Introduction:
Welcome to Press Plays, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood. Like PP's previous instalment - Max and the Magic Marker - the game plays very much in the same way and is a side scrolling platformer. The game is based around you playing as Max on an adventure to save your brother Felix after you cast a spell to get rid of him, be it by accident.
With 30 achievements to gain for a total of 400, it may seem quite a lot for a simple XBLA game, but they're all fairly straight forward and easy to unlock. All will be obtainable through the games story and if by chance you miss any, you can simply go back and select the chapter you're missing one in.
Playthrough:
You should get most, if not all the achievements in one playthrough. Like I've mentioned above, if by chance you miss one, you can go back and select a chapter from the main menu. The game plays the way that if you get hit by an enemy it's a 1-hit kill, so be careful while playing. Saying that, the checkpoint system in this is quite good. So if you do die, you'll most likely start back a few steps behind where you died.
Misc:
Most of the achievements in the game are made up doing certain things using your marker to draw. The good thing is that a lot of stuff can be boosted on the spot or by restarting a checkpoint. So look out for chances where this is possible if you want to get them out of the way. The achievements related to not dying aren't as hard as they may seem, and after a couple of practice runs you should have them nailed.
Collectables:
There's a two sets of collectables in the game. They consist of the Evil Eyes and Amulets. For a guide on the location of these, please go HERE.

Conclusion:
Overall the game is not hard at all and quite fun to 100%. Some achievements will take a few tries due to you not being allowed to die, but they're nothing that will stop you from getting the 100% completion in a hurry.
