Windows Games

Hello ,

When i look at games on this site, it sometimes says Windows10. I am new to this, i do play on xbox360 and Xbox One. So, i have several games for windows, and i wanted to play them, and get some achievements. Only i dont know how this works. Like rise of the tomb raider, there is a windows verion. Can i start this game, and then the achievements get added to my list? Or do i need to download software?

If somebody can tell me how this works, that would be great. I have several games for the epic store that i wanted to play.
