Sony's San Diego Studio has launched MLB The Show 24 for Xbox today, available to play via Xbox Game Pass, offering another dose of baseball action in which you can go from the minors to the big leagues, and onto World Series glory.
This year's game includes the Storylines mode, enabling you to relive iconic moments from some of baseball's unsung, lesser known heroes. In Road to the Show mode, you can build a career in the “ultimate” baseball role-playing experience, progressing from the minors to the majors, forging your legacy along the way.
Franchise mode, meanwhile, tasks you with leading your chosen team to World Series victory, focusing upon key moments during the season from March to October. You'll have to fight to get to the Playoffs and beyond. Diamond Dynasty has you collecting player cards to build your fantasy team, before heading online to play against other players, or going head-to-head with a rival offline.
Multiplayer also features cross-play support, with leaderboards, online co-op, and more, while female players also come to MLB The Show in the ‘Road to The Show: Women Pave Their Way’ mode. MLB The Show 24 is out now for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
