Introduction:
The next great automotive adventure begins with the Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious standalone expansion for Xbox 360! For the first time ever, the Forza experience of thrilling driving and amazing cars is combining with the unstoppable Fast & Furious movie franchise to create an original adventure filled with adrenaline-fueled automotive action.
Tips:
To minimize your time spent playing the game, ignore bucket list challenges and reward smash boards as they are not tied to any achievements and are simply unnecessary to advance in the game. Whenever you need to return to your garage, use the fast travel feature by selecting the garage in the world map and pressing .
Abbreviated Walkthrough:
The game is very linear, but at points you do have options of which car you want to acquire next. In this Roadmap I will give you the best method to minimize your time spent to obtain all 1,000 gamerscore.
First begin the game. You will have to basically watch a Furious 7 trailer before you get to drive anything. You begin in the Lamborghini Huracáne and you must reach the location of the Dodge Charger R/T.
Now it is time to acquire your first car, the Dodge Charger '70. After finishing third or better in the first street race, you will unlock "Fast and Furious" and once you enter your garage for the first time, you will unlock "900 Horses of Detroit Muscle" (all car related achievements don't unlock until you return to your garage).
Now you will start more events to acquire the remaining cars, including the Jeep Wrangler ("Winning's Winning"), Toyota Supra ("10 Second Car"), Plymouth Cuda ("A Quarter Mile at a Time"), McLaren MP1 ("Just don't scratch it"), Dodge Charger '15 ("Fully Charged"), Nissan GT-R ("What do you drift for?"), Dodge Challenger '15 ("Drift to Win"), Bugatti Veyron ("9 Second Car") and the Maserati Ghibli ("Perks of the Job"). The events range from street races, sprint races, circuit races speed zones, and so on.
After finishing the first race against the Nissan GT-R, Tej will notify you that there is a Plymouth Roadrunner in a barn that needs restoring. You will be shown a general area of where the barn is located (see below for exact location). Upon finding the car, you will unlock "Got nothin' but time" almost directly after finding the Plymouth Roadrunner.
At a point in the game, Tej will ask you to take a photo of the Dodge Charger R/T. Enter photo mode, snap a picture and unlock "Selfie." Your last story related achievement requires you to race a cargo plane from Nice to the airfield, this will unlock "How Long Was That Runway."
Mop up:
Now is the time to mop up any achievements you may have missed. Including "Burning Rubber," "Tokyo Drift," "High Flyer," "2 Furious," "2 Fast," "An Inch or a Mile," "Scratch That," "First Draft," "Fast 3,000," "Chain Reaction" and "Wheelman." You will unlock the majority of these over natural progression through the story, but if not, now is the time to work on these.
Conclusion:
The game is a fun tie-in for Fast & Furious 7 that any Forza fan will enjoy. It is a very short game with easy achievements.
