Introduction:
Welcome to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Training Lair guide for Kinect! Just like most free Kinect games, this game is quite short and doesn't provide much to keep you interested in playing. It is possible to get all of the achievements in one playthrough, but chances are you will need to play a few times to get the hang of it for some of the achievements.
Step 1 - Playthrough in Each Lair:
There are five lairs you must play through in order to complete the game. They will always be in the following order:
- Training lair.
- Donatello lair.
- Michaelangelo lair.
- Raphael lair.
- Leonardo lair.
For each of the turtles' lairs, you'll be equipped with their weapons. The ones that'll give you issues, if any, will be Raphael's and Michaelangelo's. Raphael's sais can be thrown and some objects are at the edge of the screen and require you to hit them with a thrown sai. At times the sais won't throw properly and the aiming may be a bit off. Michaelangelo's nunchucks are quite loose and will continue to sway even when you are standing still. The overall goal is to hit every target and avoid all bombs and shurikens.
Step 2 - Uploading Facebook Pictures:
You can wait until you finish a game to take a photo and then post it to Facebook, but the easiest way is to go to Gallery from the main menu. You can take photos and post them to Facebook one at a time. Doing it this way will take around 20 minutes.
Step 3 - Mop Up:
If you have any miscellaneous achievements left you can replay the game over and over as many times as you'd like. The game is very short, but the "Terrapin Elite" achievement can be challenging.
Conclusion:
The game isn't too difficult but have patience and keep an eye out for the flashing red and green lights. As long as you keep moving you should be able to hit every object with no problem.
