Cool Story Bro Achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection

This Easter Egg can be found in the mission, Halo.

This Grunt can be found towards the very end of this mission on the edge of a cliff right before you drive down the ramp that leads into the hanger of Forward Unto Dawn. As soon as you ascend the platforms, drive to the right, near the large white rock arch and steer your vehicle slowly around this narrow pathway. At the end of the pathway, a lonely Grunt can be found. When approached, the Grunt will mock the Master Chief and then beg for mercy soon after. The achievement will unlock after the Grunt finishes his line of dialogue.

Take note that if you are playing alone, the Arbiter will always fire the Warthog’s chaingun at the Grunt, thus voiding the Grunt’s speech and the achievement. Also, take note that listening to the Grunt’s tale makes it impossible to complete the rest of the mission. This is due to the reast that the platforms will have broken apart, leaving no possible route to reach the Forward Unto Dawn.
