Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is absolutely packed full of secrets to find, and unique challenges to take one, outside of the main story. Force Tears are just one of these secrets, offering challenging bonus stages that will test both your combat and traversal skills.
There are fifteen Force Tears to find across four different planets in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and they can be tough to find. Luckily, we've found them all for you, with handy map locations for you to follow. We're going to assume that you've unlocked all of Cal's abilities throughout the main story before hunting these Force Tears down, so bear that in mind if you're struggling to find any.
While this Force Tear is located in the Derelict Dam area on Koboh, it's actually only accessible from Boiling Bluff, once Cal has the ability to grapple onto balloons. From the Boiling Bluff meditation point, you'll need to jump up platforms towards the Mogu creature, but take a right at the Balloon Launcher, and follow the balloon path up towards the giant bird that you met earlier in the game.
Interact with the bird, and it will transport you, Dark Souls-style, to an area in the Derelict Dam where you'll find the Fractured Agility Force Tear. You'll find a tough platforming challenge inside focused on grappling up to balloons and launching away.
Gorge Crash Site - Fractured Burden
Located in the Gorge Crash Site, this first Force Tear is nice and easy to find, although you won't be able to access it until you've gained the Force Lift and Force Slam abilities. From the meditation point, just head over to the elevator nearby, and stand on it to send it up.
However, as the lift starts to rise, jump off, and you'll find a door underneath where the lift was. Open it up, and find the Fractured Burden Force Tear inside. This one will see you fighting off three Legendary Adversaries at once - the Gorocco Matriarch, the Mire Terror, and the Vile Bilemaw.
Devastated Settlement - Fractured Punishment
Once you've cleared the three thermal spires in the middle of the Devastated Settlement, you'll be able to jump on one of the winged creatures, and ride them up to a giant golden cube, located near the Grand Courtyard.
It's hard to miss, and you'll find the Fractured Punishment Force Tear within the Golden Cube, which will have you fighting off a load of the local fauna.
Smuggler’s Tunnels - Fractured Momentum
In the Smuggler's Tunnels underneath Pyloon's Saloon, you'll find two green forcefield energy doors. Pass through one to enter a big cavern with water at the bottom, and from here, you can wall run towards the other green forcefield, dashing through it to reach the Fractured Momentum Force Tear.
You'll find a challenge within that will have you dealing with zipline platforming. It's a frustrating one, for sure, but it is doable.
Rambler’s Reach Outpost - Fractured Duality
Once you've recruited Pili on Jedha, and relocated her to the garden on the roof of Pyloon Saloon, plant some seeds in the garden. After a bit of time, some vines should grow up the tower next to the roof, which you can climb up to find the Fractured Duality Force Tear.
This one is a Double-Bladed Stance combat challenge, so make sure you've got some good upgrades for this stance if you're struggling with it.
Rambler’s Reach Outpost - Fractured History
The second Force Tear in the Rambler's Reach Outpost is opened by interacting with the little frog creature in Doma's shop, and you can only do this after defeating the Spawn of Oggdo legendary enemy elsewhere on Koboh.
Once you do this, the Fractured History Force Tear will appear in Doma's shop, which will see you fighting Spawn of Oggdo, and the infamous Oggdo Boggdo from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. A tough order, for sure.
Hunter’s Quarry - Fractured Delusion
Starting from Rambler's Reach Outpost, grapple up to the point behind Doma's shop and climb the vines up. From here, you'll need to grapple onto the floating droids (near the flying creature) until you reach a wall run, which will take you to the Fractured Delusion Force Tear.
This combat challenge sees you dealing with some irritating ranged enemies, that hide behind more aggressive melee foes. Defeat them all to complete the challenge.
Marl Cavern - Fractured Power
Start at the Fogged Expanse meditation point, and head up the lift directly behind you, before grappling onto the zipwire nearby. Follow this zipwire in Marl Cavern, taking out any Stormtroopers along the way. Grapple onto the orange balloon nearby to reach the Fractured Power Force Tear.
This is a Crossguard Stance combat challenge, so if you're struggling, try investing some more skillpoints into the Crossguard skill tree.
Swindler’s Wash - Fractured Resolve
Head from the Swindler's Wash meditation point, and drop down from the broken bridge into the riverbed nearby. Head up towards the little waterfall, and go through it to find the Fractured Resolve Force Tear behind it.
This is a platforming challenge pulled straight out of a Mario game that sees a forcefield switch sides every time Cal jumps. Time your jumps well to make it to the end.
Jedha
Timeworn Bridge - Fractured Cunning
From the Timeworn Bridge meditation point, head up the slope and take a right once you're outside. Follow the path to a small crack in the wall, head through and then left through a door. Wall jump up the surface here to find the Fractured Cunning Force Tear behind a green forcefield.
This is a Blaster Stance combat test, so make sure to invest some skill points into your Blaster to make this a bit easier.
Desert Ridge - Fractured Determination
Easily accessible from either the Anchorite Base meditation point or The Archive meditation point. Head out into the Desert Ridge area, and go towards the location on the map below. There's a green forcefield here to dash through, with the Fractured Determination Force Tear on the other side.
This is a tricky platforming challenge focused on dashing through the green forcefields, and it can be a bit fiddly, so perseverance is key.
Blustery Mesa - Fractured Dexterity
From the Crypt of Uhrma meditation point, take a right into a ruin with two Stormtroopers, and head up the stone staircase and through a door into the Blustery Mesa. There will be more enemies here, so take them out, and then walk towards the very windy square-shaped hole on your right. You'll have to jump and dash into the wind to get inside, and then keep an eye for a path on the left of this corridor. This will lead to a green forcefield, and the Fractured Dexterity Force Tear is behind it.
This challenge is a simple Dual Wield Stance combat test. So, as always, if you're struggling, try putting some more skill points into this particular stance.
Monastery Walls - Fractured Tradition
Start at the Monastery Walls meditation point, and head towards the area marked on the map below, staying off the sand as much as possible in order to avoid the big scorpion fella. Fight off a Sutaban in the ruins here, and then head back out and around to the top of the sand slide to the far left of the map below, where some little crabs are. Slide down, and grapple onto the point. Use the beam ahead of you, but avoid the wall run, instead jumpig across the thin columns to your left, to reach the Fractured Tradition Force Tear on the other side.
This is a combat challenge using your standard Single Lightsaber stance, so you shouldn't have too much trouble.
Coruscant
Rooftops - Fractured Malice
From the Rooftops meditation point on Coruscant, head across (and under) the beam nearby, and then traverse across the rooftops towards a chest and a door nearby. Open the door, and the Fractured Malice Force Tear will be inside.
This one is a simple case of fighting two Rancors. Bloody hell.
Shattered Moon
Automated Forge - Fractured Endurance
On the Shattered Moon, start from the Automated Forge meditation point, continue onwards through the level until you reach a platform that has both a zipline, and a shortcut rope to drop down. Don't use either of these, and instead swing across a nearby pole into a room with the Fractured Endurance Force Tear.
This one sees you fighting absolutely tons of B1 Battle Droids, so make sure you keep your health topped up, and use whatever stance has the best area-of-effect attacks (probably the Double-Bladed stance).
