Introduction:
Toybox Turbos is a kind of a re-make of the classic Micro Machines games. It was developed by the same studio that made the original Micro Machines games: Codemasters. The game has only 16 achievements and only 1 of them has an online requirement. But don't be scared, it's only for taking part in an online race so you don't even need to win anything! Have fun!

TIPS:
- If you're struggling with getting 3 stars from an event, just leave it and come back with a better vehicle. NOTE: You can come back to finish your 3 stars with the boss' vehicle as well. You unlock them automatically when you beat the bosses.
- For the later time trials you should use the Racer (Formula).
- Try changing vehicles a lot. The fastest vehicle is not always the best choice.
- Use shortcuts! If you can't seem to locate them due to the fast pace of the races, just observe your opponents. They tend to use the shortcuts a lot.

Step 1: Multiplayer Achievements
At first you might want to get the multiplayer achievements out of the way.
From the Main Menu go to Multiplayer > Local Match. Now connect your second controller and press to join in. Then press to continue. Leave the race settings as they are and press to start the race. You can just idle until the race ends and you get the "With Friends Like These..." achievement.

Now go to Multiplayer > Xbox Live Match and press to continue. Choose Quick Match and you should join a game. Same thing as above, you don't need to win the race but you might as well enjoy the game and play! When the race ends you get "Totally Random"achievement.

Step 2: Single Player
Now you should just head straight into Single Player and start playing through the Cups. There's a total of 7 Cups which consist of 5 events each. You're going to try to get 3 stars from each event while working towards "That's Dedication!" achievement. At some point when selecting a vehicle, press to customize the color of the vehicle to unlock "Paint Job". Here are the achievements you should unlock during this step in the order I unlocked them:

"Paint Job"
"The New World"
"Don't Stop!"
"What's The Time?"
"Toybox Tour"
"Boss Hog"
"Collector"
"That's Dedication!"

NOTE: The achievement "Collector" didn't unlock for me until I went to the Garage from Main Menu.

Step 3: Mop up
By the time you get 3 stars from every event you should have most of the achievements already. If you're still missing "Loaded", the best place to grind coins is probably an Escape event. I used the last Escape event where you need to reach 6000 cm to get three stars (Runaway Marbles). Just pick Dragster as your vehicle and use the two shortcuts and you'll gain 18,000 easily in about 2 minutes.

Conclusion:
Toybox Turbos is quite enjoyable 1000. On top of that it's also fast and easy.

Unlock a new cup
You'll unlock this achievement after winning the first boss in the game and unlocking your 2nd Cup "Off-Road Rush".

Complete an event on every track in single player
You'll unlock this achievement in your 6th Cup "Emergency Dash". You don't need to get 3 stars in the events. You just need to complete them.
One Down...

Achieve a 3 star rating for every event in a single cup

You need to get 3 stars from each of the 5 events in a single cup. You will be given the requirements for 3 stars at the start of the event.
That's Dedication!

Achieve a 3 star rating for every event in the game
You need to get 3 stars from each of the 5 events in all of the 6 Cups in the game. That's a total of 35 events and 105 stars. If you're struggling with an event check some of the tips from the roadmap.
What's The Time?

Achieve 3 stars in a Countdown event
You need to get 3 stars from any Countdown event. You will encounter your first Countdown event "Breakfast Time" in Cup 4.
Don't Stop!

Achieve 3 stars in an Escape event
You need to get 3 stars from any Escape event. You will encounter your first Escape event "Volcano!" in Cup 2.
Pole Position

Achieve 3 stars in a Classic race
You need to get 3 stars from any Classic race. The first race "Sink or Swim" in Cup 1 is a Classic race.
Tick Tock

Achieve 3 stars in a Time Trial event
You need to get 3 stars from any Time Trial event. You will encounter your first Time Trial event "Time Sink" in Cup 1.
Heavy Traffic

Achieve 3 stars in an Overtake event
You need to get 3 stars from any Overtake event. You will encounter your first Overtake event "Cooking On Gas" in Cup 1.
Big Spender

Purchase any vehicle
When starting an event you are given the option to choose your vehicle. You can buy new vehicles by scrolling to the right in this screen. The achievement unlocks right after you purchase your first new vehicle.
Collector

Purchase all vehicles
You will need to purchase all of the available vehicles and also unlock all of them. This means you need to beat all of the bosses to gain access to their vehicles as well. This achievement unlocks right after you win the final boss if you have bought all of the vehicles prior to this event.

NOTE: You might need to go to the Garage from Main Menu for this to unlock.
Paint Job

Repaint a vehicle with a custom colour
When choosing your vehicle for an event, press to customize your vehicles color. The achievement unlocks after you change a color.
Boss Hog

Defeat all boss vehicles

Each Cup has a boss and you need to complete all of the 4 events in the Cup before meeting the boss. You don't need to get 3 stars in the events to unlock the bosses. All of the boss events are Elimination races. You both start with 4 points and whenever either one of you gets eliminated you lose 1 point and the other gains a point. If neither of you gets eliminated completely, a text "Play-Off" jumps onto the screen at some point. After that you won't be losing lives anymore but the first to get to 8 points wins.
Loaded

Earn 1,000,000 coins

This will most likely be your last achievement. It is cumulative so you don't need to have 1,000,000 coins in your account at once. You will be gaining coins towards this achievement while progressing through the events. You shouldn't worry about this before you have unlocked all of the other achievements. The fastest event to grind the coins is probably an Escape event. They are fast and you get a good amount of coins. You're also racing by yourself so no need to worry about someone shooting you off! The Escape event "Runaway Marbles" will give you 18,000 for getting 3 stars. The Event takes about 2 minutes to complete and it's quite easy with the Dragster. Remember to use the shortcuts!

Play a local match with more than 1 player
