mark, but to get there you need to head northwest. Basically, you're going to go the same direction you went to get to the coffin, and from there you can head east to get to the question mark. The Seal is a giant gem. Face it so you shoot it with a Flash Arrow, which will break it, immediately unlocking this achievement and starting you on a new stage, Abyss Foscari.
  • With Maruto, break the Seal of the Abyss.

Refer to Abyss Foscari (5G) for unlocking the second new level, Abyss Foscari. Start up the level with Maruto as your character. You'll need to level up his starting weapon, so refer to the roadmap or Ophion (5G) if you don't remember the combination. With the leveled up starting weapon, you need to head to the question mark on the map, which is the Seal. To get there, head directly south from where you spawn. You'll get to an area where you can head west, but this isn't far enough south (it's a dead end to the west). Head farther south until the next point you can head west, and do so. This will lead you past some small waterfalls and to the Seal. Simply stand near it until your evolved weapon breaks it, unlocking this achievement.
  • With Eleanor, break the Seal of the Banished.

Before you can do this achievement, you'll first need to unlock the stage Abyss Foscari (refer to Abyss Foscari (5G)), and then you'll also need to break the Seal of the Abyss (refer to Luminaire Foscari (5G)). With those done, start up a run on Abyss Foscari with Eleanor. You'll need to evolve her starting weapon (refer to the roadmap or Ophion (5G) if you need a reminder how) and head to the question mark on your map (it's a new one). To get to it, take the same route as the previous Seal (head directly south from the spawn until the second opportunity to go west, past the waterfalls). When you get to where the previous Seal was, continue west as far as you can, until you're essentially directly south of the question mark. Now you can head straight north to reach it.

You'll need to hang out near it for a little while until your weapon finally breaks it. This achievement will unlock immediately, and it'll throw you right into a boss fight against Je-Ne-Viv. Refer to Hyper Abyss Foscari (5G) for tips on this boss fight.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Luminaire Foscari.

Refer to Shadow Servant (5G) for more information.
  • Evolve the Prismatic Missile.

Refer to Ophion (5G) for more information.
  • Survive 15 minutes with Genevieve Gruyère.

Refer to the roadmap for progression on how to unlock each of the new characters. Surviving 15 minutes shouldn't need any elaboration at this point in the game, but you can play on any level to make it very easy, and can turn on Hurry mode to double the clock speed, so it only takes 7.5 minutes instead of 15.
  • Evolve the Shadow Servant.

The combination needed to level up each new weapon is summarized in the roadmap, but here it is again for reference.

    • SpellString + SpellStream + SpellStrike = SpellStrom
    • Eskizzibur + Level 5 Armor = Legionnaire
    • Flash Arrow + Level 5 Bracer + Level 5 Clover = Millionaire
    • Prismatic Missile + Level 5 Crown = Luminaire
    • Shadow Servant + Level 5 Skull O' Maniac = Ophion
  • Defeat 100000 enemies in a single run with Genevieve Gruyère.

Refer to Genevieve Gruyère (5G) for how to unlock this character. Once unlocked, you now need to play as her on any stage and get 100000 kills. Obviously this requires you to also enable Endless Mode, since it'll likely take around 50-60 minutes on the ingame clock to get this many kills. I recommend pairing this run with Rottin'Ghoul (5G) if you haven't unlocked it yet, as you'll unavoidably get the kills for that achievement during this run.

If you want to make it as easy as possible, just play a regular run on Abyss Foscari, and be prepared to spend an hour and a half racking up kills. However, if you're confident in your abilities and weapon selection, go ahead and turn on both Hurry and Hyper to increase enemy density to speed this up. I also grabbed the Skull O'Maniac and Torrona's Box to make this even faster (just be careful you don't die).

My go-to setup is always evolved Santa Water, evolved Axes, evolved King Bible, evolved Lightning Ring, evolved Song of Mana, and then evolved starting weapon.

  • Defeat a total of 6000 Sammies.

This new enemy is only found in Lake of Foscari, and only in a very specific place in that stage. Basically, from the spawn, head east and then north until you get to the tunnel maze on that side. Head north into it, east to the second northward path and take it, then west, south, and loop around back out the northern exit. Head north a few squares from the exit and then east where you'll shortly find a rock wall with caterpillar-like enemies crawling out of it. These are the Sammies you need to kill. Refer to THIS LINK to see a map of the stage and see where exactly they are. That might be more helpful.

Once you get to that area, there is unfortunately no way to track how many you've killed while you're farming kills, and the achievement only unlocks after ending your run, so you have to guess. What I did was, once I got there, let my kill counter go up 30,000 to 40,000 kills, just to be safe. So, since I got there at around 10,000 kills, I hung out by the way until I reached 50,000 total kills, and then I quit and the achievement unlocked. If it doesn't for you, you can check in the Beastiary to see how many of those enemies you've killed before jumping back in to farm more.

  • Defeat a total of 6000 Rotting Ghouls.

Rotting Ghouls are an enemy that is only present in the stage Abyss Foscari. There isn't really a specific way to grind these kills out, since this enemy just shows up throughout a run. However, if you do Je-Ne-Viv (5G) on Abyss Foscari, you will unavoidably unlock this achievement on the way. If you don't have this achievement yet, you can check the Beastiary on the main menu to see how many of these enemies you've killed so far.
  • Defeat the Avatar of Gaea in Lake Foscari.

Like all standard bosses in the game, the boss of Lake Foscari shows up at the 25-minute mark, and is a deer with big antlers. When it first shows up, it seems to spend a good deal of time healing from the damage you do, while also moving very fast. Then, it'll start taking damage, and it's quite the tank. Thankfully, it has no attacks of its own that I ever observed, so just do circles around it until it's dead.
  • Defeat Je-Ne-Viv in Abyss Foscari.

Refer to Genevieve Gruyère (5G) for how to access this boss fight. Basically, you need to break the Seal of the Banished in Abyss Foscari. Doing so frees this boss, and you'll get sucked into a boss fight in a new area with all your weapons wiped out (but you'll still have your items). The Boss will be stealing life from you, and you're forced to rely on the drops of Prismatic Missiles. At least, that's the only weapon that was dropping on the ground around me and the fight. Within a minute or two, I had picked up enough Prismatic Missiles to have it fully leveled up. I also got a Magic Wand and maybe another weapon. I'm not sure if the weapon drops are random, but basically you want to be constantly looking around you for weapon drops to add to your arsenal so you can actually damage the boss. In addition to the boss, those red fire exploding enemies from the second stage of the game show up as adds during this fight.

What was very strange about this fight was that I had no health bar after I got sucked into the fight. I have no idea if this was a bug of intentional, and whether or not I was invincible or just couldn't see my health. From what I could tell, I was never close to dying, I just circled around the boss, picking up all the weapon drops I could find, and just waited until the boss finally died. When the boss dies, your run will automatically end and you'll unlock this achievement.

DLC: The Whimsy One

There are 1 achievements with a total of 5 points

  • Banish 20 or more weapons in a single run.

As the description says, you need to use the Banish ability 20 times in a single run. Note that it doesn't need to be used strictly on weapons, as items (such as Armor, Hollow Heart, etc.) also count toward the 20 needed.

This is quite easy to do with Sigma since she starts with over 100 Banishes. You should probably level up your starting weapon a couple times or grab a couple more weapons first, just to be safe, but then just Banish something every time you level up. The only way to see how many Banishes you've used is to check how many you start with (for me, it's 118) and then subtract off 20. Once you use 20, you can just quit the run to unlock this achievement.

DLC: Overwhelming Update

There are 6 achievements with a total of 30 points

  • Reach Level 80 in Inverse Inlaid Library.

Load up 'Inlaid Library' and make sure Inverse is turned on. If you've completed the base game, definitely just use Sigma, but any strong character will do. Consider also turning on Hyper and Hurry to speed this achievement up. Now, just play until you level up to level 80, which should happen somewhere in the 10-12 minute range in-game. Once you reach level 80, simply quit out of the run to unlock this achievement.
  • Find the Chaos Rosalia in Astral Stair.

Refer to EXTRA: Astral Stair Map (5G) for more information.
  • Find the Trisection in Astral Stair.

Refer to EXTRA: Astral Stair Map (5G) for more information.
  • Find the Astral Stair Map.

The new stage, 'Astral Stair', is near the bottom of the list and accessible immediately. There are three relics to collect in it, and an achievement for each. This stage can be a bit confusing at first if you don't know what you're doing, because it's just a small vertical section and all of the items are way off to the right. I've included a screenshot of the map below so you can see what the stage actually looks like before you collect the map. Basically what you need to do is align yourself vertically with the top, middle, and bottom islands off to the right, and on the LEFT side of the starting area will be a door you can touch to teleport to the island to your immediate right. From there, you can head right and into another door to teleport right again, and repeat until you reach the rightmost island where a relic is. Grab it, then head back through the doors to the left until you're back to the vertical starting area. You can see in the screenshot below that there are five rows of islands off to the right. There's a relic on the top row, the middle row, and the bottom row, so those are the only three paths you need to take to get each of the three relics for this achievement. Use Sigma if you have her, and you may want to level up a couple times first just because enemies actually start with pretty high health and there are a lot of them, and then proceed to explore and get all relics. Once you have all three, quit out to unlock all three achievements.

  • Find the Mt.Moonspell Map.

Note: This achievement requires you to have purchased and installed the Legacy of the Moonspell DLC so that you can access the 'Mt. Moonspell' stage.

Load up that stage, preferably with Sigma, and all you need to do is follow the green arrow to find the map. This is pretty straightforward to find: head directly northeast like the arrow says, and you'll come to a building that it's inside. Head down and around the south side of the structure to find an entrance farther east. Head up, in, and immediately back west inside the structure to find a mini building within that has the map you can collect. Feel free to quit out immediately after grabbing the map to unlock this achievement.
  • Find the Lake Foscari Map.

Note: This achievement requires you to have purchased and installed the Tides of the Foscari DLC so that you can access the 'Lake Foscari' stage.

Load up that stage, preferably with Sigma, and now you need to follow the green arrow to where the map is. Easier said than done, though, as this stage can be a bit of a pain to navigate without a map. I've provided a screenshot below that shows the map, and my character icon is where the map is located. So, as you can see from the image, you need to first get on the north side of the river that runs through the map. You can either go through the caves to the east, through the garden maze to the north, or just off to the west and then over the bridges. Once you've crossed the river, head to that dense tree section where the arrow is pointing. To get inside the trees, travel along the northern end of them and hold down until you reach a hidden entrance that opens up inside the forest and makes things visible. From there, simply head down to the map to grab it. Feel free to quit out immediately after grabbing the map to unlock this achievement.

DLC: Whiteout

There are 6 achievements with a total of 30 points

  • Find 20 Orologions.

This achievement is cumulative and retroactive.

Orologions are the stopwatch powerups that, when collected, freeze all enemies and turn them blue. You will assuredly collect far beyond 20 by the time you complete the base game, but an easy way to grind them out is to replay Inlaid Library and go around breaking all the light sources, or play the second bonus stage and keep breaking light sources there.

Once you've collected a cumulative total of 20 of these across all runs, you'll unlock this achievement and the new level Whiteout.
  • Get Glass Fandango to Level 7.

You'll first need to obtain the new weapon Glass Fandango, and it can only be obtained on Whiteout. Refer to EXTRA: Whiteout (5G) for unlocking that level.

Load up Whiteout and head north to collect the spear-shaped weapon on your map. This will give you the Glass Fandango weapon. Now simply level up and choose it to level it up to level 7, unlocking this achievement. This will also add the Glass Fandango into the weapon rotation of every character when leveling up.
  • Evolve the Glass Fandango.

Refer to EXTRA: Glass Fandango (5G) for obtaining this new weapon. To evolve it, you need to get it to level 8 and then have the Wings at level 5, then open a chest.
  • Survive 20 minutes in Whiteout.

Refer to EXTRA: Whiteout (5G) for unlocking this level. Then, start it up with your best character, such as Sigma, and if you want to speed it up, turn on Hurry to make in-game time go at double speed, making this only take 10 minutes.
  • Find the Antidote in Whiteout.

Refer to EXTRA: Whiteout (5G) for unlocking this level.

Load in and simply follow the green arrow down into the cave to find this item, marked on your map, to pick up, unlocking this achievement.
  • Find the Chaos Altemanna in Tiny Bridge.

Refer to Tiny Bridge (10G) for unlocking that level, if you haven't already.

Once loaded into it, simply head to the egg marked on your map and pick it up to unlock this achievement.

DLC: Space-54

There are 8 achievements with a total of 40 points

  • Obtain the Atlas Gate in Boss Rash.

For me, the Atlas Gate appeared in the center of the arena in this map at exactly 8 minutes. I have seen reports of it appearing at different times though. Just load up this map with Sigma and turn on Hurry mode to speed this up, then just survive (should be no problem at this point) and keep an eye on the center of the arena for this relic. It looks exactly like the achievement tile. Grab it and then you can end your run to unlock this achievement (no other achievements in this DLC for this map).
  • Find 5 Golden Fingers.

Golden Fingers are a very rare drop that make you invincible for a time and increase enemy amount by absurd levels and make your weapons fire constantly. This achievement requires you to pick up five of them cumulatively. Thankfully, there are five on the map in Astral Stair. If you've been completing all DLCs in order, you'll already have that map, but refer to EXTRA: Astral Stair (5G) if you don't, and grab the map for it in EXTRA: Astral Stair Map (5G). With it, you can pause and see all five Golden Fingers on your map. Use the teleportation doors to travel to each Golden Finger and grab it. Once you've gotten five, you can end your run to get your achievement (no other achievements in this DLC for this map).
  • Get Phas3r to level 7.

On the new map, Space 54, there is a Phas3r sitting on the ground just above where you start. Pick it up, then level it up to level 7 for this. Make sure you then evolve it for EXTRA: Photonstorm (5G).
  • Evolve the Phas3r.

Refer to EXTRA: Phas3r (5G) for getting the Phas3r. Once you have it, it evolves by pairing it with the Empty Tome (red book that is also sitting on the Space 54 map. Both the Phas3r and Empty Tome need to be max level, then open a chest to evolve it.
  • Survive 20 minutes in Space 54.

Refer to EXTRA: Space 54 (5G) for unlocking this new map. Once you have it, simply start a run on it with Sigma, and preferably turn on Hurry mode to speed this up. The map is a little annoying to navigate, but at some point it goes away and you're just freely roaming around the cosmos. Stick to the usual weapons and items to survive for 20 minutes (Santa Water, Axes, King Bible, etc., and Spinach Leaf, Candelabra, Spell Binder, etc.), and once you hit the 20-minute mark (assuming you've also grabbed Brave Story at 18 minutes for EXTRA: Brave Story (5G)), go ahead and end the run to unlock this.
  • Find the Brave Story at minute 18 in Space 54.

Refer to EXTRA: Space 54 (5G) for unlocking this new map. Once you have it, simply start a run on it with Sigma, and preferably turn on Hurry mode to speed this up. Survive until 18 minutes on the clock, and then a green arrow will appear on the HUD directing you to the Brave Story relic. By this point, the map will be gone and you'll be able to freely roam around the open area, making navigating to this relic easy. Just head to it and grab it to unlock this achievement, and then stick it out for another minute or two for EXTRA: Space Dude (5G) before ending your run.
  • Defeat a total of 161616 bats.

This is cumulative over all runs of all levels played, and you can check your status in the Unlocks menu. Personally, I apparently had this many bat kills already, but I also spent time beyond achievements playing for fun. If you don't have this achievement, you can grind it out on most maps, but there isn't a way to know you've gotten enough kills until the run ends. Loading up the first map, Mad Forest, with Endless, Hurry, and Hyper turned on, along with playing as Sigma, is an easy way to idle for this achievement. Get all of your strongest weapons and items, max them out, evolve them, then choose random upgrades for Limit Break levels, and you can set your controller down and rack up kills.
  • Evolve the Pako Battiliar.

The Pako Battiliar is evolved by pairing it with the Hollow Heart item. Simply get the Pako Battiliar and the Hollow Heart to max level, then open a chest to evolve it and unlock this achievement.

DLC: Laborratory

There are 7 achievements with a total of 35 points

  • Banish 40 or more weapons in a single run.

This can easily be done with Sigma on any map, but you can speed it up by turning on Hyper and Hurry so enemies come at your fast. Playing with Sigma starts you with 118 Banishes. I first recommend getting at least four or five weapons and accessories so you're good to mow down enemies, but just make sure you don't pick a sixth weapon nor a sixth accessory. Then, once you have most of a build, just start banishing a weapon or accessory every time you level up. There isn't a direct way to track how many you banished during a run, but you can just watch your 118 Banishes go down to 78 to know you've banished 40 things, then quit the run to unlock this achievement.

As a side note, if you have five weapons and five accessories equipped, you will run out of new stuff before reaching 78 Banishes remaining. Fear not. You can still banish equipped stuff too. You won't be able to level it anymore after banishing, but it'll still count for this achievement.
  • Find 33 Rosaries.

Rosaries are a random powerup drop that kill all enemies on screen, and they're pretty rare. If you have already gotten this many, the achievement will unlock immediately after ending your first new run with this title update. If you don't have this many Rosaries, I believe the fastest way to grind it out and eliminate any RNG is to play with Sigma on Cappella Magna. There are three Rosaries on this map in a vertical line directly south of where you spawn. Start a run, make a beeline for them, quit the run after you've gotten all three, and then repeat until you unlock this achievement. If you're doing all content before this title update, no grinding should be necessary.
  • Get Santa Javelin to level 7.

The Santa Javelin is a weapon drop found on the Laborratory map. To get it, along the top of the map are automatic glass doors that lead into rooms with lever(s). Flip the lever(s) by touching them and an item will spawn. You should get the Javelin relatively easily. Once you have it, level it to level 7 like usual.
  • Evolve the Santa Javelin.

The Santa Javelin evolves with a Level 5 Clover. Simply play as Sigma and reroll until you get the Clover, then max out the Javelin and the Clover, open a chest, and you'll evolve it.
  • Survive 20 minutes in Laborratory.

Refer to EXTRA: Laborratory (5G) for unlocking this new stage. Then, load up the stage as Sigma, fill out your go-to build (almost anything works as Sigma), and surviving until the 20-minute mark won't be an issue. Feel free to turn on Hurry mode to speed this up.
  • Find an Arma Dio in Laborratory.

Refer to EXTRA: Laborratory (5G) for unlocking this new stage. Then, load up the stage and head to one of the rooms along the top of the map behind the slide automatic glass doors. Inside, flip the lever(s) and an item will spawn. You're looking for the Arma Dio, which should come pretty easily. Grab it and you'll be given the option to pick any accessory. If you haven't already, get the Clover to evolve the Santa Javelin for that achievement.
  • Deal a total of 25120 damage with the Laborratory Train.

Along the bottom of this map is train tracks which you can activate  by touching any of the levers along the track. The levers reset too, so feel free to just bounce back and forth between two levers.

There's no way to track how much damage you've done with the train, but this is cumulative across all runs. Personally, I used it about a dozen times and unlocked this achievement in one run.
