Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - All Legendary Enemies Guide

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor - All Legendary Enemies Guide

Matt Lorrigan

As well as your usual assortment of vicuous creatures and white-clad stormtroopers, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will also see Cal Kestis pitted against some more deadly foes around the galaxy. These “Legendary Adversaries” come with their own beefed-up boss health bar, as well as some new moves, and you'll need to defeat all thirteen if you want to unlock the I'm a Living Legend achievement.

Luckily, we've already hunted each of these thirteen foes down, so that you don't have to, and provided all the maps and tips you'll need to take them down.

Koboh

Southern Reach - Beetu Deetu

Beetu Deetu is one of the easier Legendary Adversaries, and you'll encounter this droid early in the game, during your first time on Koboh, not far from the Southern Reach Meditation Point, right next to the Friendly Creature in the Derelict Dam. Deflect its blasters, push its rockets back at it, and you'll take it out in no time.

Derelict Dam - Gorocco Matriarch

When you first land on Koboh, you'll likely spot the Gorocco Matriarch from across a vast gap in the Derelict Dam, but you won't actually be able to fight this she-beast until you've unlocked Force Lift and Force Slam, and return later in the game. There's not too much strategy to this one, other than to quickly dodge away as soon as it starts glowing, and take advantage of Force Slow as much as possible. Defeat it, and you'll find a Stim Upgrade nearby,

Viscid Bog - The Mire Terror

Once you've unlocked Force Lift in the old Clone Wars ship, you'll be able to access the little island that The Mire Terror resides on in the Viscid Bog. From the meditation point, head across to the lift up to Koboh, but swing a right instead and lift up three natural platforms to clear the way ahead. The Mire Terror is just on the island up ahead, protecting a Stim Upgrade.

Sodden Grotto - Rancor

The Sodden Grotto is accessible from Hunter's Quarry, not far from the Rambler's Reach meditation point, through a mine entrance. Traverse your way through the grotto to a final, boss fight-sized cave, to find the Rancor hidden inside. Dodge behind it when it attacks, and get some good hits in, as the Rancor is pretty slow. It shouldn't take too long to take down.

Yurt Barracks - The Massiff

You won't be able to fight The Massiff on your first time through the Yurt Barracks, but before long you'll have the new Force Lift ability, and you'll be able to return to this location to take on this Legendary Adversary.

From the Lucrehulk Core meditation point, head towards the Yurt Barracks, but stop in the corridor between the two doors. Head right, climb up the wall at the end of the corridor, and then turn around and lift the door ahead of you. The Massiff is behind here, and puts up little challenge if you time your parries well. Attack relentlessly with a fast stance to effectively stunlock it, and watch that health bar drain.

Fogged Expanse - Vile Bilemaw

The Vile Bilemaw is actually accessible during your first run through the Fogged Expanse, but don't be surprised if you miss it, as it's accessible through a pretty well-hidden mud slide. You can see it's location on the map below.

Once you're here, you'll find that the Vile Bilemaw isn't much more deadly than it's not-so-vile brethren. Try to stay as close to its side and back as you can, keeping an eye out to dodge when it's about to roll. Jump over any dust clouds it makes when it stomps, and use Force Slow to give yourself time to hit its unarmoured rear when you can.

Untamed Downs - E3-VE3

This Droideka is found in an area behind a green forcefield in the Untamed Downs, not too far from the Bygone Settlement meditation point. You'll have to avoid some Roller Mines to get to it, but once you do, it's a pretty easy fight.

The upgraded E3-VE3 Droideka is assisted by some B1 Battle Droids, but you can use this to your advantage by pulling them towards you, and then firing them at the E3-VE3 to take down its shield. While it packs some decent firepower, the E3-VE3 still boasts a really small health pool, and once you're one-on-one with it, it's barely a contest.

Fort Kah’Lin - Spawn of Oggdo

The Spawn of Oggdo is a lovely call back to the infamous Oggdo Boggdo boss fight in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which proved such a tough challenge early on in the game. This froggy bastard is found in Fort Kah'Lin, in a little cave accessible from a landing pad.

To get there, go to the Fort Kah’lin meditation spot, then grapple up to the upper level, and follow it around until you find a load of droids on a landing platform, next to a Priorite Shard. Walking towards the shard will see the ground crumble beneath you, dropping into the boss fight.

Spawn of Oggdo is still as difficult as ever, and if you're struggling, we recommend coming back once you've finished the main story and upgraded your Force Slow ability. With this, you can quickly make short work of SoO, or at least eat through a big chunk of its health before it can really do much damage to you.

Observatory Understructure - Urgost, Fist of Rayvis

Urgost is a mandatory mini-boss that you'll fight as you work your way up to the Observatory during the story. He's found in the Observatory Understructure, and he's pretty much unmissable, although he will put up a decent fight.

Avoid the electric shockwaves from his hammer, and get your parry timings up to snuff, in order to break through his defence. It's not an easy battle, but it's not too tough either, so you should get through fine.

Jedha

Anchorite Base - Golden Skriton

The gleaming Golden Skriton is a horrible giant scorpion that you'll find in the Desert Ridge area on Jedha. You can get there on the back of a Spamel from the Arid Flats, or up the lift in the Veiled Hangar - either way, the meditation point in The Archive is your best bet.

The Golden Skriton is just as much of a pain to fight as its less-shiny cohorts, since it blocks most attacks from the front with its huge claw. Don't attack constantly here, instead parry the Skriton's tail and claw attacks to open it up for more damage, and potentially even slice its big claw off entirely.

Crypt of Uhrma - Sutaban Alpha

Agressive and fast, the Sutaban Alpha is located in the Crypt of Uhrma, just off from the Blustery Mesa. To get to the Sutaban Alpha, you have to solve a Force Pull puzzle in the Crypt, which requires you to pull four blocks from a door (top left, top right, and the two in the middle on the bottom row).

Once you're through the door, there's also a green forcefield to dash through into the Sutaban Alpha's lair. Don't forget to use Force Slow if you have it, and be ready to dodge and parry its fast attacks, getting hits in yourself when you get an opening. It isn't too tough, and you'll quickly add it to your growing Tactical Guide.

Coruscant

Hangar 2046-C - D-L1T

For some reason, the two Legendary Adversaries on Coruscant are the only ones not included in the Tactical Guide. The first of these two is D-L1T, a slightly-more-powerful version of the DT Sentry Droid, accessible only with BD-1's Electro Dart upgrade.

From the ship landing site, you'll heaad through Hangar 2046-C, and up an elevator. From here, you'll be a short walk away from the electrically-locked door. Use the Electro Dart to open it, and fight off the D-L1T Sentry Droid using your normal methods. You'll likely be tackling this in the post-game, which makes it enourmously easy, especially if you use the upgraded Force Slow.

Undercity Meats - Frenzied Jotaz

Our final legendary foe is the Frenzied Jotaz, and you might remember this fella from your opening hour on Coruscant, when you walked past a huge door with a blue crackling lock, with something big and angry trying to crash through from the other side.

Well, once you've got the Electro Dart upgrade for BD-1, you can return and open this door. From the Undercity Meats meditation point, you should just be able to follow the corridors towards the door, which will be marked in red on your map. Open it, and be prepared to fight the Frenzied Jotaz.

This creature hits pretty damn hard, but like D-L1T, if you're tackling this in the post-game, Force Slow makes it a breeze. Otherwise, use your parry to break its guard, and take good advantage of the openings presented.
