  • Multiplayer Champion

    20

    Win 500 multiplayer games.

  • How to unlock Multiplayer Champion

As a cumulative achievement, this will most likely come naturally as you spend time on the Multiplayer portion of the game or even messing around in Custom Game matches. If you desire to work on this quickly, try hanging around the SWAT and Rumble playlists as these will offer fast-paced action where the matches will last, on average, anywhere from three to five minutes.

Alternatively, you can opt to boost this on your own in Custom Games for an even quicker method in obtaining this achievement. In the Custom Games lobby, simply load up Halo: CE's Beaver Creek (gametype does not matter) and begin the match. As soon as the game begins, pause your game, click "End Game" and this will automatically count as a win for you. Once you have successfully won 500 Multiplayer games, the achievement will unlock.

  • This is the only one I'm really worried about. I usually stick to the campaign/coop modes, so this one may take a while. It's still better than the luck-based ones we usually get in Halo games.
  • not sure why they even put retarded mp achievements in a remake of any games that had mp achievements in the originals of the games.
  • I wonder if this can be done in local games.
  • Easy!
  • Yes this one is very easy if youre playing team matches you should get about a 50 percent win chance, so after about 1000 matches you should get this Its one of the easiest achievements here, just time consuming, which isnt bad if you like halo multiplayer
  • i always end up on the losing team for some reason..
  • This is good, games need more achievements awarding longevity and skill for online play. Although harder for people that get the game way too late.
  • Just tried it out and the cheevo counts +1 when you do a custom local game with 2 controllers. easypeasy.
  • @8 Just tried it out? Right....
  • session set up to boost MP achievements the weekend after the game comes out. gonna be working on any and all MP achievements. join if interested.
  • Heres how to do it solo with 1 controller pretty fast - http://goo.gl/myANeN
  • Yes, custom local games do count toward this.
  • just start a solo custom game and back out. it counts as a win
  • Powerlesscheese is correct. Its how I have been boosting this. Play a couple of missions, then boost 50 MP games. Best way, otherwise doing them all in one go is gonna be boring as hell.
  • Easiest way of getting 500 win achievements is to enter and exit forge mode over an over again till they pop up.

  • You can't host a private match and keep quitting anymore they must of fixed it with the halo odst update. Which sucks I had around 110 more to go.
  • Comment #17 custom mode doesn't work like u said, however forge mode still does fortunately. Just tried it out today and the percentage on my achievement tracker is going up.
  • Looking to start a Big Team Battle team to knock out allot of the multiplayer achievements that can't be boosted. If interested my gamertag is Morzansson. Must have Mic and must be able to play during weekdays from 6 to 9 pm eastern time. Weekends are not specific just whenever.
  • Hey guys, just doing this achievement and "The Long Haul" and noticed that the custom games of Halo CE (tried these first for faster loading) didn't seem to increase the progress. However, after trying out every game, it seems that only the custom games of Halo CE:A and Halo 2A Classic have this issue, so the multiplayer custom games of Halo 2A Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4 still work. Just thought this could maybe save someone some frustration.
  • Easy going, team player with over 87,000 gamerscore. Add me for co-op and achievements. GT: your7sins
  • Was worried the latest Update would have patched this, but the Save/Quit method still works for all the maps except Classic H1, and H2. I would suggest doing this in blocks of 50 per day. Or memorize the exact button combinations to cycle through each match, and put in a movie to watch.
  • This achievement can still be done in Forge Mode. Load up a map in forge, then end game when you get in. Rinse and repeat. 25 wins takes around 40-45mins, so a grand total of 15 hours of boosting and you will net your achievement. Good luck! Wiiz
  • I'm an easy going, team player that gets along with almost everyone. Feel free to add me for co-op game-play and help with achievements. GT: sin 1
  • ANybody want to add me been playing this a lot lately!
  • Does anyone want to do this message me anytime you want GT: Legendary King
  • Nether of these methods seem to work now.
  • If anyone is looking for people to play and get halo achievements, add me. GT:RodMex2894
  • Im up for some boosting if we can get a full team. I K o P p n I
