  7. For Super Mario RPG and the Yoshi race, I always have to go way slower than my brain wants to go. I struggled a lot in the first SNES run but won first try in this remake. I also felt some timing issues, in particular with the Super Jumps. I never had a problem getting over 30 for the Attack Scarf, both on SNES and when I've played ROMs over the years, but I couldn't even get to 30 on Switch after a bunch of tries. I've never succeeded in doing 100 for the Super Suit, so I wasn't expecting that, but not even being able to get the Attack Scarf was frustrating. As for me, I haven't posted in forever but I've played a bunch of really solid games. The most standout for me recently was Dicey Dungeons (GamePass). I'd heard of it years ago when it was part of the indie Game Jam where the theme was "a roll of the dice" and heard it was a fun roguelike but I never got around to trying it until recently. I found it to be incredibly fun despite its apparent simplicity. Not since Shovel Knight have a felt such a distinct difference between playing as different characters, where your gameplay is so altered. Each character had a unique and interesting way of playing as them, forcing you to learn how to use them properly and play differently, focusing on different types of gear and different dice rolls. It also gave me that awesome feeling from roguelike games where a build comes together perfectly for you to just destroy enemies, and I hadn't had that feeling since Risk of Rain 2. Loved this game, and highly recommend it. It also did a great job with RNG, utilizing only input RNG with dice rolls rather than output RNG which drives most gamers crazy. Hard Mode had a really good challenge to it, as did the final boss run and fight (which again added even more change-up to the gameplay), making for an incredibly satisfying completion. I finally got around to playing Bioshock 2, which I for some reason never did, despite loving Bioshock and Infinite. Same solid gameplay as the first game, even though it felt markedly more difficult. The story didn't have the same impactful twist as Bioshock and Infinite, but it was still a solid story and good DLC story content. I wasn't looking forward to the Protector Trials at all just because I detest horde modes, especially when shoehorned into games for no real reason. They turned out to be pretty fun with the variety of set builds you're given, forcing you to try out all of the weapons and plasmids. It was a challenge for sure considering I only really used one or two plasmids during the story, but I didn't have any real issues and finished up that completion. A huge chunk of DLC was released for Talos Principle II, anywhere from 20-30 hours of content for $20, which was amazing. It was three separate pieces of content, with the first requiring some new ways to think about existing mechanics, the second being a more straightforward story expansion of the base game, and the third filling in a gap in the base game with some of the hardest puzzles in the game. I got through the first piece of content with relative ease once I figured out the leaps in logic I needed to make for this group of puzzles. The second was challenging but still doable. The third was absolutely brutal. A total of 24 of some of the toughest puzzles I've ever had to solve. This series continues to be one of the favorites for puzzles, combining excellent narrative, really interesting "lore," and perfectly designed puzzles. They're just hard enough to be doable but give you that satisfying aha moment when you break through. I'm expecting a third game eventually (and looking forward to it).
  8. Now I could be wrong on this, but I am pretty sure that you cannot earn achievements on EA and Ubisoft games without streaming them via Cloud Gaming on the PC's Xbox App as these come directly from the developers PC versions/launchers which are not connected to the Xbox servers. The achievement list that you see, is most likely only available if you play it via Cloud Gaming which 'should' launch the console version as the streaming service uses Series X server blades to deliver the content and as such, you would be playing directly on the console. I don't know that for certain, but this has always been my interpretation of those EA and Ubisoft games on the Xbox App. Maybe it's the developers/publishers way of trying to encourage people to buy games directly from their own launcher/store instead of via Microsoft so that they don't have to pay a percentage to them for each game sold, or maybe so that they don't have to go back through their games (most of which development/support ended years ago) to integrate the Xbox Live service into the PC versions.
  9. I loaded up Lords of the Fallen and noped it out pretty quick. Just didn't interest me but that could be because I am burned out on Elden Ring. Decided to go back to Starfield now that mods have been out a while and the game is enjoyable. It's sad that the community understands what they want in games better than Bethesda. So many simple mods that change basic parts of the game to make them more enjoyable and in line with what people want from an RPG.
  10. You could try, but it's likely they'll give you the runaround. Most companies respond when you contact them on Twitter, although I don't know what their handle is. You can try finding it or an email on their website or by googling them.
  11. @bLaKgRaVy Okay thanks for the reply. Are you suggesting I contact EA Support directly? How exactly do I do that?

  17. Thanks for the clarification!! 😃 Yeah, that's the leaderboard (first 5 and last 5) for that individual achievement that is shown first. 👍
  18. When I had clicked on the numbers it showed first to unlock and recent unlocks for me. I didn't notice the comments until I scrolled further down after reading your message. I had wondered about the dialog tag, and wondered why it wasn't clickable but that makes sense now. I appreciate the reply, don't think I would have guessed them all, especially the rook. Glad that was clarified by the other comment.
