HI BEN Achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection

This Easter Egg can be found in the mission, Regret.

On the aforementioned mission, you will find the words “HI BEN” written in black text on the ceiling of a hidden room. This hidden egg was originally dedicated to Benjamin Burnley of Breaking Benjamin, whose song was used in the original version of the game.

To begin, precede through the mission until your reach the platform where a pair of Hunters are dropped off. You may opt to kill all the Covenant units here, though it’s not necessary. In this area, continue to the side of the platform that is facing the small, isolated temple. Jump onto the ledge of the platform and you should see a broken bridge to your right and a balcony right in front of you. While standing on the ledge, throw a grenade at your feet and perform a grenade jump in order to be launched towards the balcony window. From here, simply follow the corridor to the right and enter the dark room at the end. You will need to shine your flashlight on the ceiling in the far left corner of the room in order to spot the hidden egg. As soon as you see the message, the achievement will unlock.
