Ahhh, 2013! It was a biggie! Not just because the UK found horse meat in some of their burgers or because Manchester United’s Alex Ferguson retired after 26-years at the club, oh no. And it’s not because Andy Murrey won Wimbledon or Nelson Mandela died either, although both seismic pieces of news. 2013 was, of course, the year that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launched across the globe. 2013 also saw the release of Frozen, Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel and Brooklyn 99’s first season, while Daft Punk managed to ‘Get Lucky’ with an absolute banger of a track. On top of that 2013 was also the year that saw LucasArts close its doors after an incredible stint in the games industry, THQ declared bankruptcy and subsequently closed, while Grand Theft Auto V released (for the first time) on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in September. Tomb Raider also got rebooted in 2013. Here’s 2013’s best Xbox games.
