  • How to unlock The Guardians Are Coming

    The Guardians are an unknown entity within the Halo games that appear to be the cause of death when players are killed under unknown or bizarre circumstances, or even when players travel outside the boundaries of a Multiplayer map during an online game.

    In addition, objects that hold no ownership to a player, such as the train in Halo 2’s Terminal Multiplayer map are grounds for Guardian induced deaths. With this information on hand, the easiest way to obtain this achievement is to load up a Custom Game on Halo 2's Terminal map and simply allow the train to run you over. In doing this, the achievement will unlock without any issues.

    I was watching a twitch stream earlier and the guy was on one of the last missions of Halo 2 and got killed by what looked like a brute and he got the achievement.

    got this and the chips dubbios by loading up outskirts with scarab skull on and shooting the floor so i would die

    Get hit by the train on Terminal (Halo 2 MP map). Lots of ways to do it.

    Getting hit by the train on Terminal worked for me, Snowbound and Sandbox guardian kills didn't.

    The Guardians will kill you if you fall outside the map. My friend got boosted by a plasma grenade from a Brute, and while he was in the air I killed the brute, and the achievement popped. As far as I know the guardians have been in the game since halo 2 at least.

    I got this achievement in Cario Station (Halo 2) just at the very beginning...by killing myself with the scarab skull on. I shot a wall to see what would happen as this was my first time using the skull and this achievement popped. It seems MCC has a lot of problems with random achievements. I got a bunch of co-op achievements after completing Dawn (Halo 4) solo.

    Looking to start a Big Team Battle team to knock out allot of the multiplayer achievements that can't be boosted. If interested my gamertag is Morzansson. Must have Mic and must be able to play during weekdays from 6 to 9 pm eastern time. Weekends are not specific just whenever.
