Introduction:
Lords of the Fallen is a Soulslike from developer Hexworks. It’s a kind of reboot of the 2014 Lords of the Fallen, and it has stiff competition this year in the Soulslike stakes, from Lies of P. It’s a challenging game, of course, and it’s also a long one. If you want to unlock all the achievements, then it is going to take you over the 80-hour mark, as it requires three playthroughs. You have to play through the game once, and then go into New Game+ with the same character the second two times.
Each of the endings has particular items tied to them, and they also each unlock a secret class. This is why you need more than one playthrough to get every item and spell and piece of gear. Plus, a lot of that actually depends on random drops, which will prolong you quite a way. Let’s jump in!
Duplication Exploit
Now, the first thing to note is: there is a duplication exploit that you can use. It’s sneaky and underhanded, but that’s sort of why it’s brilliant. It will make getting the completion that much easier and quicker, so here is what it is. A co-op player can drop Vigor Skulls – these are the items that you can use to unleash little pockets of Vigor, good for levelling up your character. You can use a cloud save to duplicate these Vigor Skulls. As the person dropping Vigor Skulls, once you have amassed them, close the game app to force a cloud save backup to occur. Launch the game, load your save, join a co-op session, and drop these to a co-op partner, but here's the important part: DO NOT close the game. With the game still running after having dropped all Vigor Skulls, press the Guide button on the controller, highlight the game and press

Remember that in order to receive the full 1000

Step 1: Go for the Adyr Ending and get as many collectibles and quests as possible
Focus on the Adyr Ending in your first run. Check out the Adyr ending guide listed in Lord of the Risen (15G).
This is the evil ending, and it means that you don't cleanse the beacons in the main quest. These are the red pillars of light that shoot up into the sky. Leave them be!
Step 2: Go for the Radiant Ending and the Kukajin Quest
The second playthrough, in New Game+, you want to go for the Radiant ending, which is where you cleanse all of the beacons. It's the "good ending" really, and it's probably the one that most people would instinctively go for. See Fallen (15G) for more details, but basically you want to complete the Kukajin quest in this run, as the previous Adyr ending run makes that impossible. See A Trace of Venom (10G) for specific detail on how to complete this quest.
Step 3: Go for the Umbral Ending, complete the Iron Wayfarer and Paladin Isaac quests, defeat all bosses
The Umbral Ending is a very sneaky one, indeed, and the hardest of the endings to obtain. Check out Back to the Void (15G) for a complete rundown of every criteria that has to be fulfilled to get this one. And you also want to make sure that you complete the Paladin Isaac quest in this playthrough. See Vengeful Reflection (10G) for how to do the Paladin Isaac quest.
Conclusion:
As is expected with any Soulslike game, Lords of the Fallen offers up a decent challenge for all players alike. However, the sheer time to complete is significantly more than many other games in the genre, thanks to needing three playthroughs and tons of random drops to collect all gear in the game. Be prepared to put your time in, and hopefully you can find a good co-op partner for the online achievements. If you made it through the three playthroughs and the grind, congrats on a well earned completion!
