    I got this immediately after being "teleported" I didn't have ot survive the seven waves of elites.

    if youre having trouble getting this, once you get to the room stand outside of it to the right for a few seconds. that gave me the checkpoint and the skull the first time i waited instead of rushing in

    Geez this one is frustrating. Found out by a video that what spawns it is a line of dialogue that occurs around the skull location. Been doing it for a couple of hours now and still no skull.

    I did this once on the original xbox I knock over the radio town in the courtyard and used it to get to the room on the second floor. I put as many wepons as i could find up there then grabbed a checkpoint and picked up the skull. I have not got it to spawn yet on mcc but I think you can use the scarab skull

    Im done with trying to get this. Almost at 4 hours of restarting the level following all the sifferent guides. Tried the 7 checkpoint, and the set off sniper alley and wait for checkpoint outside of the room before going in. No luck. 2 hrs yesterday, 2 hrs tonight...

    1 star rating for this achievement. 30 minutes wasted. I'm tired of this bullshit. Why make achievements to a glitch that u have 1/7 of a chance getting and that isn't fun?

    Can't get this at all. Tried for 5+ hours. Either have the worst luck or I'm doing something wrong. Tried every method I have seen numerous times, If anyone can give me some advice, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance.

    I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what. I've spent hours on this achievement, trying different methods and all that. The only difference is that I AM able to make it spawn (I've had it spawn about 6 or 7 times now), but after I pick it up the achievement won't pop. I've survived a ton of waves of enemies and everything, no dice. Any advice?

    I just started working at getting this skull. I've watched all the best gamer's videos on this and I've not been able to get it. If you're someone who likes hunting Halo skulls, feel free to add me and we can work on it together. Even after I get a skull, I enjoy the challenge or getting it twice and helping others.     Just a couple points, if you have trouble getting checkpoint six to click, crouch walk from the fifth checkpoint. Also, after six kill the sniper then crouch walk again towards the seventh. I believe the issues many are having may be because we hit the checkpoints too quickly, by crouch walking it allows the marines to keep up. Also, when I got the seventh checkpoint I had not yet looked in the room, but stared at the wall directly in front when you get there. Not sure if necessary, but a tip nonetheless. Don't give up people!

    i just got it with using maka91's way of going (one my 3rd attempt) but always using melee to avoid checkpoint (seen it in a video) and when i got to the skull it was not there, then a checkpoint triggered because i was not using melee and the skull appeared so i picked it up and was teleported to where the checkpoint should have triggered. but i did get the achievement without triggering 7 checkpoint like most video say need to be done.

    Most guides on the internet are misleading. Jackal snipers is the only trigger you need to activate. It has nothing to do with the path you take, checkpoints you trigger, etc. It's all huge waste of time.
    If you want to make it as efficient as possible, get a checkpoint on the roof before you spawn jackals, then spawn them and run to the room (melee to avoid getting a checkpoint), wait in the room a few seconds. If you didn't get it, reload the checkpoint, spawn jackals, go to the room. Rinse and repeat.
    The chance is rolled when you spawn jackals and has nothing to do with those crazy theories. If you get a checkpoint after that, you need to restart the mission.
