Introduction
LocoCycle is an action game by Twisted Pixel where you play as a motorcycle who is dragging her mechanic behind her. IRIS (the motorcycle) wants to go to the Freedom Rally, but Big Arms, the company that paid to manufacture her is trying to get her back or destroy her.

Upgrade Note
I would upgrade in this order:

  1. Melee
  2. Turbo
  3. Health
  4. Weapons

Don't be afraid to use all your points after every level, doing so will allow you to do better in later levels, which will allow you to earn more points per level.

The reason I recommend upgrading in this order is because you will be able to fully upgrade your melee ability before reaching level 5-2 and will be able to get "Champion Streaker" without having to replay the level and not having your weapons upgraded doesn't seem to affect your ranking.

Step 1: Story
Just play through all the levels. You don't have to worry about getting A Ranks on the levels. It is not required for any of the achievements and I'm not sure that it is even possible on a few of them until IRIS is upgraded. However, the better you do the more points you will have for upgrades and extras and the less replay you will have to do. This will get you most of the achievements in the game.

Step 2: Garage
Now from the main menu go to the garage. You should have enough points to purchase everything here so do that now. This will get you "Big Movie Watchings", "All Game Secrets Revealed", and "Behind the Scenes Bonus DVD". If you don't have enough points to purchase everything go back to a level you did poorly on the first time through and with IRIS fully upgraded you should be able to do much better. The reason you want to replay a level you did poorly in is because of the way points work. When you replay a level you get the points you earned minus the points you earned previously so if you play a level you did well on you will get very little out of it.

Step 3: Mop-Up
Finish off any of the random achievements you have left. Most of these can be done on level 1-1. "Pablo Thanks You"can be easily done on level 1-3. "Champion Streaker" will need to be done on level 5-2.

Conclusion
LocoCycle is an interesting and decently fun game. You will have another 400 before you know it!

    Boss Fight:
Once again your fighting your old buddy Spike. This fight is a Street Fighteresque battle, including controls. I'm not actually sure it is possible to lose this battle, because whenever Spike knocks IRIS down Pablo gives her a pep talk and gives her energy bar back.

Here is a video showing this battle:

  • Finished Final Level.

    Story Related. Can't be missed.

This will unlock as soon as you complete The Final Level.

For this level you will be stationary using to aim and to shoot. Some enemies will have a red target area that you must shoot them in to take them out.

Here is a video showing how to complete the level:

  • Countered 50 total enemies.

When an enemy is getting ready to attack it will have a red target reticule over it hit :abut: when this happens to counter the attack. You need to counter a total of 50 times to earn this achievement.

  • Countered 150 total enemies.

When an enemy is getting ready to attack it will have a red target reticule over it hit :abut: when this happens to counter the attack. You need to counter a total of 150 times to earn this achievement. You should get this by the end of Level 5-2 by just playing the game.

  • Combo streak reached 250.

You must reach a combo streak of 250. You will first be able to earn this around level 4-2. Just make sure to keep attacking the enemies and countering or throwing Pablo if you have the upgrade that causes a Pablo attack to interrupt an enemies attack to avoid an enemy attack breaking your combo streak.

  • Combo streak reached 1,000.

You must reach a combo streak of 1000. You will only be able to get this on level 5-2 and you will need to have your melee attacks fully upgraded. Just make sure to keep attacking the enemies and countering or throwing Pablo to avoid an enemy attack breaking your combo streak.

  • Blew up 200 civilian cars.

Once you've upgraded IRIS' weapons to the point where she shoots missiles as well as the normal ammo just keep shooting at oncoming traffic and you will have this before long.

    Alternate method by Cilisien:
In Level 4-2 you can get this during the part where you have to control the truck. Just keep ramming into oncoming traffic.

Here is a video showing method one:

  • Took out a Big Arms car using only melee.

You must beat a car to death with :xbut: or :ybut:. If you shoot or ram them at all it will not count for the achievement. This is easily done on level 1-1 once IRIS is fully upgraded.

  • Blew up Leaper Agent's car before he reached you.

You must destroy one of the cars with the guy that jumps on IRIS before the guy jumps off the car. This is easily done on Level 1-1 after IRIS is fully upgraded. Just keep your fire focused on the Leaper Agent's car as soon as it appears on screen.

    Here is a video:

  • Beat a tanker truck sequence in less than 60 seconds.

This is the hardest achievement in the game. You must destroy the three tankers in Level 1-1 in under one minute. You will need to have IRIS' weapons and turbo fully upgraded. You need to keep turbo on except when it is recharging and avoid the hitting the cars protecting the tankers. Attacking them will just slow you down.

  • Took no damage during a whole level.

You must beat a level without taking any damage. This is easily done on Level 1-3 after IRIS is fully upgraded.

  • Maxed level up on all weapons and abilities.

After each level you can spend the points on upgrades for IRIS. You will get this achievement once IRIS is fully upgraded. You should get this when you upgrade after level 5-2.

I would recommend upgrading in this order:

    1. Melee
    2. Turbo
    3. Health
    4. Weapons

Don't be afraid to use all your points after every level, doing so will allow you to do better in later levels, which will allow you to earn more points per level.

From the main menu go to the Garage and in the Game section purchase everything.

Here is a video if you still need help:

  • Unlocked all bonus content.

Purchase all upgrades for IRIS and everything in the Garage.

You should have plenty of points after one playthrough to purchase everything. If you don't have enough points go back and play levels that you did poorly on and with IRIS upgraded you should be able to do a lot better and earn more points. The way the points for replaying levels work is that you get the points you earned minus the points you earned for previous playthroughs so you have to do better than the first time to get any more points out of a level.
