GOOOAAAAALLLL! Achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection

This Easter Egg can be found in the mission, Metropolis.

The soccer ball in the aforementioned mission is hidden high above the rooftops of the skyscrapers in the city-street area after emerging from the highway tunnel and battling the Covenant within a grassy valley. There are about six distinct ways in getting to the soccer ball’s location, though the two methods detailed below are the best ways in finding the hidden ball.

The first method involves retrieving a Banshee (details can be found below in the next achievement). After picking up the Scarab Gun with the Banshee, head along the highway. Once you pass the amphitheater, you’ll spot a ruined building with a massive hole in its side. At the bottom of this blown out hole, you will see the giant Soccer Ball tucked away in a dark corner.

The second method doesn’t involve a Banshee, though the Sputnik skull must be activated. After the firefight in the large grass valley, you will exit into the city streets. On the other side of the street, there is a large building with a piece of broken glass sticking out of a large crack. Stand on the support edge of this building and perform a grenade jump into the large crack. From here, you will need to carefully navigate up the building by jumping on the broken support beams. Once you get to the last support beam, walk onto the roof of the building and into the large dark room on your left. Here, you will find the soccer ball. Once you’ve found the hidden ball, simply shoot it with whatever weapon you currently have equipped and the achievement will unlock.
