Honestly ms are pathetic at this point, i turned my xbox on at 6.30 pm and tried every 20 mins to sign in and 4 hours later im in but no store, no messages and achs not working. If, like me, you were hoping to settle down and kick back with a video game on your Xbox this evening, then you're shit out of luck. Xbox Live is currently down.
According to Microsoft's Xbox Status page, Xbox Live is experiencing a 'major outage', impacting the ability to sign in using your account. This essentially means your Xbox console is about as much use as a paperweight until the problem is resolved.
The outage started several hours ago, at which point, Xbox Support acknowledged the issue. “We are aware that some users have been disconnected from Xbox Live. We're investigating!,” the account posted to X/Twitter.
“Our investigation is taking longer than expected, thank you for your patience and reports!,” Xbox Support followed up around an hour ago. Hopefully, the Xbox Live outage will be sorted soon, and we can all get back to playing.
