Introduction:
Mortal Kombat 1 is a reboot of the series’ canon. Liu Kang is a god, and he has decided to rewrite history and try to make things better. This being a Mortal Kombat game, however, things are better off when they’re not better, because that means that we get to rip spines out. There is a story campaign here, along with a slew of other modes. The achievement list is long and varied, spread across multiple modes. The list isn’t too tough, but you’ll want to take things methodically, and keep an eye out for some of the sneakier achievements.
Step 1 - Complete the training and play through the main story:
This will give you a good grounding in Mortal Kombat 1, so you will get the hang of its mechanics and also experience the story, which is cool. You will unlock Become A Ninja In No Time (15G), A New Timeline (30G), and What Just Happened?? (50G). Plus, if you're a little wily, then you can also grab Who Was That??? (30G), by replaying Chapter 15.
Step 2 - Play through Invasions Mode:
This mode allows you to hoover up a trove of achievements. You will get a slew of them without really trying – achievements such as It Has Begun!!! (15G), Test Your Might (15G), and Adventure Time (15G) are all basically unmissable in Invasions mode. You will also unlcok Test Your Might (15G) without really trying, and you will almost certainly grab Where’s Blanche (15G) and Take And Deny (15G), too. Plus you will start building toward unlocking more long-game achievements, like Beaten And Broken (15G) and Titan (15G), as well.
Achievements like Ultimate Power (15G) and So Krafty (15G) you will unlock without really trying, as they both involve very basic aspects of Invasions Mode. As you work way toward finishing an Invasions Season, you will naturally unlock Feeling Stronger (10G), Unstoppable (15G), and Juggernaut (30G), as you climb through the levels. And you will unlock Not So Big Now, Are You?? (15G), Who Da Boss?? (15G), and Vanquished (30G) by the time you actually complete a Season.
Step 3 - Play through Tower Mode, Go Online, and Mop-Up:
By going through tower Mode, you can work your way through toward the end of the list. Achievement such as Thank You For Being A Fan!!! (30G), Happy Endings (30G) are fairly easy and straightforward to unlock – the latter helped by the fact that you can set the difficulty to Very Easy and power on through. Puppet Master (15G) as well, will only take you a short while. You can also work your way toward slightly more challening achievements, like High Score, Is That Good? (30G) while also passively working toward other, longer-term achievements, like Rollin’ With My Krew (30G).
Then, jump into the online mode and start playing matches against your fellow-Kombatants across the world. You will be able to unlock Kontender (15G) and Making Friends Is Easy (15G) without any trouble. And achievements like King Slayer (30G) and Buddy System (15G) can be gotten here – through eather sneaky means or through honest slogging. During the mop-up phase, go after achievements like Deadly Assassin (30G), Eye Of The TaiGore (15G), and Annihilation (15G), and the 1000

Well, when Titan Battles are added to the game, and you are able to unlock The Mighty Have Fallen (15G), then the 1000

Conclusion:
Outdoing previous Mortal Kombats in the gore stakes, and boasting a slew of meaningful and genuinely exciting single-player content, alongside the usual online offerings, Mortal Kombat 1 outstrips previous efforts, delivering one of the finest fighting games money can buy.
