Traverse through 15 sprawling levels and 8 hubs that take you to such locations as Washington D.C., Manhattan, Sokovia, S.H.I.E.L.D. Base and Asgard. Levels include scenes from the movies The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: The First Avenger, Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Unlock and play as your favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, each with special and unique abilities.

All LEGO games follow the same formula. First you play through the story, then replay the levels in Free Play to get 100% in them then you tackle the hubs one at a time. This game is no different. Utilizing this method will maximize your time and you will complete the game sooner. Or, you can shake things up and play in any order you like!

Cheat Codes:
As with all previous LEGO games, using cheat codes do not disable any achievements. At any point in the game, press > ‘Extras’ > ‘Enter Code’. Then enter in the code of your choice below. You can also enter codes in The Collector’s room on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Hellicarrier.

Note: If you use the red brick codes, you still have to locate and purchase the red brick in the game for it to count towards the 100%. And it is possible that using any of the character codes could screw up the character quests in the hubs by them not appearing properly. Use these at your own risk.

Character Abilities:
Sometimes in Free Play you need a certain character to perform a certain task and you don’t know who to use. This list has most of the abilities listed and which character you can use. Chances are you are going to use the same character for an ability all the time, but alternates are listed in case you want to mix things up.

Refer to this post for a list of abilities.

Step 1: Story Mode
There are 12 story and 3 bonus levels to play through, each taking roughly 20-30 minutes, so you’re looking at approximately 8 hours to complete this step. These levels are not difficult at all but you may become stuck in certain areas as to what to do next. If that happens, there is a Youtube walkthrough playlist linked in Step 3 to assist you.

Don’t worry about any collectibles or attaining True Avenger the first time playing as you cannot gather most of them through your story playthrough anyway. Plus, you need certain characters to access certain areas of the level that aren’t available to you in your first playthrough. Just sit back and enjoy the story. You will unlock a minimum of 16 achievements in this step, possibly 17 (“True Avenger”).

Step 2: Free Play Mode Preparation
Note: To have the ability to select characters in Free Play by holding , you first have to complete all 15 story levels. Otherwise, you must visit the blue or red platforms in each hub and change your character that way. From then on, while remaining in that hub, you can hold to change your character, but lose this ability when you leave.

With your story playthrough complete, there is one thing you need to do to make Free Play run smoothly, and that is obtain characters with abilities you are missing. Luckily, you unlock all but two abilities you need for Free Play while playing through the story. The only remaining abilities you need are characters who can Dig and have Cosmic Powers.

Dig Ability - You can purchase Damage Control for only 10,000 studs and he is available early on in the game in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base hub. Other dig characters include Squirrel Girl, Tigra, Moon Boy and Reptil, who are unlocked by doing side missions in the hubs.
Cosmic Power Ability - You unlock Ultimate Ultron when you complete the level ‘Ultron Undone’ but you must purchase him for 500,000 studs. A cheaper alternative is to unlock the character Korvac in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base hub. He doesn’t cost anything and is probably the most versatile character in the game as he has all but a few abilities (flight, laser beam, cosmic powers, use electric panels, super strength and pass through grates, to name a few). You will probably be using this character a lot.

Characters with the abilities Grow, Shrink and Regenerate Health are also not unlocked while playing through the story, but these are unnecessary to obtain any collectibles in Free Play.

Step 3: Free Play Mode
It is recommended that you complete the story first before going back and playing any levels in Free Play.

Once you have completed the story, Free Play opens up for all the levels and the hubs. Since you have all but two character abilities, you can do them in any order, but it is suggested that you complete Free Play in the levelsbefore the hubs to get them out of the way first while they’re still fresh in your mind.

Each story level contains four gold bricks: completing the level (which you should have gotten playing the level the first time), attaining True Avenger, finding all 10 minikits and rescuing Stan Lee. Each level also contains three character tokens and a red brick. Playing through each level again should take about the same time each as it did playing through the story, so it’ll take about 8-10 hours to accomplish this step. Play through each level and complete them 100% before moving onto the next one so you don’t have to backtrack and play it again.

Step 4: Hubs
Note: When you start each hub race, there are times for Bronze, Silver and Gold. To obtain a vehicle token, you must finish the race with a Gold medal.

Note: Some character quests do not appear in the hubs until you’ve completed the story levels (characters unlock when their corresponding movie level is completed). It is highly recommended you complete the story before tackling any hub collectibles.

You gain full access to 5 of the 8 hubs after completing the level ‘Earth’s Mightiest’. The last three are unlocked through your progress of the Avengers: Age of Ultron movie levels. When you have access to all 8 hubs, visit each of them in a single session to unlock “Globe Trotter”.

Each hub has side missions, fetch quests, puzzles and small battles to unlock character tokens and gold bricks. Races award you with vehicle tokens. For each of these, you will need certain characters with unique abilities. Luckily, you unlock all but two abilities in your story playthrough. The only other abilities you need are a character that can Dig and a character with Cosmic Powers (see Step 2).

You can tackle this however you like; complete one hub at a time or do one category at a time (rescue all Stan Lee’s, complete all races, etc.). However, it is recommended that you complete one hub 100% before moving onto the next one to reduce backtracking and to maximize your play time, but it’s all up to you. To see the total number of what you’ve already completed in the hub that you are in, press on the controller and the pause menu will show your current progress and percentage. You can toggle your hub completion versus your total game completion by pressing .

This step will take you approximately 12-15 hours to complete, depending on how you utilize your time.

Step 5: Mop Up & 100%
To see what percentage you have, press and it is at the top of the screen. Make sure you purchase every variation of the characters, purchase all the vehicles and red bricks, acquire all the gold bricks, and so on. Use the bullet list in “I'll Do It Myself” as a checklist and make sure you’ve obtained everything.

If you haven’t unlocked the remaining achievements in your playthrough, now is the time to do it. Aside from attaining 100%, there are some random achievements to complete:
- There are 16 character related achievements
- “You Asked For It” - stop 10 crimes in Manhattan
- “Perfect Pannapictagraphist” - view all minikit comic pages
- “Going Knowhere” - activate all 18 red bricks at the same time
- “Be Worthy” - create and play as a custom character equipped with Mjolnir

The Masters of Evil Level Pack

Introduction:
Baron Zemo and his Masters of Evil are up to no good when they attempt to lure out the Avengers and defeat them in this re-telling of the classic 1963 comic book adventure.

Classic Captain Marvel Level Pack

As you travel around Manhattan, Agent Coulson will alert you of a crime being committed in the immediate area. An icon will appear on your minimap. Go to that location to thwart the crime. Crimes range from purse or bag snatching, someone getting harassed by multiple assailants to chasing a truck around the streets. Stop 10 of these in a single session (without returning to the main menu, playing another game or turning your console off) and the achievement is yours.

Witness the 100% Stud Fountain inside Avengers Tower
You will obtain 100% in this game once you have satisfied these requirements:
- Collect all 250 Gold Bricks
  - Complete each story level and bonus level (15 bricks)
  - Attain ‘True Believer’ in each story level and bonus level (15 bricks)
  - Collect 10 minikits in each story level and bonus level (15 bricks)
  - Rescue 1 Stan Lee in Peril in each story level and bonus level (15 bricks)
  - Rescue the remaining Stan Lee in Peril, 1 in each of the 7 hubs and 13 in Manhattan (20 bricks) (refer to “I Am Iron Stan”)
  - Collect the remaining gold bricks in each of the 8 hubs by completing puzzles and character side-quests (170 bricks)
- Unlock and purchase all 18 Red Bricks (refer to “Going Knowhere”)

When you have achieved 100%, land on the Avengers Tower landing pad and walk straight into the elevator. When you exit, head to the second level (there is a bar on either side and a lounge area in the middle). In the middle of the lounge area is a device with a switch. Pull the switch and a colored globe will drop from the ceiling, studs will start falling and spew from the fountain, which will unlock the achievement.

Note: To purchase all 63 vehicles, make sure that you visit both the red and blue platforms located in the hubs as all vehicles are not accessible from one color platform.

On Your Left

Play as any version of Falcon and as any version of Cap, while in Washington D.C.
The first version of Captain America you unlock is the Age of Ultron variant, which unlocks automatically after completing the level ‘Struck Off the List’. Throughout the first Avengers movie levels, you unlock a few more variants of Captain America, all of which will work for this achievement.

Falcon is unlocked automatically when you complete the level ‘Lack of Insight’ (which is unlocked after you complete the final first Avengers movie level ‘Earth’s Mightiest’).

After you’ve unlocked both characters, travel to the Washington D.C. hub. When you land, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform). Then select a version of Captain America that you’ve unlocked. Press to switch characters and again hold for the character grid and select Falcon. The achievement will unlock shortly after.
Warriors Three

Play as Fandral, Hogun and Volstagg in one sitting
Note: You must play as each character in a single session, meaning you can’t return to the main menu, play another game or turn your console off before spawning as all three characters.

Fandral and Volstagg are both unlocked automatically when you complete the level ‘Lost in the Aether’ (which is unlocked after you complete the final first Avengers movie level ‘Earth’s Mightiest’).

Hogun is also unlocked in the level ‘Lost in the Aether’ via a character token. You can collect it in either Story Mode or Free Play. In Story Mode, it is in the first “section” of the level (in the third area where you have to break down the door). Use Sif to put out the fires with her shield. In Free Play, he is located in the ‘Part A’ checkpoint. Once you’ve unlocked him, you can purchase him for 30,000 studs.

After you’ve unlocked all three characters, travel to any hub. When you land, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform). Then select one character to spawn. Repeat this process two more times for the remaining characters. Once you select the third character, the achievement will unlock.

Transform from Lou Ferrigno to Hulk (Lou Ferrigno)
To unlock Lou Ferrigno, you must complete the four missions he gives you in Manhattan. Refer to the video below for those missions.

When you’ve completed all four missions, you can purchase him for 10,000 studs. Once you’ve done that, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform) and select Lou Ferrigno. Hold to “transform” into the Hulk, and the achievement will unlock shortly after.

Play as Vision - both playable characters
Vision is automatically unlocked upon completing the level ‘Ultron Undone’. To get this achievement, both of your characters need to be Vision.

After you’ve completed the level, travel to any hub. When you land, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform) and select Vision. Press to switch characters and again hold for the character grid and again select Vision. The achievement will unlock shortly after.
House Party Protocol

Play as every Iron Man variant in one session
Note: You must play as each character in a single session, meaning you can’t return to the main menu, play another game or turn your console off before spawning as all characters.

For this achievement, you first need to unlock every Iron Man variant (there’s 14 of them) then switch to and play as each of them in a single session. Some of the variants are automatically unlocked after completing a level while others you need to either solve puzzles or do side missions for other characters in the hubs. Upon spawning with the last set of armor, the achievement will unlock.
- Iron Man (MK 1) - token located in the Hall of Armour in Tony Stark’s mansion in the Malibu Hub (needs Telekinetic Powers ability) for 10,000 studs
- Iron Man (MK 5) - token located in the garage in Tony Stark’s mansion in the Malibu Hub (need Electrical Panel, Scan Vision and Repair abilities) for 50,000 studs
- Iron Man (MK 6) - automatically unlocked after completing the level ‘Shakespeare in the Park’
- Iron Man (MK 7) - automatically unlocked after completing the level ‘Avengers Assemble’
- Iron Man (MK 16) - token is located in the level ‘No Strings On Me’ in Free Play (Part C) for 16,000 studs
- Iron Man (MK 17 - Heartbreaker) - token is located in a secret area of Tony Stark’s mansion in the Malibu Hub (need Pass through LEGO Grates ability) for 17,000 studs

A Funny Thing Happened

Drive Lola as Agent Coulson
Lola is Agent Coulson’s red convertible. To unlock Lola, you must complete a race in Manhattan that starts near West Harlem and finishes near Washington Heights (refer to the video below). Once it’s unlocked, it can be purchased for 75,000 studs at any blue or red platform.

To unlock Agent Coulson, refer to “A Magical Place” for more information.

Once you have both of them unlocked, travel to any hub and find a blue or red platform. Activate it and select the circle with the vehicles on it and choose Lola to spawn on the platform. When that is done, activate the platform again and select the circle with the characters on it and change your character to Agent Coulson (or hold to bring up the character grid if you have that ability). Enter the vehicle and the achievement will unlock shortly after.

Young Avengers

Play as: Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Hulkling, Wiccan, America Chavez and Speed in the same session
Note: You must play as each character in a single session, meaning you can’t return to the main menu, play another game or turn your console off before spawning as all five characters.

Hawkeye (Kate Bishop)’s token is located on the roof of the house in the Barton’s Farm Hub for 75,000 studs. You need a character with the Freeze ability (Loki) to freeze water around the chimney for the token to appear and then fly up to it.

Hulkling’s token is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘Breaking Hearts’, at the end of the main street in the Sokovia Hub for 75,000 studs.

Wiccan’s token is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘Thor Loser’, in a cave just south of the Avengers Facility in Manhattan for 150,000 studs.

America Chavez’s token is unlocked in the level ‘Avengers Assemble’ in Story Mode for 70,000 studs.

Speed’s token is unlocked after completing Lou Ferrigno’s third mission, ‘Getting Shirty’, east of the Roxxon building in Manhattan for 120,000 studs.

After you’ve unlocked and purchased all five characters, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform). Then select one character to spawn. Repeat this process four more times for the remaining characters. Once you select the fifth character, the achievement will unlock.
Beyond

Playing as Aldrich Killian: die and respawn
Aldrich Killian is unlocked in the level ‘Ready A.I.M. Fire’ via a character token. You can collect it in either Story Mode or Free Play. In Story Mode, he is in the first section of the level (Tony Stark’s Malibu house). In Free Play, he is located in the ‘Part A’ checkpoint. Once you’ve unlocked him, you can purchase him for 85,000 studs.

This is easily unlocked if you replay a level in Free Play. To replay a level, while in a hub, press and select ‘Go to Space’. Then select any level and choose to play it in Free Play. Select Aldrich Killian as your character. When it starts, just allow him to be defeated, and when you respawn the achievement will unlock.

Visit all Hub locations

Note: Despite what the achievement description says, you must visit each hub in a single session, meaning you can’t return to the main menu, play another game or turn your console off until you visit all 8 hubs.

For this achievement, all you need to do is visit each of the 8 hubs. To access them, when you are in Free Play, press and select ‘Go to Space’. From here, you can replay any level or visit any hub. Move your ship to one of the flagged locations and press twice to travel to that area.

While you travel to most of these hubs during the story, they are not fully accessible until after you’ve completed the levels below.

There are 8 hubs:
- Asgard - accessible after completing ‘Earth’s Mightiest’
- Malibu - accessible after completing ‘Earth’s Mightiest’
- Manhattan - accessible after completing ‘Earth’s Mightiest’

Create a Custom Character

After the level ‘Shakespeare in the Park’, you can free roam around the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier for the first time. Starting in the Laboratory, make your way through the door on the right. Walk away from the screen to the end of the hallway and you end up in the Intelligence Centre. Walk right down the stairs to the Medical Bay.

On the right hand wall are the custom character generators. Step on the circle and press to enter and then press to select a custom template. Move the selections along the bottom to change anything out them (name, weapon, random generator) and press to select. Once you have changed what you want, press and the achievement will unlock.
Giant-Sized MARVEL

Grow Ant-Man, Black Goliath, and Fin Fang Foom in one sitting
Ant Man (Classic) is unlocked upon completing the second Lou Ferrigno mission. Once you’ve unlocked him, you can purchase him for 250,000 studs. Refer to “A Startling Metamorphosis” for more information.

Black Goliath is unlocked in the South Africa hub. You need to destroy 12 silver LEGO statues. Once you’ve unlocked him, you can purchase him for 175,000 studs. Refer to the video below for the locations.

To unlock Fin Fang Foom, you must complete the mission it gives you in Manhattan. Once you’ve unlocked it, you can purchase it for 250,000 studs. Refer to the video below for the mission.

After you’ve unlocked all three characters, travel to any hub. When you land, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform). Then select one character to spawn. Hold to transform them to their giant-size variant. Repeat this process two more times for the remaining characters. Once you select the third character and transform them, the achievement will unlock.

To unlock this achievement, you first need to rescue all 35 Stan Lee’s. There is one in each of the 15 story levels, one in each of the 7 hubs and 13 in Manhattan.

After you find all 35 Stan Lee’s, his character is available to purchase for 50,000 studs. Once he’s bought, select his character from the grid to play as him then hold to change into one of three Stan variants. Simply select ‘Stanbuster’ in the top left corner to unlock the achievement.

Agent Coulson is automatically unlocked after completing the level ‘Struck Off the List’ when you are at the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base.

This is easily unlocked if you replay a level in Free Play. To replay a level, while in a hub, press and select ‘Go to Space’. Then select any level and choose to play it in Free Play. Select Agent Coulson as your character. When it starts, just allow him to be defeated, and when you respawn the achievement will unlock.
Stiff Upper Lip

Play as Captain Britain, Union Jack, Spitfire, Agent Carter and Mandarin (Trevor Slattery)
Captain Britain’s token is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘Trouble Brewing’, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. for 250,000 studs.

Union Jack’s token is located on a roof in a locked box in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Base. You need to use Black Widow’s stealth ability to activate four switches on the ledges on the side of the building to open the box. Collect the token and purchase it for 75,000 studs.

Spitfire’s token is located in a blue container on a roof next to a building surrounded by eight switches in the Novi Grid Town Square in the Sokovia Hub. Use Quicksilver to jump on a Speed Boost Pad and run around the building activating all eight switches, which opens the box. Collect the token and purchase it for 30,000 studs.

Agent Carter is automatically unlocked after completing the level ‘Anger Management’ in Story Mode.

Mandarin (Trevor Slattery) is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘Pandering to Mandarin’, on the beach (near the blue platform) of the Malibu Hub for 3,000 studs.

After you’ve unlocked and purchased all five characters, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform). Then select one character to spawn. Repeat this process four more times for the remaining characters. Once you select the fifth character, the achievement will unlock.
Over the Moon

Play as Moon Knight, Moondragon, Moon Boy in one session
Note: You must play as each character in a single session, meaning you can’t return to the main menu, play another game or turn your console off before spawning as all three characters.

Moon Knights’s token is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘Under Cover of Knight’, in East Harlem in Manhattan for 75,000 studs.

Moondragon’s token is located on the HMS Churchill boat in the South Africa Hub. You need to destroy the Silver LEGO chest, build the pieces and flip the switch to get behind the door with the red beams. Use Black Widow or Tony Stark to activate the Technology Panel to jump start the generator which opens a large door that contains the token. Collect it and purchase it for 80,000 studs.

Moon Boy’s token is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘Jurassic Cover-Up’, in the Barton’s Farm Hub (he’s standing next to Devil Dinosaur) for 5,000 studs.

After you’ve unlocked and purchased all three characters, hold to bring up the character grid (if you can’t do this yet, visit a blue or red platform). Then select one character to spawn. Repeat this process two more times for the remaining characters. Once you select the third character, the achievement will unlock.

Iron Fist’s token is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘How Now, Shou-Lao’, in the East Village in Manhattan for 75,000 studs.

Daredevil’s token is unlocked after completing his mission, ‘Dockside Barney’, on the Docks along the west coast of Manhattan (north of Roxxon) for 250,000 studs.

Jewel (Jessica Jones)’s token is unlocked after completing her mission, ‘Au Pair Not There’, east of Central Park in the Upper East Side of Manhattan for 40,000 studs.

Collecting all 10 minikits within a level unlocks one comic page. For this achievement, you first have to collect all 150 minikits from all 15 levels of the game. Then, go to The Collector’s room on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier and walk over to the terminal on the right. Press to access the terminal and then scroll through all 15 comic pages. When you view the last one, the achievement will unlock.

Turn on all Red Brick Extras at the same time
There are 18 red bricks: 15 are hidden within the levels and 3 are obtainable immediately in The Collector’s room on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier. For this achievement, you are required to have all 18 red bricks activated at the same time.

To obtain the 15 bricks in each level, you need to locate The Collector in each of them. He will send you on a quest to retrieve an item. Find it, bring it back to him and he will reward you with a red brick. You need27,700,000 studs total to buy them all. Refer to the video below for each red brick location and the location of The Collector’s room.

Note: You do not unlock Thor as a playable character until the level ‘Avengers Assemble’ but you cannot return to the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier until after you complete the level ‘Earth’s Mightiest’. Therefore, you cannot unlock this achievement until you have completed that level.

Refer to “Create a Super Hero” for more information on where the custom character generator is located on the Helicarrier.

Step on the circle and press to enter the generator and then press to select a custom template. Move the selections along the bottom until the ‘Weapons’ menu item is selected. Press and the third item from the left will be Thor’s Hammer (Mjolnir). Press to select it. Then press to back out and press to play as that character to unlock the achievement.

Quick as a Cat

Complete any race in the HUB using the Black Panther Skycycle

The Black Panther Skycycle is included with the ‘Classic Black Panther’ level. In the Manhattan hub, there is both a land race and a red platform sitting on a dock along the eastern edge of the city just north of the Queensboro Bridge (almost directly below the Hellicarrier). Step on the platform and activate it. The Skycycle is along the bottom row. Select it to spawn and press to enter the vehicle.

Now move over to the starting line and press . The Skycycle has very sluggish controls, so it’s best to anticipate where you have to go. The race will take you north through an underpass into oncoming traffic through Yorkville where you emerge in East Harlem. Take a left around a corner and at the next corner turn left again. The finish line is at the next intersection.

Of course, feel free to select any race in Manhattan that you find easy. Note that the Skycycle is also available from blue platforms, so if you find another race in another hub easier, go for it. Also, if you know where the land race ends, you can place the Skycycle at the last marker then use a speed runner like Quicksilver to run through the race, jump on the vehicle at the end and finish the race on the Skycycle. Note: To make the Skycycle fly, hold , but the flying controls are worse than the ground controls. (thanks MathGuy42).
Panther's Rage
