I have no idea whay the author would think "it is very clearly inspired by Playground Games' Forza Horizon series." since the Forza Horizon series has never had planes or boats.

Over the course of two games, The Crew has stuck to racing across a vast rendition of the USA, but, for The Crew Motorfest, all that is set to change.
Instead, you'll find yourself tearing across the exotic Hawaiian islands, and, for our recent hands-on with the game's Closed Beta, we had free rein to explore the colourful vistas of O'ahu. Head-to-Head races and The Grand Race are among the modes on offer, as well as an automotive battle royale.
