Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, the upcoming open-world 'souls-lite' action RPG, will be coming this July, with pre-orders now available across all platforms.
Set in the fantasy world of Kian, Flintlock pits you against the gods, when they're accidentally turned loose by protagonist Nor. With mysterious animal companion Enki at her side, Nor must set about making amends by killing the gods, saving humanity before they take over the world.
Wielding blades and guns, you'll be able to parry and dodge attacks in fluid, rhythmic combat, while Enki provides support using magic to ‘prime’ enemies. Fill the magical gauge by racking up combos, and you can fully prime a foe to land critical hits, removing armour from tougher enemies or killing them with a single strike.
Nor can earn ‘reputation’ to spend on upgrading weapons and armour, or unlock new skills under the ‘Powder’, ‘Magic’, or ‘Steel’ skill trees, making her even more formidable in combat. You can take a closer look at Flintlock's battles and traversal in a new release date trailer below.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on 18th July (day one via Xbox Game Pass), with a physical Deluxe Edition also available for pre-order, bundling the game with a digital soundtrack and artbook, DLC cosmetic items (outfits and weapons), and a reversible cover.
